ST Community Terms and Conditions  
 
These T&Cs apply to Your use of the ST Community Site.  
You agree to abide by these T&Cs whenever you Use the Community, navigate through its pages or resources, or read or use documents and information posted on the Community.  
The Community also protects the interests of all of our members, as well as our goodwill and reputation.  

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THESE T&CS, YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE THE COMMUNITY. 

Article 1 – Definitions: 
The following terms shall have the following meanings: 

“Community” means ST Community Site. 

“Community Content” means all content, including without limitation, language, data, information, and images, provided through, or disclosed by use of the Community, whether by us, our customers, or other Users of the Community.  

“Feedback” means any suggestion or idea for improving, enhancing, and/or modifying the Community or ST’s product offerings.  

“ST” or “We” means STMicroelectronics International N.V a company incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands, having its registered offices at WTC Schiphol Airport, Schiphol boulevard 265, 1118 BH Luchthaven Schiphol, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, acting through its Swiss branch at 39, Chemin du Champ-des-Filles, CH-1228 Geneva – Plan-Les-Ouates, Switzerland.  

ST Terms of Use means the following terms located at https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/common/terms-of-use.html  

ST Privacy Policy means the following terms located at https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/common/privacy-portal.html 

"T&Cs" shall mean this document, ST privacy policy, ST term of Use and its appendices attached hereto, and any other terms included by ST on this or any other ST website. 

“Use” means navigate through its pages or resources or read or use documents and information posted on the Community.  

“You” or “Your” or “User” means the person or entity using the Community and any person or entities who is accepted as a member of the Community for the time being. 

Article 2 – Community Purpose 
2.1 The goal of this e-Community is to provide a peer-to-peer and direct support for people using ST products and services such as our customers, partners, and employees and anyone with an interest in enterprise semiconductor technology.  

Article 3 – Ground Rules  
3.1 You must have your own username and password.  
3.2 You shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of username and Your password to prevent an authorized access to your account. 
3.3 The password must be kept private and must be strong. You agree to not give your username and password to any unauthorized person such as your colleagues, teammates, or other company employees. 
3.4 You are fully responsible for activity that occurs, and statements/posts made under your username.  
3.5. Cite the source of any copyrighted material you post or upload if it is not your own original content; 
3.6. Conduct and Content 

3.6.1 You must not:  
a) insult, threaten, stalk, victimize or intimidate anyone or any group of people for any reason; including, but not limited to, based on age, gender, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, race, or religion. We have a zero-tolerance policy on personal attacks and offensive comments; 
b) use these forums to discuss religion, politics or any other topics that may be deemed controversial and/or that are not linked to the technical nature of this community. [There are plenty of places online to support your favorite political candidate or to express your views on religion; this is not absolutely and unequivocally one of them].
c) post or spread viruses, spyware, malware, or other software intended to harm another User's computer; 
d) invade anyone's privacy by attempting to harvest, collect, store, or publish private or personally identifiable information, such as passwords, account information, credit card numbers, addresses, or other contact information without that person's knowledge and willing consent; 
e) impersonate an ST employee, agent, manager, host, administrator, moderator, another user, or any other person through any means; 
f) attempt to manipulate the community’s ranking and reputation systems, as well as any other features of this website, by violating any of the provisions of these T&Cs; 
g) post comments encouraging piracy or hacking of any sort. This applies not only to ST products, but also to all external content; 
h) post or upload content, that it is not your own original content, without cite the source of any copyrighted material, provided that you are fully entitled to do so in compliance with applicable law;
i) link to websites that require payment to view/access information; 
l) use these forums as a platform to advertise products and services, unless related to and/or adding support value to a technical discussion.  

