Hello! I'm working on a custom STM32WB board (schematic attached -- I jumped VDDRF to 3.3V) I'm trying to create a basic project and pull PA5 (My LED pin) high to verify programs run.I'm using CUBE IDE and set pin PA5 to GPIO_Output with output level as high. Here is my GPIO_Init: GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; /* GPIO Ports Clock Enable */ __HAL_RCC_GPIOA_CLK_ENABLE(); /*Configure GPIO pin Output Level */ HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_5, GPIO_PIN_SET); /*Configure GPIO pin : PA5 */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = GPIO_PIN_5; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_OUTPUT_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_LOW; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOA, &GPIO_InitStruct);Then within the main loop I'm just continuously calling HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOA, GPIO_PIN_5, GPIO_PIN_SET);I'm using the MSI as my clock source and set it to 4MHz. All configurations are defaulted by CubeIDE for the STM32WB10CC (I'm using STM32WB10CC5).Here is

Can anyone either confirm or deny that the End_Node project from I-CUBE-LRWAN v2.0.0 works with the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 (with Murata Type-ABZ module) ?https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/b-l072z-lrwan1.htmlAnd any tutorials on getting it talking with The Things Network (TTN) ?(tutorials I've seen previously were for v1.3.1 - and v2.0.0 looks rather different).
I'm currently using I Nucleo lrwan1 shield and STM32L073 to create a Lora end node. I downloaded the latest I cube lrwan (v2.0.0) and there is no configuration to the I Nucleo lrwan1. So I can't make it work. So, is there anyone who has the same problem or can anyone guide me to make it work. I also posted the problem on the TTN forum and they recommended me to ask the st community about this problem here is the link : https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/forum/t/i-cube-lrwan-problem/48864/3
Hi! I'm working with the STM32WLE5JCC lora IC. Im using it to read sensor data through I2C and a voltage with the ADC. Program works fine in debug mode. When you unplug it from the pc it keeps working. Then, if you reset the board, ADC and I2C return an error. What changes between debuging and after the reset? This works using the MSI (48Mhz) and the RTC LSE.My external clocks are:TCXO 32MHz and a RTCif i change those settings to my TCXO and RTC it stops working.Thank you very much.
I'm new to STM32WB and using BLE_MeshLightingPRFNode example. With the function BLEMesh_CustomBeaconReceivedCallBack, I get the data and data is true but RSSI is wrong How can I fix it or other way to get RSSI from beacon? Sorry for my bad english Regard
I am tying to develop an application in Zephyr for a battery powered device that goes into STOP2 mode for low power consumption when advertising. I have successfully created a test app with STMCube based on the health thermometer example which does this successfully. When in STOP2 mode the current consumption between advertisements is <6uA, with current peaks of up to 20 mA at the advertisement frequency of around 1.5 seconds.I have copied verbatim the code that enters and exits STOP2 mode my Zephyr project which has the STMCube libraries as part of it's distribution, and am able to replicate the same current consumption, but the device does not seem to be advertising correctly and it disappears from the LightBLue client that I am using for testing once STOP2 is initiated..Are there any configuration issues that would cause the BLE stack running on CPU2 to exhibit this behavior? To summarize: advertising works correctly in my test app until I go into STOP2 on CPU1, the base current
Hi! We have a working project on the STM32WB55 nucleo board that we are ready to port to our target hardware which uses the STM32WB5MMG. However, the BLE portion of the project is not behaving the same. Specifically, it will advertise, but will not connect. We don't have this problem with the nucleo board. Worth noting: cubeMX is not generating the IPCC peripheral files needed for the STM32wb5MMG. We have a work-around copying the IPCC files from the nucleo project to the MMG version of the project. We've also gone line-by-line through the entire project comparing the working project to the non-working project and added IPCC related lines such asvoid IPCC_C1_RX_IRQHandler(void);void IPCC_C1_TX_IRQHandler(void);to the appropriate spots. Is there another way to port the project? Does anyone know why the project works fine on the nucleo, but not on the target module?
My device is the slave, that is being connected (not always in the same order) by 2 masters.I would like to create two different connection ways/points to distinguish between the masters.MASTER1 will always connect through "way1."MASTER 2 will always connect through "way2."And I could map the connection handles according to the way they connected. What could "way1" and "way2" be?I was thinking about changing the MAC address/Name I am advertising periodically, by that creating 2 connection points. First master will always connect through MAC1/NAME1. Second master will always connect via MAC2/NAME2.Is it possible? Could I know upon connection through what MAC#/NAME# they've connected? Is there another way? Thanks.
So im trying to follow the 1:20h tutorial about how to setup BLE,narrated by ringo start's voice and i reach the part in which he refers to an inexisting .pdf file containing the links for info about HSE calibration. As cant find that .pdf he is referring to....I am trying the manual configuration described in app note AN5042. I tie boot0 pin to 3v3vreset the mcuprobe the D6 pin with an oscilloscope.... no signal
Looking for a list of all possible commands/scenarios where CPU2 sends commands to CPU1(APP). I saw one specific case in AN5289 command during INIT, what are all the other cases?Any examples/ Further documentation will be great.
