I have enabled fpu on spc56ec64l8 and am not seeing the performance gains in floating point applications. do I need to use different commands to use the fpu more efficiently? do commands that are specified in e200z4 datasheet by nxp work in spc5 studio?

Hello ,

could you check the assembler code generated by the compiler ?

The commands specified in the e200z4 datasheet by NXP should work in SPC58 Family.

To access a memory for floating-point data could be slower due to the data size.

Best Regards

Erwan
