Zero-g values for IIS2DH

I am using IIS2DH accelerometer for vibration analysis. As per the datasheet the Zero-g level for x and y axis is 0 while z axis measures 1g. For my application when the device is resting x and y shows zero but z shows the value which give wrong readings for vibration. Ideally it should be x=0,y=0,z=0.

Hi @Community member , I don't know I'm catching the problem... the device reads the gravity acceleration along z, but if you want to remove the DC component of the acceleration along z because you are interest only in the vibration acceleration, you could select the embedded high-pass filter through the CTRL_REG2 (21h) (p. 34 of the datasheet). Send your device up in space, there you have a zero gravity environment. Almost.
