I am having an issue with transitions between screens. I’m using a cover transition but as soon as the transition starts the background turns to noise however the new screen covers it gradually as expected. The program is running from QSPI flash on a stm32h750 dev board with a LCD connected to the FMC. The double frame buffers resides in the internal AXI sram.I have tried adding an animation buffer also in the AXI sram, but it had no effect.Has anyone had corrupted background like this or can recommend something I should check?
I sucessfuly exported texts.xml with translations.rbbut when I try to import .xlsx back to .xml. I get the error sheet Typography not found!?> translations.rb import texts.xlsx texts.xml sheet 'Typography' not found An error occurred during translations import!Bellow are the files used
I am using STM32H745 with 16bit SDRAM and QSPI nor flash for images and TouchGFX for developing the screens. Am using 800x480 resolution.I have developed some sample screens which look fine when 565 color mode is configured in LTDC and DMA2D and TouchGFX. But when I configure the application to use 888 color mode I see some texts not displaying properly. Please see attached images. Also if you see the slider in the image it leaves a trail when moved till end and back. I think some screen refreshing issue is present in 888 color mode.What could be the issue here. Is this due to bandwidth issues with SDRAM / LTDCLCD is running at 29MHz as per calculation and SDRAM is runnining at 100MHzI tried reducing the LCD clock or also increasing the clock but issue persists. I am tryin to create a gui project with a hardware interface to the LEDs and pushbuttons on a DISC1 evaluation board. The .ioc file isn't appearing to allow me to configure the project IO interrupts etc.Is there an option that I need to confugure within the cube IDE?
Is it possible to use TouchGFX to visualize an FFT algorithm from the Nucleo STM32H7A3 144 board? Im new and dont know if its possible to connect a GUI from this board to a monitor via TouchGFX.Thanks
I using dynamic graph, I set 100 data points. Since a graph reset, the graph change scale by itself. I show it on the video:https://photos.app.goo.gl/oJ1T5MdVSnxKGcgP8
I'm using touchGFX 4.20.0. In the file JPG the point wher the axis change about after 6800 point.
Hello, I have been trying for 2 days to read my hardware button from the STM32F746G board and change the color on the display. Unfortunately, all tutorials are for older versions where the file ButtonController.hpp still exists, but in TouchGFX 4.21.1 this file is not generated. The button is set up as BTN_USER with a pull-down in Cube MX. In the .touchgfx file, I have added"PhysicalButtons": [ { "Key": 1, "Name": "BTN_USER" } ], I also cannot manually call Screen1ViewBase::handleKeyEvent(uint8_t key) because I always get include errors. It can't be that difficult to read a physical button. Screen1ViewBase.cpp: void Screen1ViewBase::handleKeyEvent(uint8_t key){if(1 == key) { //Interaction1 //When hardware button 1 clicked change color of box1 //Set RGB color R:255, G:0, B:0 on box1 box1.setColor(touchgfx::Color::getColorFromRGB(255, 0, 0)); box1.invalidate();
Frequently entering and exiting a screen with Graph in it, touchgfx will end up frozen on image2's screen and not fully loaded into image1's state.Program run process: xxxScreenViewbase::xxxScreenViewbase ---> xxxScreenView::xxxScreenView ---> xxxScreenPresenter::activate -x-> handleTickEvent --> Load Data to GraphAfter the program runs to xxxScreenPresenter::ctivate no longer have any action.Chip : STM32F29BIDataPoint Number : 420.FrontendHeap::getInstance()::instance Address : 0x2002a334FrontendHeap::getInstance()::instance Size : 20724 ByteFreeRTOS : osThreadDef(touchgfxTask, Task_touchGFX, osPriorityNormal, 0, 0x4000);
to more explainI installed TouchGFX 4.20.0, I developed a simple interface that has two buttons just for a very simple test, I sent this program to the STM32F769I DISCOVERY KIT board, everything goes well, I received the message Run Target DONE, the interface was well displayed on the map screen. but after a few clicks on the two buttons, the interface is blocked, I RESTART I repeat and the problem remains the same, I change the TouchGFX version to version 4.16.0, but the problem is the same.
I have a touch screen application that I am having issues with. The touch screen works. The issue is that if I press and hold the buttons on my screen the image will toggle between touched/not touched. I am sure I must have something configured incorrectly, but I am not sure where to look. If I slide my finger from one button to another button the screen registers that as a touch as well. When I test using my development board if I slide my finger off of the button and back on no additional touch evens are registered. Why would my screen lose track of the touched/pressed status?My touch controller is a ST1633 and I currently have the touch screen to respond via interrupt not polling.
Hi ST,Currently I'm working on a project where I would like to use a camera and project the image on the LCD of the discovery board. Now I know that the B-CAMS-OMV should be interfaceable with every STM32 MCU, but I can't seem to get it to work. I tried the BSP project that came with the STM32F746G-DISCO and added the 'Camera_demo' function from camera.c to the main.c file. Because the B-CAMS-OMV is equipped with the ov5640 sensor, I changed the I2C address to 0x78 and replaced all the instances of ov9655 with ov5640. This however, does not work. Any chance someone could point me in the right direction?Thanks in advance.
