i try to make numeric keypad. What I want to do is to click on the TextArea so that the numeric keypad pops up.If there is an example, it would be better. If not, how do you implement it?Is there any way to output a keyboard example to modal windows?
I want to send data using UART, I've configured everything but I don't get any data output unfortunately. My question is whether this can be because of the fact that I am doing nothing with xTaskCreate? When should xTaskCreate be used and should I use it in my case?
I want to use MC240064GD6W-FPTLW screen with my STM32F4 Discovery but it doesn't work. Can someone help me please ?Thank you.Anne
Hi, I'm trying to load jpeg files in TouchGFX by using the JPEG Loader Library. I have downloaded that from the Git using the link given in TouchGFX Forum. I have added the Library in my project and tried to load a jpeg image. The image was not loaded, the image is placed in the working folder alone. I have set the break point and checked if the file is opened successfully or not. The file was opened successfully but i didn't the image in simulator output . Suggest me a solution for this issue.
Hello everyone! Please, i need help, and i`ve tried everything i could but still cant solve the problem. The thing is that i need my CircleProgress to move using moveAnimator when the screen in entered. So ive added all the lines in the code but still got an error error: redeclaration of 'touchgfx::MoveAnimator<touchgfx::CircleProgress> temperature_screenView::circletemperature'Thanks a lot and looking forward to get some help. Hello,My print size information from gcc shows: text data bss dec hex filename 196078 212 59184 255474 3e5f2 04-03.elfThe RAM usage is data + bss, in my case is: 59396 kBBut this value I think it is not true, because I'm using a display 480x272, so a single framebuffer uses more than this! (480*272*16 bits ~= 260kB)I'm using external SDRAM, does gcc consider external sdram to print this value?Another point, about the memory speed, I'm choosing the proper external RAM for my project and I see two options:1- 64Mb (2M x 32) - In this case the access is through 32 bits and 143MHz2- 64Mb (4M x 16) - 16 bits and 166MHzCould this difference affect the display/graphics performance? A memory with 16 bits interface is a little cheaper, but I don't know if it worth it.Regards.Thanks.
hello, i'm testing a simple TouchGFX BSP coming out of the CubeMX 5.0.1 (i know it's not the latest, anyway...)it's a project "configured" for Atollic Truestudio 6.3. after some tweaks here and there (thanx to a lot of report, online..) i've been able to compile and run it on my STM32F429I-DISC1 dev board. so far so good!first issue: i had to override the LTDC_ER_IRQHandler() because it was raising the LTDC FUIF (fifo underrun.. maybe it's related to the next issue)Now i'm facing the "issue" you can see in the attached image, where you can see the Discover board (with a 240x320 display, portrait mode) showing incorrectly the framebuffer. instead of filing the LCD with the full 240x320 Screen, i made in TouchGFX Designer, the graphic is "cut" at two/third, and black on the right side. it looks like an issue about "overdriving" the pixel clock (and that could explain the underrun IRQ before..)Here the params of the LTDC; where do i find a good set for a check?void MX_LCD_Init(void) { &nb
When I run the program like the picture below, a checksum error occurs. After that, if I reset the hardware, it will work normally.I guess it is a problem caused by using external memory. But I want to know the exact reason why and I want to fix it.Please help me.
Hello everybody,I just bought a Stm32F469-Discovery kit, and I've tried to create a really simple project that should work with both CubeMX (5.1.0) and TouchGFX(4.10.0) but I encountered some problems:First of all, I started CubeMX, selected my F469i-discovery board and set all the peripherals as defaultThen in Middleware -> Graphics I selected TouchGFX as graphics framework and chose Display Serial Interface using LTDC-DSIHOST. I also setted the link to the TouchGFX Executable. In Platform Settings I setted PH7 as LCD Reset Pin XresSelected TrueSTUDIO under Project Maganer -> Toolchain/IDEAt this point I generated the code, it said it has some problems with GFX simulator but I ignored it because I will exclude that from compiling in the Atollic Project.Once I generate the code I executed TouchGFX from CubeMX, and created a simple screen with a white box as backgroud and a button in the center, I then clicked on Generate CodeAt this point, once I tried to Build from Atollic it gi
I'm new to C++ and I've been reading about the buttoncontroller and keysampler but how do I move on element in the scroll list up or down upon a button pressed event?
I saw the datasheet of STM32F769xx and find two Version of LQFP176 with and witout DSI. I can find online With DSI but, how can I buy Without DSI . CubeMX has also with DSI.
Hello everybodyI am trying to configure a project for STM32F746-DISCO board with TouchGFX using CubeMx. A new project. However , the article for configuring the board at this link explains the modifications needed for linker script and modifying the project for EWARM only, as far as I understandI am using Keil , how can I modify the linker script in the same manner ?I hope I didn't miss anything
I need to take input fractional values from user through UI built via TouchGFX.There is a separate Dot button on my UI keypad. But, I am not able to print it on the screen. Please help me for above problem. Just a short clue on what to use will also be sufficient. Sharing the photo of my keypad here with.
