I3G4250D of VDD can operate on 2.4V to 3.6V and VDDIO operate on 1.71V to VDD+0.1V, Here if we put 3.3V/3.0V on VDD and 1.8V on VDDIO then is there any limitation we can face? Core voltage(VDD) and VDDIO voltage can be different?

yes, this setup is possible, i.e. VDD_IO = 1.8V. But you have to connect the pull-up resistors between the I2C lines and VDD_IO. In addition, the IO voltage of the controlling microcontroller must also be at the same level, i.e. here 1.8V, either directly or via a level shifter.

And yes, core voltage VDD and io voltage VDD_IO can be different. But in this case you should put an additionally blocking capacitor of 100nF between VDD_IO and common GND.
