I'm bonding a device with an iPad using the 'just works' model. After clearing the bonded list on both the iPad and the device, bonding proceeds fine with no errors. But after a disconnect and reconnect, the application sends ACI_GAP_SLAVE_SECURITY_REQ and I get the symptom described in release note: The slave sends a HCI_DISCONNECTION_COMPLETE_EVENT to the application, with Reason=0x3D (Connection Terminated Due to MIC Failure).
Any work arounds or is this a new bug?
