Hi,I'm using a STM32L031. When I'm entering the low power sleep mode und an interrupt occurs i'm getting a hard fault. The programm counter from the stack frame has ether the value 0x00000000 or is pointing at the __ISB after the __WFI - depending on the version i'm using. At the beginning i was using Enter_LP_Sleep1() getting 0x00000000. Then i found a blog discussion where they described the entering procedure of version Enter_LP_Sleep2(). This worked for my project and i thought the problem was solved. Unfortunately every now and then i got the problem with the hard fault again (depending on temperature?!). Now I stripped the code down to the following where i always get the hard fault.int main(void){ FLASH->ACR |= FLASH_ACR_PRFTEN; RCC->APB2ENR |= RCC_APB2ENR_SYSCFGEN; RCC->APB1ENR |= RCC_APB1ENR_PWREN; RCC->APB1SMENR = 0; RCC->APB2SMENR = 0; RCC->APB2SMENR |= RCC_APB2SMENR_TIM22SMEN; RCC->APB1SMENR |= RCC_APB1SMENR_PWRSMEN; RCC->APB2SMENR |= RCC_AP
Hello. I am looking for an example or help, how i can receive data from stm32 at 100kHz with Python via com port ? ADC samples at around 100Khz and streams the data i am not sure how to receive it correctly at this high speed. Thanks a lot
Hello everyone, I’ve recently acquired two STM32H747I-DISCO boards to experiment with USB High-Speed host functionality, specifically using the ux_host_hub_hid_msc example (v3.3.0) provided in the STM32CubeIDE. My goal is to test the Mass Storage Class (MSC) capability, specifically writing a file to a USB flash drive. However, after flashing the example to either board, the USB device is not detected when I insert the pen drive, and LED7 on the DISCO board turns on immediately. According to the reference manual, LED7 should light up green when the ULPI PHY detects a USB connection and the board is acting as a host. In my case, this LED turns on even before connecting any USB device. Also, this function writes a pin that is not set in the FW (GPIO Pin 5 Port H): /** * @brief Drive VBUS. * state : VBUS state * This parameter can be one of the these values: * 1 : VBUS Active * 0 : VBUS Inactive * @retval Status */ void USBH_DriverVBUS(uint8_t state) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */ /* USER
Here is the board images I want to access onbord EMMC using usb cable on to my laptop to uplode some file in 4-GB EMMC storage.Kindly share step to access EMMC.
Hello world :)Trying to upgrade firmware on series of STLINK-V3MODS on FreeBSD, downloaded 3.16.9 package from [1], after running:java -jar STLinkUpgrade.jarI got error message "Platform not supported (freebsd)".Would it be possible to add support for FreeBSD? All should work as on Linux or macOS except serial port names here are /dev/cuaU0, /dev/cuaU1, etc. Ah I notices there are some dynamic libraries involved but these can be cross-compiled easily too let me know if you need support :)Thanks :)Tomek[1] https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-link007.html
Hello,I have a Stm32h735g-dk card. I did some work and then the connection was broken. I don't know exactly why it happened later, but I didn't play with the pins, I just threw code with stlink via jumpers and stm32cube ide. Now every time I want to run or debug or connect with stm32programmer, I get a stm32 target not found warning. Currently JP1 is plugged in and stlink is plugged in in the J7 power selection, there is nothing else plugged in. When I connect with STM32CubeProgrammer, the target voltage appears zero, I tried to proceed from here. However, I was not successful. Let me give you the details I saw. When I connect the board from the stlink section with microusb, the power led flashes twice and then stays lit in green. The red led lights up as it is. The white light on the screen flashes in the same way as the led. Also, as you can see in the photo below, it opens with a FAIL.TXT file. when I deleted it, it did not get better. the message written in the file is as follows;T

hi, i am trying to attach a Touch Sensor header file with touchGFX STM32TouchController.cpp file but it's showing error .the Touch_Sensor.h & Touch_Sensor.c file are include project file and further included via path location ( Properties ->General -> path.).
Hi, I´m trying to implement ESD protection to a custom board, I found recommendations for this part number (USBLC6-2SC6), which clamping voltage is as follows Look at VCL Clamping Voltage there are 12V and 17 V Then the USB pins of my MCU accept a maximum voltage of 5.5V so the 12V and 17V clamping voltage are not below maximum voltage of the USB pins of my MCU, doesn´t this clamping voltage still damages my MCU? and why this part number is recommeded for the ESD USB application??And finally why In the imagen below is shows D+in and D+out as well as D-in and D-out ? It is the same line or not? How should I connect data lines to the IC? Hope you can help me it´s my first USB implementation using ESD, thanks for read!
