Hello,Do you know if there is a simple way to make touchGFX draw a circle during a few ms on each touch screen press ?best regards
Hi,Now My Platform setup is as following, custom boardtouchgfx 4.10.0IAR 8I'm trying to use snapshot widget in my project. I did the following configuration,In setFramebufferAddress function, set Animation storage to true.create a snapshot widget objectset the object position by setPosition() function, and Add the object to the screen.in a proper position, makeSnapshot to animation storage. Now, these setup works fine in simulator. But when I tested it on my custom board with IAR, snapshot was occurred indeed, because 'fbCopy' variable got correct address, but the content of the memory is wrong, did anyone meet the same situation before and help to fix it?Best Regards! Thanks.
Hi,I'm working with touchgfx on an STM32F769I board and I'm facing a problem where some times the DMA2D throws a transfer error (DMA2D_ISR_TEIF) during the running of my application. In the touchgfx library files (STM32F7HAL_DSI.cpp) I see that the DMA2DIRQHandler signals a DMA interrupt only when it gets a Transfer Complete Interrupt and the Transfer Error case is not handled at all. Does anyone know why the transfer error could be happening and how to handle it? If I call signalDMAInterrupt() even when I get a transfer error will the application have a glitch and continue normally? Right now, since I don't handle it the whole system freezes. Thanks in advance!Nikil
Recently I started programming on STM32 board for better understanding I am using Direct register access Method.I tried programming but Nothing is displaying IN LCD.Can I get a program(without cubeMX) only for Writing one character on LCD 16x2.
Hi @Martin KJELDSEN !You usually support me with TouchGFX, this must be a simple one for you but I can't find the solution in the community.I'm having an issue trying to update my project from TouchGFX 4.9.6 to 4.10. I get the build error:undefined reference to `touchgfx::HAL::copyFBRegionToMemory(touchgfx::Rect, unsigned short*, unsigned long)'I think it is because I miss the function copyFBRegionToMemory(touchgfx::Rect, unsigned short*, unsigned long) in \touchgfx\touchgfx\framework\source\touchgfx\hal\HAL.cpp. Where can I find the latest version of source code to update?
hi ST Community,in the pic below, there's a problem with the file.h indeed I've included the file as shown.can someone give me a solution? or maybe you've seen this before. Thanks
Hi Team,We are going to use this STM32F446xC/E micro-controller in our one of the consumer product. I need below information for the design. Can you provide us a reference schematic for the sameNeed any bridge IC while we connect IPS display to this MPUThere are camera and LCD interface with MPU. So is there any requirement of external memory? what size? Any standard part do you have?
i found this site http://andybrown.me.uk/2012/06/05/nokia-lcd-for-arduino-mega-1/I wanna change OLED to Nokia screen lcd , it is 8080 interfaceBUT did not find a std library for it
Visual Studio 2008 can be used to compile TouchGFX Designer applications?
A typical situation is when the hardware detects a fault condition. In this case I would switch to a page where I can display an alarm icon and a short description of the fault
Not able to load any templates except the windows template.
When I run this code:void Screen1View::startSession() { Unicode::fromUTF8((const uint8_t*) "Hello world!!", longTxtBuffer, LONGTXT_SIZE); longTxt.invalidate(); } it works as expected.However, when I change it to:void Screen1View::startSession() { Unicode::fromUTF8((const uint8_t*) "Hello World!!", longTxtBuffer, LONGTXT_SIZE); longTxt.invalidate(); }I'm seeing a ? instead of W in both simulator and target.Is this a bug?
