Does the TS942AIDT have reverse supply protection for supply voltages +/- 9Volt?

Hello,

First of all, the max voltage allowed on TS942 is 10V. It means that Vccp-Vccn = 10V, thus you could supply the TS942 with Vccp=5V and Vccn = -5V  or  Vccp=10V and Vccn=0V.

A supply voltage of +/-9Volt will be above AMR, indeed the op-amp will have a supplied voltage of 18V.

T

he TS942AIDT has ESD diodes internal that provide a direct path from Vcc- to Vcc+

If the current is limited (<20mA), then Vcc(= Vccp  -  Vccn) =+9V or -9V will not be a destructive condition .

Please note that the device is not operating while reversed supplied.

Regards,

Sylvain
