Hi,I want to use the BLUENRG-M2SP for an application and I want to test this BLE module before designing a HW. For this, I have a NUCLEO F411RE and a NUCLEO BNRG2A1.I wonder if it's possible to use STM32CubeMonitor-RF as a serial terminal in order to send ACI commands from a computer to the BNRG2A1 thorugh the USB dongle provided with the P-NUCLEO-WB55.Thanks in advanced,David
Using the suggestions from https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-wireless/stm32wb-sram2a-what-is-the-size-that-can-be-used-without/m-p/176847I can now address the remaining non secure SRAM2A as BKUP_RAM. During runtime this seems to work just fine, but after Standby the RAM is still cleared, even though RRS in PWR->CR3 is and remains set. Is this a "feature" of the wireless stack or am I doing something else wrong? As you can see in the screenshot, I stopped the operation on SystemInit. This is called before any loading of RAM data, so my canaries (expected are 0x55 at the beginning and 0xAA at the end of the test array) should even still be alive if NOLOAD didn't work for some reason, but instead I have clean zeros(! no random data) throughout the array.
Dear ST,Our customers have encountered some problems when using STM32WL in FSK mode. We read the document es0500-stm32wl55xx-stm32wl54xx-device-errata-stmicroelectronics.pdf. There is a suggestion to replace the 32Mhz HSE with 31.25Mhz, but we are changing it. After that, I did a CW wave test and found that the frequency shifted by about 20Mhz. How can we correct this problem? Thank you.
Hello, are there any STM32 MCUs that support WiFi?The ST products I found on the internet are old and not recommend for new designs.I have attended a few STM32 security web events and find the security extensions of the current STM32WB series looks very interesting for me.Currently I am looking for an successor of a TI SimpleLink based project.Best regards and thanks for reading this,Edmund
Hello,I'm trying to update the STM32WB15CC application with the ST BLE ToolBox.On the STM32WB15CC, the BLE_ota application is running (from STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.17.0\Projects\NUCLEO-WB15CC\Applications\BLE\BLE_Ota).Connection with the STM32WB15CC is ok.But when I want to select an "Application binary" file to send, for example BLE_p2pServer_ota_reference.bin, I have the error "Wrong file extension !". I have also tried with BLE_HeartRate_reference.hex, but same error.Where is the mistake? How to build application file that I can send to the device? Thanks for help.
Has anyone out there done OTA with the WB1M? Did you write your own OTA bootloader from scratch, modify the WB55 Nucleo example from CubeWB, or some combination of the two? Any tips?I started trying to modify the example but I think the low level stuff is going to be a constant thorn in the side. Thinking I just should generate a new application from CubeMx for the WB1M, and borrow the otas_app.c BLE logic and a couple of other pieces from the example (like retrieving the reboot request data from SRAM) and that should be pretty easily workable, but curious what others have done here.
The following function aci_gap_update_adv_data returns the error 0x91 which means "Failed". We don't understand why we have this error and the startup of the device. Do you have any idea ?Best regards,Audrey
Hi, I made my first steps in ZigBee by using the NUCLEO-STM32WB55 board with the USB dongle. The dongle is flashed and the blue LED is shining, but the NUCLEO board is printing the following message: [M4 APPLICATION] ZbStartup Callback (status = 0xca) [M4 APPLICATION] Startup failed, attempting again after a short delay (500 ms) [M4 APPLICATION] Network config : APP_STARTUP_CENTRALIZED_ROUTER [M0] [00000000.517][PLATFORM] ZbNlmeResetReq : NLME-RESET.request (warmStart = 0) [M0] [00000000.018][PLATFORM] zb_startup_join_nwk_disc : Attempting network discovery. Hello, This has happened before (here) and was fixed, but it seems that it is happening again. When the downloaded .zip file is opened with a text editor, the contents is:"Service unavailable, please try again later"Please can someone take a look at this? If this is going to happen over and over again, perhaps an alternative method of getting SigFox credentials can be created?
I did not find a real UserManual for STM32WB55, with the register-definitions, peripheral explanations etc.?
Hi,is there an error in the datasheet? The data seems counterintuitive:FT pin input leakage current (max.) is- 150 nA for 0 to VDD-2500 nA for VDD to VDD+1V-250 nA for VDD+1V to 5,5VShouldn´t the last value be in uA perhaps?Kind regardsRené
Looking for CAD resources of NUCLEO-WBA52CG board. I couldn't find any of the CAD files for the STM32WBA chips. Please guide me in this... I have the NUCLEO-WBA52CG board but It will be useful for me if I have CAD files of the Board.
Hello,i am trying to get reporting from a remote temperature sensor Server ( End device) is use ZbZclAttrReportConfigReq to acheive it. I got a STATUS SUCCES in the callback but the device never send its temperature. Can you tell me if i miss someting ? Here is my codeBestenum ZclStatusCodeT status; struct ZbZclAttrReportConfigT config; config.dst.mode = ZB_APSDE_ADDRMODE_SHORT; config.dst.nwkAddr = AT_GetParam1_hex(); config.dst.endpoint = AT_GetParam2_hex(); config.num_records = 1; config.record_list[0].direction = ZCL_REPORT_DIRECTION_NORMAL; config.record_list[0].attr_id = 0; // Temperature ID is Zero config.record_list[0].timeout_period = 30; config.record_list[0].attr_type = ZCL_DATATYPE_GENERAL_16BIT; config.record_list[0].min = 5; config.record_list[0].max = 10; config.record_list[0].change = 0.1; status = ZbZclAttrReportConfigReq( getAppInfo()->temp_meas_client, &config, AT_attReportCb, NULL );
Attached is my demo project for the NUCLEO-WB55RG dev kit.I'm trying to report ZCL_TEMP_MEAS_ATTR_MEAS_VAL when the attribute value is changed (button 3 pressed), but according to wireshark, nothing is send.See app_zigbee.c, line 329I can correctly read the value from the coordinator. What's wrong here?

