Hi Vcher.1,
The ST4SIM can be put into an Android phone and it's enable for data communication only.
The communication it's over ISO interface and in case of standard modem to the access to the eSIM is through specific AT commands.
In case of Android you should a specific library to have access to the eSIM.

Hi Vcher.1,
such limitation is both linked to the profile provided by our partner (Mobile Network Operator) and the device segments we target with the ST4SIM.
In fact we are addressing both M2M and IoT devices for which we expect data communication only.

Hi Vcher1.,
the product is the eSIM compliant to the GSMA Remote SIM Provisioning protocol.
Here you can find more details about such type of products: https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/premium-content/premium-content-whitepaper---esim--hassle-free--secure-global-connectivity-for-m.html.
ST can offer both eSIM flavors, Consumer and M2M, depending on the final device.
