Hi I am designing a Locomotive application with my customer, we have selected part# SPC560P54L3BEABY for 3.3V application. Now the end customer demands 5V application too. I learnt that the same series doesn't have a 5V part.

Our code is developed on SPC560P54L3BEABY , will the same code will work on SPC560P60L3CEFAR, or do we have to change our code. I see the part are pin to pin compatible and the only difference is the Flash Size.

Hello Manas ,

SPC560P54L3BEABY is 768K flash size in LQF100

SPC560P60L3CEFAR is 1M Flash Size in LQFP100

It is PIN Compatible you can use the same code in SPC5Studio Application.

Otherwise , just change  your linker file.

About voltage,

You can find in the chapter 3.4 some useful informations about Recommended operating conditions.

  Best regards
