Hi,I'm adding camera to my custom board with TouchGFX using DCMI.I have doubts on how to put video camera in framebuffer used by TouchGFX..I've created 2 framebufferes in LTDC and the first is used by Touch. I don't know if I use the second framebuffer to camera and show the second in LCD or I use the same framebuffer for both. How I leave TouchGFX using framebuffer...Thanks.
Hello.I found several other people asking similar questions, but none of them have been resolved, so I will ask you a new question.I am developing using STM32L-Discovery.Specifically, we would like to display on the LCD mounted on this evaluation board using the HAL library. However, apparently I may not have set the LCD correctly in CubeMx.This is because an error has occurred in the initialization function of the output LCD, HAL_LCD_Init ().Specifically, TIMEOUT occurs in the following code and an error has occurred. while (__ HAL_LCD_GET_FLAG (hlcd, LCD_FLAG_RDY) == RESET) { if ((HAL_GetTick ()-tickstart)> LCD_TIMEOUT_VALUE) { hlcd-> ErrorCode = HAL_LCD_ERROR_RDY; return HAL_TIMEOUT; } }In other words, LCD_FLAG_RDY is not set regardless of how long.In CubeMx, the settings are as shown below. Can someone help me with the solution?Thank you.
Hello,i have 25 MHz HSE Clock. The DSI PLL settings are as follows: IDF 5, NDIV 80, ODF2With these settings i measure an DSI clock of 100 MHz on the DSI_CKP pin.But Cube says that the DSI clock is 200 MHz.I use a STM32F769NI device with 2 DSI data lanes.Do you have any idea?BRDaniel
Helloi'm trying to port the code shown in the webinar:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQO7zhX0e0Qto the STM32H750 disco board, because i need urgently to be able to pilot a GPIO on that board. The webinar shows the TouchGFX project genarated code, in particular on 29:54 the main.cpp is shown, which have hw_init() and touchgfx_init() functions, but in my main.cpp those functions are not there. is this because at the moment the touchGFX can't generate a CUBEMX project? any way to do that?i also tryed to generate a project starting from CUBEMX, sinche this H750eval board is present, but when i choose that board, only the MCU is shown, not the board, so i can't configure any GPIO/Led ecc on board. Thanks for any help
I refer to the source code for "Model UI Demo 1 TouchGFX".I would like to enlarge the PieChart, but I can't figure out how to do it. In the GraphView::setupScreen function I modified the values for center, height and width.// GraphView.cpp - GraphView::setupScreen pieChartX = 0; pieChartY = -16; donutX = pieChartX; donutY = 34; pieChart.setPosition(pieChartX, pieChartY, 300, 300); /* <- modified */ pieChart.setCenter(150, 150); /* <- modified */ pieChart.setPieChart(0, 0, 0, 0); pieChart.recalculatePieChart();However, the PieChart radius does not change.how to do ?//Antonello
I successfully built the touchgfx project through CUBEMX and ran it successfully on stm32F429. I want to transplant the project to stm32H750,But there's no demo. How do I manually add it to the cube project myself
How to draw a dotted rectangle while dragging to select a part of the interface?
HelloI'm working with the stm32h750 eval board and touchgfx, my GUI is ready, but now i need to conect to some hardware (relay, sensors etc). i usually work with keil, but touchgfx not generating keil project and i lost hope it will before my dead-end; so i moved to IAR, which is generated, but not working, seems to me all options for the generated project are wrong, after many attempt (some random, some *** grano salis) i was able to compile a project, but still not able to load it into board (IAR starts to load project, and keeps going forever, no error, nothing, and i waited 40 min to see if it will eventually unstuck and load the code)any advice/guide/working example to load touchGFX project from IAR?Thanks
Hello, everyone.Does touchgfx support multi-touch?Thanks in advance!
