Everywhere else (both in this DS and RM0090 rev.17) it's PIXCLK.(In an older CubeMX it was wrong, too, but I don't use CubeMX so won't download current to check).JW
Is it possible to set the folder structure where the designer puts its files into?I want to add the generated output to my specific setup...
Hi!I need to interface 2 VGA cameras with an STM32. The cameras are for snapshots only, so FPS and throughput are not issues, the only issues are:physical interfacingkeeping up with received snapshot dataretaining the data before storageThere doesn't seem to be much public info on the subject, so I came here. From what I understand, I have several options:get a camera that has a simple serial interface (SPI / UART), where I can just configure and ask for snapshots. No luck finding anything like that from a known vendorget a camera that has some DCMI interface, with 18 pins and somehow bitbang with themsome MIPI camera, which I know nothing about.get 2 USB cameras and work with them using USB OTG with 2 STM32 hosts - one main and one secondary, who sends the snapshot to the main over UART.Some other option I'm not aware of?I can't find a good solution for 1.The 2nd one - bitbanging DCMI seems dirty and doable, however, getting into a long adventure only to discover it was a poor choice i
The ability to package code into application templates is a great feature for preparing platform-specific projects, but it mainly seems to involve adding pre-existing files that are incorporated into the project skeleton. But is there any way to add additional code to the classes that are generated when a new TouchGFX project is created?Say, for instance, that I wanted the screen-class to inherit from another base class (as a way of seamlessly extending the screen-class functionality) automatically at project creation. Is it possible to do this in the application template rather than having to do it for every new project?
I built a Custom Board based on the STM32F769I-Discovery Board. The other major part is the connection Pin of the QSPI Nor Flash.Could I most easily download the image of TouchGFX to QSPI Nor Flash? How do I download a HEX file that contains a combination of programs and images?
I am using the STemWin BASIC_HellowWorld Application.I modified the source code to look like this:void MainTask(void) { char counterstring[128]; int counter = 1; GUI_Clear(); GUI_SetFont(&GUI_Font32_1); while(1) { HAL_Delay(1); sprintf(counterstring,"Time %d",counter++); GUI_DispStringAt(counterstring, 0, 0); } }It prints out 13 times. Then emWin stops updating the display, even though the debugger shows the process is still running and the counter is incrementing, If I change the HAL delay to 2, it prints 9 times; if I change it to 3, it prints 6 times. If I change it to 0 it prints 139 times. It looks like emWin just stops working after ~20 ms. Any clues, suggestions, or hints?EDIT: I am using the STM32F769-Discovery kit with a 30-day evaluation version of IAR.
Kindly share me the library (preferably written with cubeMx32 APIs) written for Graphic LCD ST7920 if someone has it already. I am using STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller
How much maximum camera and LCD resolution supported by STM32F controller ? can you please provide calcution for the same? Also suggest suitbale LCD and Camera module part#?
Am I correct in thinking that if I can only make changes to screen widgets from within the model::tick() function?I had passed the model pointer out to the remainder of my hardware app so it could push new updated data as it happened, but even though I saw the view code run to update the widgets, after their invalidate the screen image did not change.I did see a brief flash of the updated widget as the screen was switching to another one so it looks as if the change was happening but the refresh was not.If Instead of getting the model to update the presenter/view immediately when told from the outside world I set an internal flag and then from within the model:;tick I checked the flag and called the presenter the updates worked. So it looks as if the invalidate was not taking effect unless part of the model::tick call, is this correct?
Hello, If I generate a Keil project (Blank UI, but this is not mandatory) for STM32F469I-DISCO the generated code compilation fails (691 errors ?!?). If I select STM32F429I-DISCO (the other demo board I use) everything goes and I can compile and debug my project. Am I doing something wrong ?
I want to work with Touch Screen which is support "ILI9341(LCD Driver) and stmpe811(Touch Driver IC)" these two driver.I am confusing in selection proper micro controller of stm32 which have proper space for my program. Suggest me which series is good for me in very area(programming space ,GPIO's, Price{LOW} etc.).
So i need to use a filesystem to use the qspi flash on my stm32f769 disc board and once i have all the code ready, all i get are "defined but not used" and "previously defined" errorsHow can i suppress these?
Dear Members,I tried to print string on ST7735ST7735_WriteString(0, 0, "Font_7x10, red on black, lorem ipsum dolor sit amet", Font_7x10_ST7735, ST7735_RED, ST7735_BLACK);but I got only white screen, I saw on my debug Font_7x10_ST7735 data = 0 buton the map : 0x20000010 0x08006188 0x00000008 Data RW 905 .data st7735_fonts.oWhat do I miss here ?Thanks
I downloaded the IAR IDE and installed it, selecting the time-limited license so there isn't a limit on code size.I downloaded STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.15.0 and unzipped it.I double-clicked on the Project.eww file in the STM32F769I-Discovery/Demonstrations/TouchGFX/EWARM folder.I clicked Make and everything built. I clicked Download and Debug and got this error:Fri Mar 29, 2019 14:08:45: Flash download warning: 30464212 out of 30464212 bytes from data record CODE:[0x90000000,0x91D0D8D3] will not be flashed And now my Discovery board is a paper-weight. =)Does anyone have any suggestions on why I got this error, or what to do about it? I am trying to evaluate TouchGFX and the F7 for a future line of products; I don't need all of the stuff that seems to be in this example project and in fact would prefer a much simpler startup project that just puts one button on the screen and does literally nothing else. I didn't see a TouchGFX Example, though; if anyone knows of one I would appreciate a link
Is the any plan of provide a v2.0.0 template for the STM32F469i Discovery kit board? The STM32F746G Discovery kit have a new Template with STM32CubeMx.Thanks
It is possible eliminate the strange effect at the boot time on STM32F746G-DISCO ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHeQ7fpiiZ0
Hello , I just bought STM32F429-DISC1 a few weeks ago.I did the following :Turned it ON by connecting to my laptop.installed the drivers. and updated the firmware Everything worked perfectly fine. Then I put it in a box safely because I was busy with other things. Today, after a week or so I connected it again and observed the following things::1. COM and PWR LEDs are RED (static).2. The LCD Screen is stuck and completely white.WHAT I CHECKED/Resolved ::My device is still being detected by the PC as a Flash drive.I then Compiled and Loaded a LED Toggle program to check and it's running without any error. I tried using a different Cable and PC , but the problem persists.I tried to connect external 5V and 3V Sources, but the problem persists. My firmware and drivers are up to date.So , I draw the conclusion that the only problem is with the LCD screen. Can someone guide me with any solution (As soon as possible) ? Any help shall be appreciated.
