STEVAL-Proteus Newbie, need connection help

JMYoung

I am new to a lot of this and could use some help.  I recently started a new job and my first project is reliability for one of our bread and butter products.  I am evaluating better bearings, seals, etc. and am going to use the Proteus mounted on the equipment to monitor motor vibration.  I have everything mounted and I can watch the sensor outputs from the app on my phone but I really need to be able to use the USB connection to connect the Proteus to my laptop so I can log the data.  Is there a desktop program that I am just not seeing?  I can't get my laptop to recognize the Proteus when connected via USB.  I am hoping to only use USB and not the battery.  Is there an expert out there that can give me a hand?

Thank you!

Make sure your Proteus software supports USB emulation. You need to install the appropriate USB drivers. You can find the “Virtual USB” option in the Proteus installation directory under the Start menu. Click on it and select “Install USB Drivers” to install the virtual USB device. This step is very important because without the correct drivers, your computer won’t be able to recognize devices connected via USB. Give this method a try; I hope it helps you.