I am using LCD module 16 by 2 as 4 bit mode. i am using GPIOA - pin0 is connected to lcd dataline DB4 & so on. rs & en pin is connected to an same GPIOA at GPIO pin 4, 5, 6. the problem am facing is LCD Showing only continuous shifting cursor & getting some garbage on 1 row of lcd. i am using stm32f030 MCU.
what is Pulse ON duration for segment LCD?i dont understand itwhen i change it from 7 to 1, my com pin wave becomes goodafter change pulse duration to 1

If I generate a slider in a screen in the Designer 4.10.0, I get the additional interaction selections like "Slider value changed" etc. If I generate a scrollable container or a scroll wheel, I get no such possibility to react to changes. How can I add appropriate interactions in this case?
https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205074561-Connecting-the-UI-to-your-systemThe code in the article is checking if the temperature is changed in the Model::tick, if changed then notify.I prefer to notify all values (changed or not) in Model::tick and then check if values changes in Views i.e. (oldvalue != newvalue), is that good idea or not?
Hi all, I deployed a gitlab-runner for my touchgfx repository on linux, it will build (compile) the project once I update my commit. However I can't find the command-line tools which used to generated source code ( xxxViewBase.hpp, xxxViewBase.cpp ) , any hints will be appreciated, thanks!!!
Diving a bit deeper into the whole model/presener/view thing I think I got far enough to try and have a task update a counter on the screen.I'm in the process of doing this but I'm confused about the 'wildcard buffer' in TouchGFX designer.Following the text of https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/207015345-Using-texts-and-fonts under the 'Wildcard' section, this is shown: TextAreaWithOneWildcard txt; Unicode::UnicodeChar txtBuffer[10];So basically this creates the text area AND the buffer. If I use the Designer to do this - isn't this code generated for me somewhere?more specifically in the screen1View.hpp (yes I created a new screen for my application)Furthermore the manual page states that I should write this: txt.setTypedText(TypedText(T_TEMPERATURE_READOUT)); txt.setXY(10, 20); txt.setColor(Color::getColorFrom24BitRGB(0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF)) txt.setWildcard(txtBuffer); add(txt); txt.setTypedText(TypedText(T_TEMPERATURE_READOUT)); txt.setXY(10, 20); txt.setColor(Color::getC
Hi, I am trying to draw a sine wave, but just confused that how to specify the width and height, particularly for the setRange() functions, the graphic it draws are not I expected, sometime too small, sometime draw nothing. My Demo Screen is 800 * 480 (PC UI), I want to draw a sine wave graphic that the height is 240 and its width is 800.The attachment is my source code, thanks!!!
I'm using the stm32H750 eval board, in my project i'm showing the date, with this piece of code:Unicode::snprintf(mainScreenDateMonthTextBuffer, MAINSCREENDATEMONTHTEXT_SIZE, "%s", L"Gen");i'm printing on screen Gen for Genuary. That works fine on simulator, but on board only "G" is shown...any idea why this happens? Thanks
I not found graphic part for stm32h743i & h750 in cubemx. Why??This microcontrollers don't support touchgfx??how I will be using touchgfx in my h743 board??In the meantime the stm32h743i board is my own design and construction.Thank you for your guidance.
I am using swipe container with 5 pages and want to generate an event each time the swipe container changes from one page to another. Inside this callback I will get the current page displayed and update the values showed in the page controls.
I want to implement a function: after the mouse click on the curve to be able to drag the curve until the mouse is released
I want to get 100 for other purposes by code.
Hi I am new in ST microcontrollers, I'm working with NXP microcontroller (LPC54018) and I would like migrate our project to ST microcontroller. The first reason is the use of TouchGFX designer, the second one is when it needs to access to SDRAM, sometimes it get slowly. To migrate the project we need to know if this environment could do better the use of SDRAM driver. The questions are:*Is there a posible that it won't happened(sometimes is visible the image painting process) with this micro?(using TouchGFX designer)*The use of SDRAM is performed automatically? If not, are there some examples about use of SDRAM?
Hello,i'm using DMA2D to fill a part of my frame buffer with a single color. Environnement is STM32H753, LTDC controller, EVAL2 board with LCD screen.Until now I was using ARGB8888 format (so both input and output formats were identical in DMA2D setting) but now I switched to L8 format.I don't understand why there is no "L8" output color format ? I just want the DMA to copy the L8 color index to the buffer in memory, I actually don't need any conversion, nor CLUT. There is probably something I didn't understand in the DMA2D behaviour.Thank you
