Hi everyone, I'm very new to the ST forum however I thought it was a great idea to try and share my research here.
I am following the design of an IoT sensor where solar power will be needed.
We are looking for an IC with an MPPT algorithm that allows us to directly take the voltage resulting from the solar cells as input and autonomously charge a single cell battery.
With a digital BUS we would like to access supervision data such as battery status and remaining charge.
We are looking for a complete IC solution as we have no experience in the design of this kind of power systems and we need a high operating guarantee.
The maximum current used by the load is of the order of less than one ampere.
Any advice or suggestions are welcome at this stage.
