Hello All,

Currently, We are developing a product based up on Safe Microcontroller for safety critical application.

We want to convert the Flexray communication to Optical Fiber single mode communication for longer distance

Is this conversion possible with out Transceivers/Drivers?

What are the necessary things to take care during my hardware design?

Kindly give your valuable feedback.

Thank you.

Regards,

S.Saravanakumar

Hello ,

For the Flexray IP microcontroller,

you can use SPC56EL

For the optical fiber, you need an external device.

Maybe this one ,

Hello Erwan,

Already, I have selected the microcontroller, which has Flexray communication.

My question about, Directly convert the flexray communication to optical fiber communication.

As recommended, is it possible with this Interface controller ??