Hi, I am working with a NUCLEO-WB15CC and can't erase all of the 320 KBytes Flash. When using the STM32_Programmer_CLI the following works perfectly fine:STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD -e [0 55]but withSTM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD -e [0 56]or any other value larger than 55 of the upper sector index, I get the error messageError: Sector erase operation failed at least for one of the existing specified sectorsI already tried to reset the board to factory settings (as proposed in other posts) bySTM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD reset=HWrst -w32 0x5800040c 0x00008000This didn't help and I'm running out of ideas. Any suggestions? hi all,I'm working on a STM32WB5MMGHX and I have play with p2p demos and otherI'm trying now to build a Battery service with only a battery level caracteristicI've set the caracteristic as shown belowmy custom app event handler is as folow : void Custom_STM_App_Notification(Custom_STM_App_Notification_evt_t *pNotification) { /* USER CODE BEGIN CUSTOM_STM_App_Notification_1 */ /* USER CODE END CUSTOM_STM_App_Notification_1 */ switch (pNotification->Custom_Evt_Opcode) { /* USER CODE BEGIN CUSTOM_STM_App_Notification_Custom_Evt_Opcode */ /* USER CODE END CUSTOM_STM_App_Notification_Custom_Evt_Opcode */ /* BatteryService */ case CUSTOM_STM_BATT_LVL_READ_EVT: /* USER CODE BEGIN CUSTOM_STM_BATT_LVL_READ_EVT */ APP_BATT_Single_Action(); /* USER CODE END CUSTOM_STM_BATT_LVL_READ_EVT */ break; case CUSTOM_STM_BATT_LVL_NOTIFY_ENABLED_EVT: /* USER CODE BEGIN CUSTOM_STM_BATT_LVL_NOTIFY_ENABLED_EVT */ Custom_App_Context.Batt_lvl_Notification_Status = 1; /* USER CODE END
Hi! So i have a WL55CC MCU that sends a 64 Byte Payload via LoRa to a Nucelo JC1 Board. When I'm sending with a spreading Factor of 7, everything works just fine, but with spreading factor 12 the receiver goes into a timeout mode, although I've set the RX-Timeout to 10secs and the Symbol-Timeout (?) from 7 Symbols to 12 and even 64.As you can see, the receiver starts in RX-Mode and even gets a Signal ("PRE OK"), but immidiately reaches a timeout. These are my LoRa RX settings. I'm receiving in RxBoosted mode. These are the TX-settings.Thankful for any help!Regards
When setting up the project I go to the ST url to get the ID and PAC from: https://my.st.com/sfxp the zip that is downloaded is corrupted and has a size of 0kb. I have done this procedure hundreds of times so I am sure that the problem comes from the st side. Can someone help me ? I have the production stopped... I have also created a support ticket a few days ago but nobody answer me
Sometimes, if in addition to Bluetooth, WIFI is needed in the development of a product, the third module is used. Does ST plan to include WIFI in the e.g STM32W series in the future?
Hello there!I have a request regarding PA matching impedance measurements. We are currently working on the implementation of a VHF pulsar system. Initially, we tested it on the NUCLEO board without incorporating the filtering components (impedance matching and harmonics rejection). Now, we're planning to design an RF line operating at 150 MHz with a power output of +22 dBm using the STM32WL55JCI7. I was wondering if you have access to the PA matching impedance measurements similar to the ones outlined in Annex A of AN5457. Additionally, it would be greatly appreciated if you could provide measurements at +14 dBm as well, as we'd like to test it with our current SMD Argos module equipped with an external PA could do the job with minor BOM modifications. We have designed an SMD module with an external PA for Argos TX communication, currently operating at 401.3 MHz with a power output of 26 dBm. We are looking to optimize our setup and would like to inquire if you have the PA matching imped

Hello communityGateway terminal image shows FSK at channel 9 and 868 frequency.I have downloaded the library code the default set region is Europe and the frequency is 868. And I have made these changes #define USE_MODEM_LORA 1#define USE_MODEM_FSK 0to#define USE_MODEM_LORA 0#define USE_MODEM_FSK 1However, the gateway and node are not getting connected.Thank you for your help.
Good morning....Please refer to attached pics below:I have referenced Lorawan end node code from STM32 library for the STM32WL55 to use with my custom pcb that has an STM32WLE5. The RTC section of the code is identical to that in the reference code. I load the firmware onto the target and it works for a day and then locks up. Locks up is defined as no more serial comms and powering down the unit and repowering does not allow the unit to resume. If I connect with the debugger I seem to be hung in the RTC_EnterInitMode() / Hal_GetTick function. I have seen this on two boards now. Can anyone tell me what might I do and what is going on??(btw.....I do not have a structured solution on how I make it go away and rework....a myriad of rebuilding, reflashing, etc. and at some point it works again)
Hello community. What is the maximum datarate of LoRaWAN gateway?Example: If I'm sending 180,000 bytes from node to gateway, gateway will be able to transfer from node to server.?Thank you.
