Contest Rules

embedded world 2025 Q&A I Contest on the ST community platform
March 11-13, 2025 (in Nuremberg, Germany)

(Hereinafter referred to as “Contest”)

1.1 This Contest is organized by STMicroelectronics International N.V a company incorporated and existing under the laws of the Netherlands, acting for the purpose of this Agreement through its Swiss branch and headquarters located at 39, Chemin du-Champ-des-Filles, Plan les Ouates, 1228 Geneva, Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as "ST").

1.2 This Contest will be conducted during the Embedded World event 2025, Nürnberg Messe, Messezentrum 1, 90471 Nürnberg, Germany.  The Contest starts on 11 March 2025 at 09:00 CET and ends on 13 March 2025 at 17:00 CET. The goal is to encourage Embedded World 2025 visitors to discover and/or engage on ST community forum and have a chance to win a voucher to spend on certain ST products as better detailed below.

1.3 Participation in this Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules (hereinafter referred to as “Contest Rules”). This Contest is conducted transparently and participation in this Contest is voluntary.

1.4 The Contest Rules are available throughout the duration of the Contest on 11-13 March 2025 on the website via the following hyperlink:

https://community.st.com/t5/embedded-world-2025-q-a-about/rules-of-participation/td-p/78024  and can also be obtained by sending a written request to the following e-mail address: lina.dabasinskaite@st.com, the contact persons indicated in section 5.

2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

2.1 The Contest is open to any natural person who is at least 18 years old during the duration of the Contest. Participants should ensure that their participation complies with their own company’s code of conduct, policies, procedure and/or guidelines and ST declines any liability for any unauthorized participation.  Multiple entries from the same individual using different e-mail addresses are not allowed. Participants need to create a new or use an existing ST Community account on the website via the following hyperlink: https://my.st.com/cas/login?lang=en&service=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.st.com%2Fcontent%2Fst_com%2Fen.html

2.2 Once the participants have an account, participants can place the questions on a hidden discussion thread on the ST community platform on the website via the following hyperlink: https://community.st.com/t5/embedded-world-2025-live-q-a/embedded-world-2025-stm32-mcus-q-amp-a/td-p/775313

2.3 To access the hidden thread, attendees need to scan a QR code that is displayed on the “ST digital ecosystem booth”.

2.4 Participants may only participate in the Contest once, there can be only one question placed by a single Participant.

2.5 The question must be only related to STM32 MCUs.

2.6 The question will be answered by ST employees, experts of STM32 MCUs

2.7 The winner will be chosen according to the rules outlined in Article 3 of these Contest Rules.

2.8 All Participants joining ST Community platform are bound to ST Community Terms and Conditions that they accept when creating ST Community account available on the website via the following hyperlink: https://community.st.com/t5/community-guidelines/st-community-terms-and-conditions/ta-p/575227 .

3. WINNER SELECTION:

3.1 Within 7 (seven) business days from the end of the event, the winner will be drawn at random from among the participants using a randomized tool to pick a winner anonymously.

3.2 The results are final, binding, and not subject to appeal or dispute for any reason. Disputes over the questions and answers of the Contest will not be accepted.

3.3 The winner will be contacted by e-mail by ST to collect the prize.

3.4 The winner must respond within 7 (seven) business days of being contacted. If there is no response within this period, ST reserves the right to select another winner.

4. PRIZE DESCRIPTION AND DISTRIBUTION:

4.1 ST eStore team will provide a voucher code for free product and free shipping (product value no greater than USD $50/approx. EUR47) using the email address of the winner.

Using this voucher, the winner can:

a) redeem for one of the products listed in Article 4 and b) have free shipping while placing an order through our store on the website via the following hyperlink: https://estore.st.com/en/

4.2 The voucher is valid only for one of the following boards:
