uPSD3254 based interface: using dual uart - larg external ram and flash

I am designing an interface board based on uPSD3254

device.My idea is to use 1st. UART of the

microcontroller for controlling serial devices in a

RS485 bus and 2nd. UART for networking through a

ethernet to serial convertor.

My design needs:

1-IAP for application code updates through network.

2-Managing data storage of external RAM and FLASH memories up to 2MByte for each one by uPSD3254.

Would you please inform me of your commentaries about the idea and requirments?
