End of Life for STPC Atlas?

Hello everybody.

I have noticed that STPC Atlas is not RoHS Compliant yet, while there are two STPC Vega versions which are already lead-free.

Does anybody know if ST plans to offer a RoHS Compliant version of STPC Atlas?

Not being so, I suppose it means its End of Life is quite near...

Thank you anyway.

Bye.

Dear Balaji,

RoHS means Restriction of Hazardous Substances and regulates the use of six ecologically harmful substances. The RoHS European directive states that from the 1st of July 2006, new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market shall not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and two brominated flame retardants (PBB and PBDE).

There are already two STPC Vega versions RoHS compliant, but there is none STPC Atlas Version RoHS compliant. Usually that means the obsolescence of the product is near...

Best regards,

Jose Carlos

At the first let me clarify that NO END OF LIFE of ATLAS!

STPC Atlas, Lead Free salestypes (E) are available.

Order entry in leadfree is openned.

Thanks.
