STR9 availability

Hi.

I asked one of our ST distributors about the STR9 family and they said that ST had just told them in a presentation that ''realistically you would not want to be designing around these parts until the end of the year...''.

The press release said they would be available in May (ie now).

Are they generally available in 100's? Would they be available in 500's by October 2006?

We're being told that because we're not a Tier 1 customer and we're in Australia that it's not available to us for a few months. We can't get pricing, samples , dev kits - basically anything - out of our distributor.

Does it's availability depend on which region the customer is in? Would we have more luck getting our UK or USA distributors to try and buy a dev kit/get pricing?

Hi Peter,

STR9 by 100's will be available in June and 500's in October.
