I am designing an Outdoor Radio product with STM32WLE5CBU6. my question is whether the Internal RC Oscillator is enough for my radio applications ? or do I need to add External TCXO in my circuit considering the outdoor temperature environment? for my product cost-cutting. please suggest.
I have a problem with receiving long packets (above 255 bytes) in radio FSK. Document 'an5687-longpacket-operation-with-stm32cubewl-stmicroelectronics.pdf' describes how to send and receive long packets (greater than 255 bytes). I've implemented example project 'SubGHz_Phy_Per'. I receive only errors 'OnRxError', in attachment files.I use MCU STM32WLE5CCU6 (revison Y). Is STM32WLE5CCU6 can support handling long frames (> 255 bytes)? Document wrote on page 13 "In subghz_phy_app.c, define APP_LONG_PACKET to 1 and make sure the die version is revision Y." In example project is wrote "Tx Long packet enable(payload can be greater than 255bytes. Available on stm32wl revision Y)". My MCU STM32WLE5CCU6 is from series STM32WLE.
Hello, for many years there are only 2 basic HID devices - keyboard and mouse and more recently - keyboard mouse combo! Is there any reason for not providing there examples? I guess that half of employees can do that task if this is so easy and obvious and that why it is not provided.
Hello, After prototyping with a Nucleo STM32WLJC, I start to use LoRa-E5 board from Seedstudio with a STM32WLE5 MCU.I want to make a P2P communication, so I'm trying to make a ping pong project on this board.I tried starting from seeds LoRaWan exemple, from ST pingpong exemple and also from this repo project and .ioc file(https://github.com/danak6jq/Seeed-LoRa-E5).But It's not working...After debuging I find out that in SUBGHZSPI_Transmit function, a timout error occured while waiting for TXE flag to be set.I can't find any others exemples to compare the configuration...Does anyone have a idea about whats happenning ? Or a tips that can make me move forward ? Thanks Hugo
I am trying to make communication between two Lora E5 mini modules. So, I am using SubGhz Ping pong example. I flashed program in two lora e5 modules. In one module, I am always getting HAL_SUBGHZ_ERROR_TIMEOUT in the function SUBGHZSPI_Transmit. Please help me resolve this issue.
I'm working on the STM32WL55 Nucleo-64, starting from the LoRaWAN_End_Node.I performed a hexdump and noticed that the ELF file generated at the end of the compilation process contains a significant recurrence of absolute paths, as shown in the picture below. I tried using the menu "Properties->Path and Symbols->Includes" to include all the paths through the workspace to avoid the absolute paths. What did I do wrong? How can I generate an ELF file containing only relative paths?Thank you in advance.
Hi, I am using a STM32WB15 board for BLE applications. I understand I need to download the correct FUS before I can ask the board for running any programme. However, I find when using UART to connect the board I cannot running the FUS as well as wireless stack after they are downloaded. I tried set boot0 from 1 to 0 it seems not work. Do anyone know how could I make sure the FUS running when UART connection is used (unfortunately my board is not reserve other links e.g. J-Tag or SWD).
In STM32cubemonitor-rf, when i click 'connect' buttion,pop-up massege 'Device under test not responding COM port closed'. How can I use the program. please help me.
Hello,I want to read which stack is updated in my controller. For example stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_extended_fw / stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_light_fw / stm32wb5x_BLE_Zigbee_RFD_static_fw. So can I read back the stack name using code? Is there any way to read the stack name? For reading the Stack version I am using this "SHCI_GetWirelessFwInfo" function. is there any function available to read the stack name? Thanks and Regards Sarthak Malik
Hi all,My application is showing belowDevice(NUCLEO-WL55JC1 EVM) send data to Gateway --> wait 100msec --> enter receive to wait data from gateway. In my test, If data from gateway more then device. The device report CRC Error to application layer.I reproduce similar problem with (sample code)1. Import SubGHz_Phy_Per and build it as TX side2. Use attachment as RX side3. IF data data length less then 64. I will get IRQ_CRC_Error and OnRxDone at the same time
Hello everyone, I want to measure the current consumption in low power modes on a STM32WB5MMDK discovery board, I would have two questions :)1) I have clock issues when I want to use MSI clock to have a 2MHz SysClk to put my STM32 board in Low run power Mode, I don't know how to do it then 2) I also wanted to know how to enable and disable the flash memory, because in the datasheet the current consumption in Sleep mode and Low power sleep mode is given when it is On and when it is Off, so I wanted to compare it with the datasheet but I don't know how ? Thank you for any help you can provide! Best regards
My STM32WL55JC2 is programmed with the example code for Lora End Node given in the SDK v1.3.0.Class_A is enabled by default and working properly i.e. receive window of the MCU opens only after the periodic uplink. When the class is set to Class_C in the LmHandlerConfigure(&LmHandlerParams) function, it still functions like a Class_A device.I also tried to change the class later in the join request, but that was also unsuccessful.Any suggestions?