Hi,I try to set FUOTA with FREERTOS on NUCLEO-WB55 demo board.I start with the BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS, I built it, flash it and all is ok.Then I flash OTA bootloader (I know it's working also cause I try to update with BLE_p2pServer_ota project and it's ok too)Finally in BLE_CFG_OTA_REBOOT_CHAR project, I change stm32wb55xx_flash_cm4.ld file with the one with OTA section and I modified ble_conf.h to enable BLE_CFG_OTA_REBOOT_CHAR. But after having being flashed on the STM32WB, nothing work anymore. I check memory and bin have been correcly written at the right address 80007000.Could somebody help me with this please?
Would like to have a better understanding on the IPCC memory manager channel.(Have read the AN5289 notes)Appreciate If you can shed more light on it.What is it purpose? Why do we have to clear it after some events? What are its memory parts purpose ? a. BleSpareEvtBufferb. SystemSpareEvtBufferc. EvtPoold. POOL_SIZEIn what situation it is used? Thanks
Hi All, I'm currently working on a project that uses the STM32WB5MMG module.I did a porting of one of the examples of the repository (BLE_Zigbee_Dyn) for RTOS and everything is working fine. Now I'm trying to put the MCU in STOPMODE2; a GPIO Interrupt will trigger the enter on STOPMODE.To manage the stop mode I did this operation 1) I redefined the portSUPPRESS_TICKS_AND_SLEEP function like this extern void vPortSuppressTicksAndSleep( TickType_t xExpectedIdleTime ); #define portSUPPRESS_TICKS_AND_SLEEP( xExpectedIdleTime ) if ( getLPModeEnable() == pdTRUE ) { vPortSuppressTicksAndSleep( xExpectedIdleTime );}in order to be able to avoid entering in sleep mode during normal condition 2) I create a task to manage the interrupt from the GPIO that trigger the STOP MODE/*TO MANAGE THE SLEEP */ while ((xTaskNotifyWait(0x00,0x00,(uint32_t *)&standby_irq,portMAX_DELAY) != 0) && standby_irq != GO_STANDBY)); prepareStandByMode(); /*TO MANAGE THE WAKEUP*/ while ((xTaskNotif
Is there a document describing all the shared memory between CPU1 and CPU2?Looked at AN5289 , but did not find any memory table map.How does CPU2 know where to put the answers for IPCC CPU1 requests?I see a lot of "PLACE_IN_SECTION" in the code not knowing is it shared or not.
If there is a release plan after version 1.0.0, what are the major changes?
If I invoke "hci_le_set_advertise_enable(0)" after advertising via "hci_le_set_advertise_enable(1)", I can no longer communicate with CPU2 and the C2DS bit inside PWR_EXTSCR is no longer set which indicates it didn't go into a low power state (and that CPU2 likely stuck somewhere).Has anyone else seen this bug, or can reproduce it? I'm running custom firmware on a custom product and haven't tried to modify any of the examples to do exhibit this on a stock product, but have successfully been scanning for advertising packets (and enabling/disabling scanning) without issue. This is against v1.11.1 on a STM32WB5x and I can reproduce with:stm32wb5x_BLE_HCILayer_fw.binstm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.binstm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_light_fw.bin
HelloI just received my STEVAL-IDB008V1M evaluation kit. I have been trying to upload my code to the board for several hours after a successful compilation. But I always have this error message" no ST-LINK detected". I also installed the STLINK USB Driver but I still have the same error message. Can someone help me fix the problem ? Thank you
I'm working on getting an STM32WL to work with a RAK gateway. The RAK gateway is configured to use US frequency plan 2, however the lora end node does not appear to be transmitting within that range (it's using 910mhz instead of 903.9-905.3). Is there a way to configure which sub-band the STM32WL uses during transmission?
I'm working on getting the STM32WL on a Nucleo-WL55JC1 devboard to reliably communicate with my gateway (a RAK7243), however I'm running into a few issues. When transmitting from the devboard on the US915 band, I can see the transmission appear on an oscilloscope, so I know the board is transmitting. However, unless the 32WL transmits at nearly the exact frequency I configured the gateway to receive on the transmission never gets forwarded to my backend (chirpstack). I contacted RAK and they said this gateway was capable of receiving on all 8 channels for the US simultaneously, and that I needed to configure my channel plans on the end node. When I searched the Lora AT example project for channel plan configuration, I only found options for the Australian band, and nothing in the US.So my question really is: what am I missing here? I see the end node transmitting on varied frequencies, but my gateway only picks up one frequency even though it should pick up the entire US TX spectrum. A
I am trying to configure Bluetooth on STM32WB5MMG Module, but iam not able to find IPCC option in CubeMX.Please help me out.
Hi,We designed a custom PCB containing a STM32wb55cc and needed it to be connected by bluetooth with an application made by ourselves. Unfortunately, even if ou board is functionning pretty well with STM apps, with our own app we didn't manage to establish a connection between our board and a cellphone. We went through a lot of topics in this forum and didn't seem to see the same problem somewhere else. We also went through some workshops provided by STM over the BLE function but we didn't find any solution. If you need more details about our project feel free to ask.We hope we were clear enough about our issue.Best regards
I'm working with a STM32WB50. To save energy i have to turn off BLE when i don't need it and turn on when i need it.
I try upload FUS and BLE stack to STM32WB55.
