Experimental results showed that the RefSPAD did not improve the range as much as we thought it was.

In the end, the sensor works fine without it.

From document, it says that RefSPAD and crosstalk calibrations have to be performed whenever the customer adds a protective cover glass on top of the VL53L1X module. So the VL53L1X ULD driver can solve the case that a protective cover glass is on top of the VL53L1X module, right?

Is there other performance risks if we select the VL53L1X ULD driver because it is easy to port on Android platform?