Setup STM32WL55JC1 embedded on a custom PCB with other peripherals STM32CubeIDE Lora gateway - Multitech MTCDT3AC model with a built-in network server, join server, packet forwarder and gateway. STM32CubeWL f/w version 1.3.0 Application hangs because MBMUXIF_LoraSendCmd() command stuck on Sem_MbLoRaRespRcv sometimes I have an application built around LoRaWAN_End_Node_DualCoreFreeRTOS example provided in the firmware. My application on CM4 sends telemetry roughly every 4-5 minutes. It will run well for a few days and suddenly the MBMUXIF_LoraSendCmd() gets stuck waiting on Sem_MbLoRaRespRcv. Reading more on how dual-core system works I figured that if a response is not received through the IPCC channels, the semaphore is never released. This is a potential pitfall for me because my application requires telemetry to be sent continuously at the 4/5 minute rate. I cannot think of reasons why a Resp might not have been received by the CM4 core for any telemetry send Cmd. How to reproduce
Hello everyone, I want to measure the current consumption on a STM32WB5MMDK discovery board. I've found that I had to put an ammetre on the jumper JP1, and I programmed the RGB LED to be working. However, when I put the ammetre and I power my board, I found that the current is null, and I can't find why, even if I checked the schematics and the datasheets. I was supposed to have something around 100 mA normally.Does anyone know the reason of my problem ? Thank you Nour
I am trying to set the maximum number of times I send out an advertisement, I managed to do it with the extended advertisement quite easily. I did this using the "adv_set_param[i].adv_set.Max_Extended_Advertising_Events = 8;"However now I want to do the same using the non-extended feature. Does anyone know how I can do this? /* Functions Definition ------------------------------------------------------*/uint8_t ADV_EXT_Config(void){uint16_t data_cpt;uint8_t i; /* Extended NO SCANNABLE-NO CONNECTABLE */data_cpt = 0;memcpy(&a_extended_buff[data_cpt], &serial_number[0], sizeof(serial_number));data_cpt += sizeof(serial_number); memcpy(&a_extended_buff[data_cpt], &payload_data[0], sizeof(payload_data));data_cpt += sizeof(payload_data); i = 0;adv_set_param[i].enable = 1;adv_set_param[i].data = &a_extended_buff[0];adv_set_param[i].data_len = data_cpt;strcpy(adv_set_param[i].username, "MHE");adv_set_param[i].sid = i;adv_set_param[i].interval_min = 1000;a
Hello everyone,For my application, I need to record a time counter in flash memory, with a resolution of 1/10 of hour (eg. 6 minutes). Here is what I do :As I know there is a limitation for flash lifetime (10000 erase cycles), I built an algorithm which only write zeros in one flash sector (I'm using the 18th sector for that and tried with others). The idea was to write zeros because this normally don't needs to erase before writting (the number of 0s is equal to the number of 1/10 hour elapsed). I saw that there is an other constraint which is to write only dwords (64 bits) from FF to 00, and built my algorythm thaking that into account (using full dword table values set from FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF to 0000000000000000).The problem encountered :My algorithm is Ok as I coded, and I could test the general principle, but I encounter a HAL_ERROR status returned by the HAL write function "HAL_FLASH_Program". I have investigate much deeper and could see the "FLASH_WaitForLastOperation" function fou
Hello,I am using the STM32WL55 with the BLUENRG-2N.i need to add the Firmware update OTA capability using the Bluetooth (BLUENRG-2N)the examples of FUOTA for STM32WL are based on LoraWAN protocol ... so it is not what i looking for.Do you have any examples or documentation (application note or ...) that can help me to make my application ?Thank you,Sincerely.