I want to use the touchgfx video widget for my STM32H743II custom board.The custom board has completed image upload verification with Touchgfx.I set it according to the Touchgfx video decoding.I tried to execute it, but an error occurs.A hard fault error occurs before entering the main loop.I use the version below.IAR 8.32.1Touchgfx 4.20.0CubeMx 6.6.0Is the video widget function available on touchgfx with STM32H743II MCU?
Is it necessary to use the X-CUBE-DISPLAY package in CubeMX anyway?

Hello, I want to ask why simulator turn off when I call function in other class like that:
Hi, how can i use the snprintf for float value in touchgfx? I want to display the data from the sensor in touchgfx lcd but in float
Hi,I am trying to use keyboard widget in TouchGfx 4.21. I have global char *name; variable. After a lot of trial, I couldn't find a way to copy the value returned by keyboard.getBuffer() to my global variable. I even tried to convert to UTF-8 first, but no success.Briefly, I just want to store the value returned by keyboard.getBuffer() to my global variable. Can somebody help please?Thanks
created simple app on 4.21.1 works on simulator, run target thinks it works ,flashes part but part fails.How to fix??
I created a circle by clicking "shapes -> circle". Defining this circle by telling the "Start & End Angle" I get a widget which has the outlines going from the corner described by the start angle, via the center of the circle, to the corner defined by the end angle. In other words I got a circle which is cut out by a "V". I need a "segment of circle". This would be possible if the outline is going directly from one corner to the other, skipping the point between (the center of the circle). I am missing the possibility of deleting one point of this widget like it is possible for free "shapes". Is there another way which I have not noticed?
I am working with one other engineer on a project. He will send me his entire directory where the project files are stored. I copy those files into identically named directory structure on my computer so I don't need to change the include paths. Sometimes I am able to compile them, sometimes I get hundreds of compile errors. Eventually, the IDE will just compile them correctly. I have no idea what is changing or why it suddenly works. I am thinking that the way we are sharing files causes something to think it is compiled correctly and is current, but it isn't and I get errors and eventually I tinker with it enough that it decides it needs to recompile the file that isn't working. Cleaning, refreshing, update with modified files doesn't work.Here's the tail end of the errors (I didn't think every needed to see all 200; it seems to be mostly if not exclusive the HAL includes from what I can tell)c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.11.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-to
Hello,For my project I need to transfer 600x600x10b image from DCMI to SRAM.I already got DCMI part working with all HSYNC / VSYNC interrupts showing correct numbers LL_AHB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_DCMI_PSSI); NVIC_SetPriority(DCMI_PSSI_IRQn, NVIC_EncodePriority(prioritygroup, 4, 0)); NVIC_EnableIRQ(DCMI_PSSI_IRQn); DCMI->IER =DCMI_IER_OVR_IE|DCMI_IER_VSYNC_IE|DCMI_IER_LINE_IE; DCMI->CR =DCMI_CR_ENABLE + (0x01<<10); //10bitAfter this, I need to configure DMA. Now we get into trouble, because we need do more than 0xFFFF transfers. My understanding wthis is why we have lists.Since we need 600x600 at half word, in reality we would need only half transfers, so we have 180.000 Transfers. I will split it in my lists into 3 chunks655366553648928(note, at the moment, I fill all of my array with 0xAAAA data, and I set only small portion of DATA to be transferred in the list, so I could figure out how GDMA1 is working, after I confirm with debugger data was overwr
In STM32F429ZI datasheet (DocID024030 Rev 10), in the beginning (page 1) it says:"LCD-TFT controller with fully programmable resolution (total width up to 4096 pixels, total height up to 2048 lines and pixel clock up to 83 MHz)". But in functional overview LTDC chapter (page 24) and STM32F4 reference manual (RM0090 Rev 19) LTDC chapter (page 480), they say LTDC support resolution can only up to XGA (1024x768) resolution. Which one shall I believe, 4096x2048 or 1024x768?By the way, what is XGA resolution? Does it simply means 1024x768 pixels? If a LCD says it supports XGA resolution, does it mean this LCD has 1024x768 pixels?
Hello,I came to this issue, when I copied a TextArea (with one wildcard) from screen A to screen B. After code generation there is no corresponding c++ code for touchgfx::TypedText(...) generated. The error report is: error: 'T___SINGLEUSE_2HH2' was not declared in this scope; did you mean 'T___SINGLEUSE_TO32'? 117 | Unicode::snprintf(FenceNum_FrontBuffer, FENCENUM_FRONT_SIZE, "%s", touchgfx::TypedText(T___SINGLEUSE_2HH2).getText()); | ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | T___SINGLEUSE_TO32If I just create new textArea on screen B, there is no such problem. If I reopen the Designer project, I will find, the wildcard ID is missing. I need to create wildcard ID again. Then recompile the project, there is no error again.PS: I didn't copy the TextArea in the same screen.