Article 4 – USER PROFILE INFORMATION
4.1 We may refuse to grant your access, and You may not use, a username or email address that a) is already being used by someone else, that impersonates another person; b) that belongs to another person (without that person’s written consent); c) that violates the intellectual property or other rights; d) that is vulgar or offensive; or e) that We reject at our sole discretion.  
4.2 You agree that all your profile information is accurate, true, current, and complete. ST may terminate your account immediately if any of Your profile information is inaccurate, false, out of date, or incomplete. 
4.3 You must not post sensitive information that could be used by others to steal your identity, like your street address, your phone number, any sort of national ID number (such as social security or ID card numbers), or your credit card number, agreement numbers, account numbers or customized part numbers.  
4.4 You must not share anything about yourself that you would not want to see on a road-side billboard.  
4.5 You must not share any confidential or sensitive ST Product related information. 

Article 5 – UNAUTHORIZED USE
5.1 If Your username or password is compromised, if You become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, or you notice another breach of security, you must notify us immediately community@st.com.  

Article 6 – Feedback 
6.1 If you submit any Feedback to ST about the Community or ST’s product offerings, ST shall own such Feedback and may use, profit from, disclose, publish, keep secret, or otherwise exploit the Feedback, without compensating or crediting You. 

Article 7 – Member generated Content and User cautions 
7.1 This is a public Community where We strongly encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.  
7.2 While ST experts do participate in answering questions, We welcome and rely also on the vast knowledge of our Users to help their peers.  
7.3 ST does not guarantee responses to every question posted in the Community, yet We will provide programs and engagement to make the response rate and availability of useful content as high as possible. 

Article 8 – LIABILITY – DISCLAIMER 

8.1 THE COMMUNITY AND ALL INFORMATION, COMMENTARY, SERVICES, AND DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED IN CONNECTION WITH ANY PART OF THE COMMUNITY ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING, USAGE, OR TRADE PRACTICE. ST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES, COSTS OF REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS OR SERVICE, OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO INFORMATION OR DATA ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY PART OF THE COMMUNITY OR THE RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION CONTAINED ON ANY PART OF THE COMMUNITY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE, SHALL ST BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OF ANY PART OF THE COMMUNITY, OR RELIANCE ON THE INFORMATION PRESENTED IN ANY PART OF THE COMMUNITY OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY PART OF THE COMMUNITY, EVEN IF ST HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. ALL DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN THESE T&Cs OR OTHERWISE EXISTING AT LAW SURVIVE ANY TERMINATION OR EXPIRATION OF THESE T&Cs.  

8.2 FURTHERMORE, ST DECLINES ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONNECTIONS MADE BETWEEN USERS. THIS INCLUDES ANY DISPUTES THAT MAY ARISE FROM CO-WORKING OR COLLABORATION BETWEEN USERS OF THIS COMMUNITY, OR ANY CONVERSATIONS THAT MAY BE HAD AWAY FROM THIS COMMUNICATION PLATFORM. 

8.3 ST DECLINES ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTENT POSTED OR UPLOADED BY USERS OF THIS COMMUNITY OR USERS OF THIS PUBLIC WEBSITE.  

Article 9 – TERMINATION AND CANCELLATION 

9.1 ST reserves the right, at its sole discretion, and without any obligation to do so, to review and remove user-created services and content at will and without notice, as well as to delete content and accounts. 

9.2 ST reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to ban participants temporarily or permanently or terminate access to the Community if Users are found to be breaching these T&Cs or any other rules stated in ST websites or documentation or threatened breach hereof. 

Article 10 – Miscellanea  

10.1 Your use of the Community is subject to:

10.2 The language of the Community is English.  
10.3 ST reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time, without giving You prior notice, effective upon posting of the modified T&Cs. You can find the most recent version here. Your use of the Community following any such modification constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these Community as modified. You agree to review the T&C on a regular basis and always remain in compliance. 
10.4 You are not allowed to assist or engage others in a way that would violate these T&Cs. 
10.5 We will enforce and ensure compliance with this T&Cs by using methods We consider to be appropriate. 
10.6. We reserve the right to modify these T&Cs at any time without giving you prior notice.  
10.7 If any provision of this T&Cs or the application of such provision, is invalid or unenforceable under any applicable statute or rule of law, the remaining provisions of these T&Cs shall remain in full force and effect. The failure by ST to enforce any provision of these T&Cs or to exercise any right in respect thereto shall not be construed as constituting a waiver of its right hereunder.
