Hi Community,
I have a STREF-SCS001V1 board and I try to create communication with STUSB4500 IC via I2C, but there is no response. I tried to sweep addresses from 0x00 to 0xFF but there is not hit for any address. Also I tried 0x50 and 0x51 alone but does not work either.
My setup is:
- The board is powered from USB-C from a Mac wall adapter
- I connect the I2C with SCL/SDA pulled up to +3V3, ground connected
- I create the communication from a python script from Pycharm
I checked the I2C frames with scope and all seems correct, it puts out what I program so I do not understand what happens. Can it be that the STUSB4500 chip is locked for some reason? I have no other guess.
