Hi, I know there are other posts on this forum about this issue, but have not been able to solve my problem even when implementing the fixes those posts suggest. I am a total newbie to STMCubeMX etc - this is my first project on any ST MCU. Here are some details about my situation:MCU: STM32F405RGT6 Programmer: ST-LINK V2 (blue USB) - GDB serverI try running HAL_Delay(500) and I step into the function using the debugging mode. My understanding is that this function relies on a periodic interrupt of the CPU (every 1 ms), at which point the HAL_IncTick() function is called, eventually increasing the number of ticks until the delay is complete. I took a look at the NVIC configuration as others suggested in posts - I set all the interrupts that I had control over to 1 (lower priority than the systick interrupt, which I left at priority 0). Still didn't stop the problem. I also found that for some reason (can anyone elaborate as to why?), the NMI interrupt handler and the HardFault int

Hi there!Is there a way to permanently disable the resolve clock issues feature of STM32CubeIDE-1.7.0? I've tried saying "No" and remember my options, but the interface just completely ignores me and does it anyway. It's utterly infuriating. Is there a preferences option somewhere I can set?Is there a setting somewhere to disable this feature? It's frustrating as it keeps trashing my settings before I can fix them manually.As it stands, it basically makes the .ioc view editor unusable. Since sometimes it just gets stuck updating clock frequencies even when you explicitly ask it not to, and it can very quickly ruin a configuration.Regards,Luke
In RM0440, STM32G491 is Category 4.Therefore OPAMP6 can be connected to ADC3 refer to RM0440 21.4.4(ADC Connectivity)But I cannot find check option for OPAMP6 in ADC3 setting.Is it unavailable? or not implemented yet?
Please see .ioc test attatched.
Dear ST community, I am new developing firmware for stm32s. I am trying to enable the interrupt for RTC wakeup for a nucleoL476RG board using STM32CubeIDE 1.7.0 (which is using STM32CubeMX 6.3.0-RC5). I am selecting WakeUp: Internal WakeUp. I am also enabling RTC wake-up interrupt through EXTI line 20 and selecting Generate IRQ handler and Call HAL handler. However, the HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer_IT call is not been created in MX_RTC_Init. Interestingly, the alternate HAL_RTCEx_SetWakeUpTimer does get generated if I select Internal WakeUp but without enabling the interrupt.Am I missing something in my configuration or is there a bug in STM32Cube? Help would be appreciated!
Hello,I would like to add some code in the generated file "stm32g4xx_it.c" but I can't find any template.Does anybody know how persistent code can be added to that file?I know that there are user code sections but I'm using Simulink to generate code and my code is overwritten by Simulink...

Currently our customer implemented intensive mathematical floating-point double-precision algorithms in Matlab and converted them into C code using the Matlab Code Conversion tool. He needs to perform further platform-level optimizations using CMSIS DSP-based APIs for operations like matrix multiplication, addition other math functions square root, etc, at double precision (i..e double variables f64) as the first level of optimization. Can you please share the details related to the latest CMSIS version 5 support for STM32F7 series MCU as currently, the STMCube is supporting an older version of the CMSIS version for the STM32F7 series MCU family?
I am showing that USB-DFU example available in latest CubeMX STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.9.0 package (/Projects/NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q/Applications/USB_Device/DFU_Standalone) does not work. The example contains this code:/* Test if user code is programmed starting from address 0x0800C000 */ if (((*(__IO uint32_t *) USBD_DFU_APP_DEFAULT_ADD) & 0x2FFC0000) == 0x20000000) { /* Jump to user application */ JumpAddress = *(__IO uint32_t *) (USBD_DFU_APP_DEFAULT_ADD + 4); JumpToApplication = (pFunction) JumpAddress; /* Initialize user application's Stack Pointer */ __set_MSP(*(__IO uint32_t *) USBD_DFU_APP_DEFAULT_ADD); JumpToApplication(); }The above code first verifies that the stack pointer address is in RAM address space - between 0x20000000 and 0x2003FFFF (256k). For STM32H7A3ZI this is incorrect because "regular" RAM (not DTCRAM) starts at address 0x24000000 and is 1024k large. CubeMX generated app based on this package templates for this board (NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q) has init
When going to open my project's IOC file, I am presented with the following options:If I select "Continue", the CubeMX perspective is blank. If I select "Migrate", the CubeMX perspective is viewable.Isn't the older version supported? Any idea what the effort is to fix all of the issues a "Migrate" will do? This is not good time for my project to be dealing with this.