I'm getting what looks like assert failures while running a TouchGFX project in Visual Studio. Its happening on two of my designed screens out of 12 so its likely something I've created but need a hint of where to look for the fault. It happens as soon as the page is switched to so part of its initial draw.In case the image is too small the assert looks to be raised while performing a TestArea draw:ucrtbased.dll!_wassert(const wchar_t * expression, const wchar_t * file_name, unsigned int line_number) Line 404 C++Any clues to which property combination I may have set incorrectly in the Designer much appreciated. The only changes made to the gui generated files have been to *** in missing #includes for widget buttons, and this has been working for all other screens.
Hi,I am trying to connect a display which requires a master clock of 27MHz and which operates at 1.8V.I now have two alternative configurations (both are derived from the code generated by Cube MX). The first configuration is performed by the following code:void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct = {0}; /**Macro to configure the PLL multiplication factor */ __HAL_RCC_PLL_PLLM_CONFIG(8); /**Macro to configure the PLL clock source */ __HAL_RCC_PLL_PLLSOURCE_CONFIG(RCC_PLLSOURCE_HSI); /**Configure LSE Drive Capability */ HAL_PWR_EnableBkUpAccess(); /**Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ __HAL_RCC_PWR_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_PWR_VOLTAGESCALING_CONFIG(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE3); /**Initializes the CPU, AHB and APB busses clocks */ RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_HSI; RCC_OscInitStruct.HSIState =
Hello,I am working now on project where screens have many things in common (slide menus, content etc). Is it possible to make a screen which will be the base class for further screens? Or I should make it a custom container?
HiMy development system: STM32CubeMX 5.1.0 (with STM32F7 Firmware Package V1.15.0), TouchGFX 4.10.0, IAR Embedded Workbench 8.32.2, Microsoft Visual Studio 2017.TouchGFX was successfully transplanted on STM32F746IGT6, and 1024*600 LCD screen could also realize display control and touch response. But when VS2017 was used to open the Application.sln solution file under the msvs folder and try to write the button response program, VS2017 reported many errors in finding the source file. After checking, it was found that many file paths specified in the Application.vcxproj file were all wrong. By mistake, most of the files are not in the TouchGFX folder, but in the Middleware folder. For example, when calling the external program ImageConvert.exe was reported during VS compilation, the program could not be found. After checking, it was found that the path error of ImageConvert.exe given in line 32 of the touchgfx_prebuild.targes file was wrong, because ImageConvert.exe was actually in the p
Hello,I have tried to generate a simple GUI with touchgfx, CubeMX and sw4stm32 for stm32f769I-Disco. I used the guide "Configuring STM32F769I-Disco" from TouchGFX I have also read the Tutorial 10 from UM1718. But the GUI on the Screen does not look like, as it should.Any idea what I have missed?
Hello,I used STM32F769I-EVAL board as a design reference for custom board. However, I could not achieve correct operation of MB1166 LCD board which is connected via DSI. It works well on the evaluation board. When MCU tryies to display a picture, screen fickers with coloured lines and stays white.Theres some hardware problem which I cannot figure out. Im attaching custom board schematics of DSI peripheral. STM32F769BIT6 MCU is used.Any help to debug such issue would be apriciated.
Hi colleagues,I'm facing some problems interfacing the I2C touch controller of my LCD dislay. The board's LCD works perfect using only MXCube for hardware configuration and Attolic to debug. Please give me advice what will be the best way to make a custom .c/.h files which I could be able to use only to this hardware configuration, to talk to the msp.c file generated by the MXCube and interface to the touchGFX properly as well. Please share some similar projects or tutorials for this particular example.
hi, i'm developing a TouchGFX Designer based app on STM32F429I-DISC1 that's based on STM32F429ZI LQFP144 pin MCU. so far so good, but..we need more IO pins to they told me our custom board will be based on STM32F429II which is LQFP176. i asked them to map all the peripherals on the same PORT/PIN i'm using currently (and then other will be configured..) but i'm wondering if there's something lowlevel i need to change to have "smoothless" transition.did anyone made the same process and have advice to share?thanx
Hi guys, I have a STM32L4R9I-DISCO board. I create a touchgfx project from Application Template for this disco board. After that I can run simulator, generate code and run target without problem. I can see my application in disco board's LCD. I will use Keil for code development. I see in the webinar videos there should be a Keil folder in the Target folder . But in my situtation there are "bsp" + "gcc" + "IAR" + "IAR8.x" + "os" + "main.cpp". Why Keil folder can not be created?
Hi,there is a bug of CubeMX I Found:I’m using STM32CubeMX5.1.0,and STM32CUBE_FW_L0_V1.11.0when creating a project for stm32l073, In ‘LCD Mode and Configuration’ dialog, ‘Multiplex Mode’ checkbox takes no effect. Whether it is checked or not, CubeMX always generate code with multiplex mode enabled.
I'm following the document "TouchGFX with SW4STM32.pdf" from this board. First, I created a project in CubeMX, then TouchGFX and SW4STM32. The sw4stm32 compiled successfully, but I'm not able to send the program to the board. If you look at the document attached, I'm stuck on step 13 C 3 of page 13. See the screen attached.Any advice?
