What is the number of times the non-volatile memory (NVM) on STUSB4500 can be written? I cannot find this information in the datasheet.

Hello

We can write 1K time the NVM.

Anyhow, I'm curious to understand why your application needs to write so many time STUSB4500 NVM.

Usually, NVM stores mandatory setup to power up and then, if PDOs for example, needs to be changed 'in live', this is done using I2C registers (see https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/embedded-software/evaluation-tool-software/stsw-stusb003.html software package)

Best regards

Thank you for your answer!

The question was more for development purposes. In development, we have already written the NVM on our development board several tens of times, and I was worried we would wear out our memory and need another development board. But it seems we still have some writes to go before that happens. 🙂

We do not intend to write the NVM so many times on our intended application.
