Hello, 1) Is it posible to scroll text in ScrollableContainer using hardware buttons?I only found doScroll function to call it when the button is pressed, but it is private.2) I need to scroll like 10-15 lines of texts and I need an opportunity to change text sometimes. What widgets I should use?Should I create a custom container for every line or use List layout.I need something similar to TouchGFX ListLayout Example, but without icons and buttonsHow could I change text in lines?Anton
Hello, i'm trying to bring up a custom board using STM324F29BI and I'm having problems on on the Touchgfx task.I used CubeMX to generate a base code for my board and everything seems fine on the BSP part. For some reason, when I try to use touchgfx::HAL::getInstance()->taskEntry(), the code gets stuck on Default_Handler.I did tried to increase the stack size for the TouchGFX task but I get the same result.Any ideas where should I look? Thanks!
Given the separate older CubeMX and IDE etc are no longer available and the dialogue etc are different it is not easy to follow in the new IDE where to configure what so please can anyone setout the steps? I have 32f746gdiscovery and Nucleo 32f767ZI boards both of which are selectable in the newer IDE. also where is the GUIBuilder now?

I Have STM32F429ZI board which is working well with its inbuilt LCD board. I want to integrate my new LCD board from 3rd party. But when I connected the pins correctly and I turn on the board , the LCD board returns no response even the backlight is not ON..My LCD board is 3.5 Inch with ILI9488 driver.I have checked the connection and continuity no short in the connection. Anyone, please help me resolve this issue
How to use SDRAM instead of SRAM memory in STM32F429I-Eval board as the touchgfx generated files need more memory , IAR 7.4 IDE is used.
I am using few custom containers in all the screens I created. I want to make interaction that when i touch one custom container it should take me to that particular screen. But there is no option showing in Trigger. How can i make interaction if the screens are having only custom containers without any buttons or others. Could you please help me out here?ThanksYamuna K

I am new to coding in touchgfx. i am using touchgfx 4.10.0 version and microsoft visual studio 2019. Depends on version, is there any difference in coding method?I followed one button example, which was already available in touchgfx examples. I developed the same example and generated the code. There was some changes in coding, when i compared with the code of that example. Could you please guide me here? Thanks Yamuna K
Hello everyone,I'm trying to make a basic camera using 5MP camera sensor and STM32H743VI (OpenMV-H7). But as I was reading through datasheet, I realized it got only 2MB of RAM. As a result I cannot wait for whole image to come to DMA/RAM and then tranfer it to memory card, I have to transfer it row by row. So does anyone has any idea about how to do that? Or any other solution to store image data captured by 5MP image sensor to SD-Card using STM32H743VI?Thanks,Tejas
Dear Members,I got this error: #18: expected a ")" on this line :LCD_SendCommand(lcd_addr, 0b00110000);")" is already there, what's the issue ??Thanks
There is a new feature in CubeMX, the GFXSimulator. If I import settings the configuration then gets populated with the Simulator settings. Seems backwards, and produces Clock errors.I copied the Configuration to the simulator settings. Is the following correct for the STM32F746-Discovery Board? Thanks
I created a project based on STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.15.0, using the STM32746G-Discovery project. I have my own hardware using STM32F767 with external SDRAM at 16bit bus, and Nor flash via QSPI. My hardware has a 10 inches LCD with 24bpp RGB interface and a resolution of 1024x600. The busclock is running at 200MHz, SDRAM clock is 100MHz, QSPI clock is 100MHz, and LCD pixel clock is 50MHz.So far I am able to show big BMP and PNG images comming from internal or external flash. My aplication is a configuration menu with big BMPs in background and some buttons, checkbox, and text on top. Using the touch I can navigate within different screens. If I configure LCDConf to use GUICC_M565 and GUIDRV_LIN_16 everything works fine, and the images are changed properly. If I change the LCDConf to use a higher resolution GUICC_M888 and GUIDRV_LIN_24, All screens flickers. If none image is update the flicker is minimum but if I touch any button or checkbox the complete screen flickers a lot.I have looked in
when the tools STM32CubeIDE and TouchGFX for STM32F429DISC1 will be completly functionnal ? today a lot of compile error and doesn't work (white display)I have to choose new processor for new development.
