Dear Forum members,
In one of my application, I need to drive photo LED of IL300 through TLO64. But it is not working. If I just replace TLO64 with TLO74, everything works proper. My initial guess was that TLO64 might not be supplying sufficient current. But looking at datasheet, I didn't find any major deviation in output current graph of both these IC's. Am I missing something?

Thus, the TL074 will help you in your application by driving more current, moreover, you could also use it with faster input signals. Regards, Sylvain
Hello,
The TL074 and TL064 op-amps do not have exactly the same output capabilities. Actually, the TL074 is able to drive more current. In the figure below, you can find a comparison between typical parts of TL064 and TL074. In addition, thanks to its higher supply current, the TL074 has a bigger GBP, bigger SR and a lower noise. - GBP : 4MHz (1MHz for the TL064) - SR : 16V/µs (3.5V/µs for the TL064)