I am using NUCLEO-H743ZI2. I am using STM32CUBEIDE v1.7 with h7 v1.90 to config a application to work with MicroSD card (SDMMC1). After I use stm32cube to config FsFat sdmmc1 , mdma and freertos v1.2. However, the program doesn't work properly. at the end of data file, it always has many NUL, but my text doesn't include this NUL, also as long as file includes this many NUL, none of text can be written. I am thinking possible problem comes from mdma. Does anybody know how to set mdma. I set two channels, please check attached screen shot.
Hello, MCU: STM32F105VCI am going to use TIM2 to operate in encoder mode with two input channels (combined TI1 & TI2).SYS shows a conflict with TIM2. How can I fix the conflict?Thank You.
I want to use the STM32CubeMX code generation tool to generate the USB HID device class driver code, I found that in the USB DEVICE drop-down list box options, there are two HID device class options to choose from, are Custom Human Interface Device Class and Human Interface Device Class, I checked the USB official web list of USB device classes, found that only the Human Interface Device Class, a standard HID class devices. So, what type of HID device is the Custom Human Interface Device Class in the tool? Is it a user-defined HID class device and what are the similarities and differences between it and a standard HID class device? Is there any information available on this?
Hi. Can you tell me, why I don't get interrupt from completed measure of ADC. I need to make 200 measeurements using DMA. I have configured settings in CubeMX. You can find them on the screenshot and the part of the code where I run and call it. The line startinf reading ADC is called but then it still waiting for measure and don't receive interrupt.
How can I add a custom board, by a different manufacturer, to use in STM32CubeMXAny help appreciated
Im initializing my ADC peripheral using the generated MX_ADC1_Init function. At the end of the function, the following snippet is executed:sConfig.Channel = ADC_CHANNEL_TEMPSENSOR; if (HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel(&hadc1, &sConfig) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); }after returning from this function, the FLASH_SR CFGBSY flag is set and i dont know why. Inside the function, we get to a point where we wait forthe temperature sensor to stabilize, using this snippet:wait_loop_index = (((LL_ADC_DELAY_TEMPSENSOR_STAB_US / 10UL) * (SystemCoreClock / (100000UL * 2UL))) + 1UL); while (wait_loop_index != 0UL) { wait_loop_index--; } until that, CFGBSY is still zero. When i step out of the function, CFGBSY is set. if i manualy reduce the wait_loop_index to 10, we do not get the issue!I would not have realized it if i wasnt using the eeprom emulation middleware by ST, which tries to erase FLASH pages.There we get stuck, because you can only erase -or write to- FLASH, if CFGBSY is
Hello,I'm creating a new STM32 project on my CUBEIDE V1.3.0 and on the target sector, I'm selecting an evaluation board (Nucleo-F446RE).After selecting "Initialize al peripherals with their default mode" to YES, for some reason I'm not getting the pinout for the evaluation board rather the basic setting.selecting NO doesn't make any difference.Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?
The cubemx cannot configure the ADC synchronous clock mode when the system clock is 400MHz,But use 200MHz or 480MHz is OK, why? my cubemx Version is 6.3.0this is my ioc file
Specifically I've noticed it with the octospi, but it's also impacted at least software requests.For example, my MDMA config has hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Instance = MDMA_Channel1; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.TransferTriggerMode = MDMA_BUFFER_TRANSFER; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.Priority = MDMA_PRIORITY_VERY_HIGH; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.Endianness = MDMA_LITTLE_ENDIANNESS_PRESERVE; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.SourceInc = MDMA_SRC_INC_BYTE; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.DestinationInc = MDMA_DEST_INC_DISABLE; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.SourceDataSize = MDMA_SRC_DATASIZE_BYTE; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.DestDataSize = MDMA_DEST_DATASIZE_BYTE; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.DataAlignment = MDMA_DATAALIGN_RIGHT; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.BufferTransferLength = 1; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.SourceBurst = MDMA_SOURCE_BURST_SINGLE; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.DestBurst = MDMA_DEST_BURST_SINGLE; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.Init.SourceBlockAddressOffset = 0; hmdma_octospi1_fifo_th.In
Hi,I am using stm32h747bi chip in custom board and I want to communicate with GD25Q32C flash memory. I have generated the code for QSPI driver from cubemx. I initialised the GPIO pins as below:/* Peripheral clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_QSPI_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOE_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOF_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOB_CLK_ENABLE(); /**QUADSPI GPIO Configuration PE2 ------> QUADSPI_BK1_IO2 PF8 ------> QUADSPI_BK1_IO0 PF9 ------> QUADSPI_BK1_IO1 PA1 ------> QUADSPI_BK1_IO3 PB2 ------> QUADSPI_CLK PB10 ------> QUADSPI_BK1_NCS */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_2; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; GPIO_InitStru