Hi, I want to access a scrollable container using Hard keys, is it possible? I have tried with doscroll virtual function by creating a subclass for scrollable container. We are using LCD with no touch option, so i have to control the scrollable container functions using Hard keys. Thanks
Hello Community,I have an STM32F7-DISCO board which I am using to prototype a smart home system. The project is graphics intensive thereby eating up the 1MB Flash memory. I studied the Demonstration project of ST and I see that the icons are programmed to the external memory available on the board via QSPI. I have tried to ensure that I do everything as the DEMO project such as defining the memory address in the scatter file, using the BSP functions for QSPI and using constant storage. When programming the hex file with ST LINK Utility the program does load but gives me a USB communication Error and error occured during program operation. The Icons are missing and checking the memory registers (from 0x90000000 there is no data on them) Is there anything that I am missing that I am supposed to do? I have extensively checked the APP note AN4760 about QSPI interface on STM32 MCUs and I cannot figure out why it is not working. The code added to scatter file is as follows:LR_QSPI 0x90000000
I am getting pixel data to the stm32. I am reaching the "end of frame flag clearing" at:stm32l4xx_hal_dcmi.c ----> HAL_DCMI_IRQHandler() ----> (line 811)__HAL_DCMI_CLEAR_FLAG(hdcmi, DCMI_FLAG_FRAMERI);I am simply checking cameraBuffer[] pixel array using SNAPSHOT and CONTINUOUS modes without success.I am working on a DCMI camera interface between the NUCLEO-L496ZG board and a MT9V024 10-bit monochrome camera sensor used in 8-bit configuration. I have successfully been able to set the MT9V024 sensor to "capture mode" to retrieve a single pulse and give me 8 bits of data (using MT9V024 D2 through D10 and skipping two LSB pins B0 and B1). This will omit the two LSB data, but keep the upper eight bits. The MT9V024 is using 752x480 8-bit parallel frames, which use the HAL_DCMI_ConfigCROP() function in order to reduce the size of the image to 376x240. I set HAL_DCMI_Start_DMA(WIDTH*HEIGHT/4) since there are 32-bit words for DMA and 8-bits per pixel, so 4 pixels per word. I included the
I try to use my STM32F429 Discovery Kit with: Touch Gfx and Keil uVision.I’m able to create a program with STM32CubeMX ( follow this guide:https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021620431-Configuring-STM32F429I-DISCO )but I have some problem at the linking phase during the builder.
I want to use OV5640 camera,but I don't know how to config F429 dcmi using STM32CubMx.Can you sent me a sample ? thanksEmail: star2002jn@163.com
Smaller images work now but when I try full screen images, I get a hard fault. I have an STM32F769I talking OK from SDRAM via LTDC and DSI to a RAMless display (ILI9806E). I'm trying to implement multiple buffers to allow writing to one whilst another is displaying to prevent the display breaking up. What I can't work out is which layer this multiple buffering should be carried out on or whether it even matters (0 or 1).Another area of confusion is with HAL_DMA2D_ConfigLayer and whether the layer this is referring to is the same as the layer I have activated with __HAL_LTDC_LAYER_ENABLE or are they independent? I thought I had is sussed when I implemented 3 buffers in separate SDRAM banks such that 1 was displaying via the LTDC CFBAR register, 1 was being filled by the application and the final buffer was copied from the 'active' one just before it is switched in the HAL_LTDC_LineEventCallback so it is ready to become the new active application buffer. As it happens I get incomplete filling of the buffers somehow!!I can't find enough detail in any of the examples
Hello, I created a project from:STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.23.0\Projects\STM32F429I-Discovery\Applications\STemWin\STemWin_HelloWorldproject for my target hardware, but I got following issue showing as photo below. From the photo you can see that the screen can not display from x 0, actual it start from 30th pixel of x. I have checked the configuration for LCD_LL_LayerInit() but it looks all good, please check attached LCDConf_stm32f429i_disco_MB1075.cthis issue confused me a few days but have no idea about why it happens, I created another project with STM32CubeMX at the same time and screen working well with out STemWin and SDRAM, so I guess the hardware should be OK. Can somebody help me? thanks in advance.ps. the photo of screen working well without STemWinThe second question is about how to share SDRAM with STemWin, it looks like it used all SDRAM by itself and I hope can share at least 1M bytes for another applications in the project. also can not found how many SDRAM has been used by ST
