I am using the BlueNRG-MS on SensorTile and loaded the BlueMicrosystem2 firmware.
When connecting/disconnecting with ST BlueMS App using iPhone. Everything is OK.
When testing the same with Android phone (Android 5.0.1), it can connect and communicate.
However, after exit the
ST BlueMS App and try to Scan for device again. The device cannot be found anymore.
Checking the firmware, the status indicate device still in 'connected' state.
Should there be a timeout for this ?
The only way to have device advertise again is 'reset' firmware
Thanks for advice.

Hi Dilbert,
I need some information to reproduce the problem.
- Does it always happens or only after that you run some specific demos?
- 'exit the ST BlueMS' means that you put it on background or you you put on
background
+ delete it from the app stack?- are you using the Bluemicrosytem2 v2.2?
Thanks
Giovanni

Hi Giovanni,
- I tested number of times and it happened every try. Wonder this is Android V5.0.1 issue as it is pretty old version.
-
'exit the ST BlueMS' means I try to disconnect the device & Apps. In the Apps, I simply return to 'Start discovering' page.
- Yes, I am using
Bluemicrosytem2 v2.2

Hi Dilbert,
It may be a problem related with a strange combination of Android version + mobile model.. could you try with a different mobile/android version?
Sorry but with my test devices I never see a problem like that..
Best Regards
Giovanni