Never gets past this checkvoid MBMUXIF_WaitCm0MbmuxIsInitialized(void) { while (pMb_RefTable->SynchronizeCpusAtBoot != CPUS_BOOT_SYNC_CPU2_INIT_COMPLETED) { } /* USER CODE BEGIN MBMUXIF_WaitCm0MbmuxIsInitialized */ /* USER CODE END MBMUXIF_WaitCm0MbmuxIsInitialized */ }
i am using LoRa E5 dev board for programming my code , i am using STM32 stlink debugger with stm32 cube programmer , the board is not connecting my stm32 cube programmer , the serial number is showing 1 but when i am trying to connect it is not connecting and showing UR connection mode is defined with the HWrst reset mode , it is mentioned in the manual like Erase Factory AT Firmware section first, as if we need to erase the Factory AT Firmware before we program with SDK. After erasing the Factory AT Firmware it CANNOT be recovered.i dont know how to erase and code for the controller .the stm32 page photo is attached below. i need support , please help me.
I want to configure a stm32wb as BLE central and other as BLE peripheral such that they can exchange data. The combination of all this data also needs to be sent to a mobile phone. Can anyone suggest me a MOOC or may be a document that can be used as a manual to perform this task.
Im running ble heart of stm32wb55 , I would like use adc input channel with the ADC_SingleConversion_TriggerTimer_DMA_ but the tim2 that i instantiate seem not run; the variable ubDmaTransferStatus that indicate the end of dma tranfert(value = 1) is right to insert in callback in the main or in hrs_app.c????
Hi everyone,I'm using a Nucleo WL55JC1 trying to run the Lorawan AT_slave application. When trying to run the project in STM32CubeIDE, I get the error "no device found on target". Did the process of the solution on this post : https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubeide-mcus/error-in-stm32-cube-ide-on-nucleo-f746zg-target-no-device-found/td-p/54578The Cube Programmer is able to connect correctly to the device, and to write the programm successfully, but when trying to run, I get "Error : Unable to get Core ID", and the device disconnects. The Nucleo board is connected through USB to my Windows computer. I didn't modify anything in the LoRawan_AT_slave project code.Does anyone have an idea about how to solve the problem ?Thanks in advance!
Hi,I'm using Nucleo-STM32WL55JC1. I used a coin cell to give power to Vbat and remove the sb21 link. Now I tried the LSE as an RTC source and time works as expected even after I remove power from Vdd, I have used HAL_PWR_EnableBkUpAccess();But when I tried to USE LSI crystal time is resuming from the last power removed but not the actual time.for example, if I removed the power at 15:51:21 and resumed power after 5 minutes it shows 15:51:22 instead of 15:56:21.I want to use LSI only because I don't want to have an external RTC with my board when I'm designing the customer board.my doubt is if LSE works, even LSI also should work. as we can see in the diagram both LSE and LSI are in the same Backup domain. Please let me know if anything missing. Thank you in advance!!!
hi all I testing lora tow nucleo-073 pingpong test.(STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V2.1.0\Projects\NUCLEO-L073RZ\Applications\SubGHz_Phy\SubGHz_Phy_PingPong)But it happen rxtimeout txtimeout . Let me know why... Thanks
Hi all,When I wake up from Standby mode and reinitialize the pins and peripherals, they still don't work. Below is my STBY_SysHwRestore() routine, where I reinitialize clocks, pins and peripherals, but the rest of the code does nothing when they accessing the pins and peripherals. I have looked into the BLE_HeartRate example and copied the CPUcontextSave and CPUcontextRestore from the start up file. What confuses me on the BLE_HeartRate example is that it doesn't need to reinitialize clocks when leaving the standby mode, while on my application it needs, otherwise it get weird behaviour. QUESTION 1: What is the correct way to reinitialize pins and peripherals when waking up from standby mode?QUESTION 2: After waking up from standby mode due to a wake-up timer (registered on the hw_timerserver.c module), if I start a task on the sequencer directly from the wake-up timer callback, the CPU hangs for some reason. This stuff is really h
