Hi I have an application inquiry...'m looking into remote mounting a ToF sensor (i.e. VL53L4EDV0DH/1) in order to observe the environmental limitations of the sensor in a more difficult envorment...are there any guidelines or application history for this kind of optical adaptation? (not as straightforward as a simple cover glass)
thanks,

Hi
This is interesting use case, for glass guide, normally we should use the flat cover glass and put is in parallel with TOF sensor top surface. for the cover glass itself, it needs high transmittance and low haze value at 940nm.
For your use case, you need make sure the optical parameter will not degree with extreme conditions.
For the cover glass guide, you can refer to the guide for L0 in below link.