Posted on January 12, 2018 at 03:14I've just purchased an STM32F469 Discovery development board. I've got the latest version of STM32Cube and able to build and run various examples on the board. What I'm not finding is some decent documentation for the BSP drivers. There is of course the STM32469I-Discovery_BSP_User_Manual.chm located in Drivers\BSP\STM32469I-Discovery\ but this is pretty basic Doxygen documentation generated from the headers and not really a 'how to use' document.Does any 'how to' document exist for the BSP drivers? I would love a document that explains, for example, the basic initialization steps necessary to use the LCD screen on the board. Just some basic explanations of how to initialize like 'first call BSP_LCD_Init(), then call BSP_LCD_LayerDefaultInit(), etc'.Anyone know if a document like this exist? Googling is turning up nothing.#stm32 #lcd #stm32f469 #bsp
Hi,I'm using touch GFX designer 4.10 to make a simple application on the STM32F429 discovery.I opened Touch GFX designer, I create my first application based on the STM32F429 discovery, I try to run on simulator, on target and generate the code ==> it works fine.I opened the code with Keil V5.15 and then i got the problem on touch gfx, I can't any more update my touch gfx project because there is "error during code generation"Post Generate ErrorError during code generationI tried to close Keil , restart Touch GFX ... but still not working ? why ?and how to get it work ?Thx
Hi, I have a problem redrawing the screen after changing the content. I am using FreeRTOS and TouchGFX runs in one task, and the modifications runs from a different task. The constructor of the screen adds all drawables to the screen object. But they are not visible yet, as the content is not yet defined. The content are configured later from a different task, but to get the screen redrawn I have to make some workarounds. E.g. if I call the updateAngles() method of a single TextureMapper object, the screen normally redraws perfectly like this:But sometimes only the half of the widgets are redrawn like this:And when calling the updateAngles() again, the other half are redrawn:Odd. Do I have a problem with two different frame buffers? Should I do something special to redraw a screen after modifications? Is it wrong to update the screen from a different task? (The screen object are made globally accessable bu using a pointer to the object, assigned in the screen Presenter object constructo
I have to try used the scroll wheel item in my design.I set the Item Template and set number of items to 7, but the code of viewbase.hpp always 4 and viewbase.cpp is 7.Code is like below..hpp : touchgfx::ScrollWheel scrollWheelFile; touchgfx::DrawableListItems<WheelListFile, 4> scrollWheelFileListItems;.cpp :scrollWheelFile.setNumberOfItems(7);How to fix this bug? Thanks.
After the installation of TouchGFX there are no Application Tempalates available. I want to use the STM32F469 Disco Board. How do I get the template and how to integrate?
HiI have som problems using ORIENTATION_PORTRAIT. I got an display physically in landscape orientation, but optionally used in portrait orientation.Texts and lines works fine but images are not rotated automatically. :(But I am surprised that images using the touchgfx::Image class does not rotate automatically. Therefore I have tried to use the TextureMapper instead. When used in portrait mode The TextureMapper works fine, rotating and scaling works perfect. But in Portrait orientation it seems only to work if the image area and/or the bitmap size are square. If e.g. the bitmap size is 96*192 pixels in an area at 96*192 the image is like interlaced in either rotation and scale. The center icon is square. The others are 192x96.The left and center icon are rotated 60° and the right one is rotated 270°Is this a bug, or am I used the TouchGFX wrongly?I am constructing the screens programmically as the are too dynamic to use the designer. But I am using the Designer for loading the imag
HiI have followed this guide for the F7 to help setup an equivalent environment for the 32F469IDISCOVERY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOs2LYO7wSAHowever I don't know which pin to select for the LCD reset and which protocol option to use:Can anyone please advice?ThanksRobin
I am currently trying to configure a STM32F769I board with TouchGFX and STM32CubeIDE. I have followed all tutorials listed on this forum, however I seem to still be having some issues. I have previously configured a working .ioc file in CubeMX for this board, and have copied that configuration over to CubeMX nested in the CubeIDE application. I have my code compiling, but nothing has been displayed to the LCD. Some things that I have found:1. It doesn’t seem like the QSPI is working correctly (ie. “QSPI? is not listed in the Build Analyzer under Memory Regions or Memory Details). At first I thought that the images were not being displayed because they have not been stored in memory correctly, but the assets that I am using are stored under “Flash?.2. I’ve tried following what was mentioned in another post for configuring the QSPI for STM32F769I, but I don’t know how to have those changes reflected in CubeIDE.If you have any suggestions or fixes for these problems, they woul
I am considering using the TouchGFX ecosystem for embedded touchscreen operation. From the TouchGFX website I understand that that it is written in C++. I'm programming in C and want to know if it is possible for TouxhGFX widgets to pass data to and from C functions?ThanksGreg
