Hello,
We are using SPWF01SA.11 to provide WIFI connectivity to our items that become micro-webservers.
Our provider told us that the product entered in NRND (Not Recommended for New Design) phase.
Will ST provide an equivalent/alternative or does this kind of WIFI solution become totally obsolete ?
Thank you for the answer.
Regards.
Vincent

Thank you Flow for the answer and bitter finding.
So it seems to be the end of SPWF0x story.
Now we have until Dec 2018 as LTB (Last Time Buy).
Does anyone has a solution for (easy) replacement of these pratical Wifi modules
with UART and integrated webserver ?

It's so bitter: End of last year I did a re-design and switched from SPWF01 to SPWF04 to be future-proof. And now the SPWF04 is obsolete, too...
I will probably switch back to Microchip

Is there an existing ST module that could give the same features as SPWF01SA.11 with Ethernet instead Wifi ?
Our needs are :
- AT Command to set network parameters from UART
- AT Command to write Html files to the module from UART
- output.cgi command to send Text from webserver client to UART
We could then replace our Uart to Wifi webserver by a compatible UART to Ethernet webserver.
That would need an ethernet cable instead of wifi but our customers could deal with such a solution.