Hello,I am trying to add serial communication to the designer generated gui code. I used the blank template from TouchGFX designer for STM32F469I-disco board. Gui works fine, but I cannot manage to add my own code to it. I guess I need to edit the target/gcc/Makefile and add the files to specific locations, but I cannot find any information to where/how.Files:serial.c/serial.h // serial implementation that uses LL drivers and FreeRTOS /* Snippet from serial.h */ #include "FreeRTOS.h" #include "task.h" #include "queue.h" #include "semphr.h" #include "stm32f4xx.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_rcc.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_bus.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_cortex.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_dma.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_gpio.h" #include "stm32f4xx_ll_usart.h" #include <string.h>FreeRTOS files are already included in the generated code by TouchGFX designer. I need to add LL drivers and serial.c/.h to the project. I already tried just copying files to target/ and including th
Hello,I use stm32f429 disco board which has IS42S16400J 64Mb SDRAM,so I use SDRAM for frame buffer. Is there any opportunity to know how much SDRAM memory my application needs?and how much I use at the moment?Thank you,Anton
In my Aplication I have a big text database (nearly 1000 Text_Id) and nearly 25 languages.Sometimes I need a specific Text_Id with left Alignment and sometimes with right Alignment. Sometimes with font size 20 (big) sometimes with font size 15 (small). As I don't want to define each text fourtimes (left Alignment big, left Alignment small, right Alignment big, left Alignment small) I use Wildcards.T_ALIGN_LEFT_BIG_WILDCARD_IDT_ALIGN_LEFT_SMALL_WILDCARD_IDT_ALIGN_RIGHT_BIG_WILDCARD_IDT_ALIGN_RIGHT_SMALL_WILDCARD_IDAnd then with the function getText()(TypedText(T_HALLO).getText())I get the text for T_HALLOand put it in the textArea with the funktion void setWildcard(const Unicode::UnicodeChar* value)Unfortunately all my text in Text Resources are used directly "0". And unfortunately the font converter has not generated the Glyphs for exotic Characters like "ü" or "ț"I dont want define each exotic Character in "Typographies" because there are so many characters. Is there any other clever
I have a stm32373c-eval board. I don't have any idea that how to use graphic in it. I am working on it from 15 days.I have worked on UART. Please help me to use graphic..Thank you
I want to use 20*4 lcd . Can any one suggest me a link or guide to code ( without using I2C).Thank you in advance...
Hello everyone, I am newbie on stm32 (stm32373c-eval). I need help to use display. Can any one suggest me a link or full guide to use it.Thank you in advance....
Hi,I would like to change the example JPEG_DecodingFromFLASH_DMA to decode the JPEG file data to a frame buffer in RGB565 and then send this buffer to a 320x240 SPI TFT display. Only using the internal SRAM of the STM32H743VI. Is it possible?
I have a STM32F769I-DISCO (Discovery board with LCD board) with the OEM firmware unchanged. I removed the LCD board and plugged in my B-LCDAD-HDMI1 (MB1232) board. What should I expect to see on a monitor?I've tried three different ones and it seems there's no signal out of the B-LCDAD-HDMI1.If this is as expected, then what pre-built HEX file should I put on the DISC0 board so that I can test if my B-LCDAD-HDMI1 is defective or not?Or is there some hardware difference between the DISCO (DISC0) and DISC1 variants that must be corrected first, (explained where, please)?-Gary
I found the Graph in touchgfx-open-repository-master.How do you create a Graph that's constantly moving, so that it does what an oscilloscope does:grinning_face_with_sweat:
Counter is increment or decrement by pressing button the initial value is remain on text box and new value is overwrite on previous value. How to solve overwriting issue.
We are using STM32F769I-Eval for capturing IMAGE in jpeg format using DCMI. we are able to run In-built example of storing image in bmp format, bmp to jpeg image conversion. From our understanding,it is going through RGB565- ARGB888- RGB888 ,then bmp header with rgb888 data is stored. Now we enabled jpeg mode in DCMI.We can see CAMERA_FRAME_BUFFER filled with data in camera frame event call back function. How to store this data as jpeg in USB drive.we assume this data is in YCbCr format. It needs to be converted to other formats or store them like JPEG header and YCbCr format data.
I am running an experiment to try to see how I can improve RENDER_TIME performance. In this experiment I have two items on the screen close to each other on the screen. One is a circle who's start and end angles are changed. The other item is a text area who's value coincides with the circle's value. When they touch (even just edges) the invalidated rectangle encompasses a large area (seen by pressing F2 when running the simulator). In my handleTickEvent() function, I am updating one item in that tick event only. The next event I update the other item only. I didn't think it would redraw a large rectangle because they would be rendered at different times, but it is. I slowed it down so that it only updated every 30 ticks. I also placed a touchgfx_printf() in each item's update code to verify only one item is updated at a time. When are invalidated areas re-renedered? It appears that they aren't re-rendered at separate times but at the same time.
Dear All,I am confused with using LTDC working with ili9341 in the discovery f429.LTDC is an tft controller. so I expect there is not required and extra external controller.what is the issue?Best regards, Ras
