We used LSM6DSMTR this part in our medical device application.

Hi @Vmist.1 ,
please note first that none of the ST iMUs is qualified for medical standards. The usual flow is that the customer qualifies his medical application with the proper procedure: if the application as a whole passes the qualification steps, the entire device and its components can be declared medical level.
Coming to your questions:

No, the sensor is not part of Food & Drugs administration policy.
>> 2. EoL of 6 axis
The lifetime of a standard ST sensor is less then 10 years, typically 5 or 6 years. However, ST portfolio offers also sensors with a 10-year longevity commitment. The suggested sensor satisfying this criterion is the ISM330DHCX, tailored for Industry 4.0 applications. If it is possible for you, with respect to the maturity of your application, I would suggest you to use this sensor.