Split from this thread. i've had the same issue. Set the internal pull-up on Rx pin and pull-down on Tx pin.
Hi everyone! I designed the board shown in the attached picture. It’s built around an STM32H745 microcontroller, along with crystal oscillators, a DAC, an EEPROM, and an NE555 that generates a reset signal when a button is pressed long enough. After assembling the board, I noticed that it draws an unusually high current (over 800 mA). The power supply goes into compliance and reduces the voltage, while the microcontroller itself becomes very hot to the touch. I noticed that the current rises with time to the compliance and over.To troubleshoot, I removed all external components (oscillators, DAC, EEPROM, transistors, and NE555), leaving only the microcontroller, but the excessive current consumption persists. I’ve checked carefully and I’m quite confident there are no shorts on the board. When I connect via ST-Link using STM32CubeProgrammer, the tool successfully detects and identifies the MCU. However, within a few seconds, the connection drops because
Hi Team,I have created folder for header file and it's path also included in the compiler path but it's grayed out.but I'm getting this error.Could you help me on this one.
Hello Team,I'm using STM32H573I-DK for our application. I'm using MCUBoot application on Zephyr project directory to setup a secure boot and firmware update on this DK.I created a RSA key ( cd zephyrproject\\bootloader\\mcuboot, python ./scripts/imgtool.py keygen -k mykey.pem -t rsa-2048 ). I'm using this key in prj.conf of both the bootloader and application.In Application part I modified device tree to add partition to the flash memory. I'll share conf file, editted DTS below. chosen { zephyr,console = &usart1; zephyr,shell-uart = &usart1; zephyr,sram = &sram1; zephyr,flash = &flash0; zephyr,code-partition = &slot0_area; zephyr,canbus = &fdcan1; zephyr,display = &st7789v; };&flash0 { partitions {
There are a bunch of CVEs for ThreadX, NetX, and USBX dealing with remote code execution in versions below 6.2.1 (with some pretty scary vulnerability scores) and fixed in 6.3.The distribution in the STM32Cube system is 6.2.0 today, and I was wondering if the ThreadX support people have the latest distribution integration on their stack?Thanks,Andrei
Hello,I am designing a board with a STM32F446 connected to an IS42S16160H SDRAM through the FMC interface.Could you please provide ST’s official recommendations regarding the use of series resistors on FMC lines?Typical values (22–33 Ω)?Any ST guideline or application note available?Thanks,Rihem

I am trying to get USB High Speed running on my board, In the USB Core Soft Reset function, my code keeps on getting stuck in the do while loop that I have shown below. I have went through all the forum posts related to this and there has been no solution that has resolved this issue. The microcontroller series on this board is STM32U5A5RJT6. I would appreciate any guidance. Thank you! /* Core Soft Reset */ USBx->GRSTCTL |= USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_CSRST; do { count++; if (count > HAL_USB_TIMEOUT) { return HAL_TIMEOUT; } } while ((USBx->GRSTCTL & USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_CSRST) == USB_OTG_GRSTCTL_CSRST); return HAL_OK; }
I am trying to communicate to a e-paper display of waveshare 1.54inch v2 with B-WL5M-subg1. I have used the program file the company has provided but there is no respone in the module. I have tried using esp32 and the module works fine with it. both esp32and stm32 uses same program file while checking with logic analyzer both mcu show similar data format. But why isnt it working with stm32. I have attached the program for referense if there is any suggestions or solutions I would like to know.
The goal of my project is to turn on an LED on the recieving side through CAN. Both my reciever and transmitter have the transciever circuit. Both are Nucleo boards, TX: F303RE, RX: F446RE. The data i am sending through is 16-bit, but as long as my reciever is not in reset copnstantly (as in me holding the reset button when the program is running), the transmitted and recieved data is not correct, its far to short. The data is the same on TX and RX, but wrong. But when i hold reset on the reciever the data that comes through looks right. I cant figure out what the problem is, i have measured the connections on the transcievers a million times, measured the RX, TX pin, CAN_H and L and always come back to the same issue. I am programming the boards in Cube_IDE. The pictures below are of the boards and the signals i recieve. Please help. I dont see how this could be a hardware problem but maybe I missed something, i am still a begginer. The reciever board is part
My configuration:[VERSION]: MCSDK 6.3.2[TOOL]: MC Workbench, ST MOTOR PilotI am using the HSO on a custom board with an STSPIN32G4 at 15 kHz.The basic algorithm here should be the reciprocal of the bus voltage, using LPF filtering for result. So the code should be modified as follows. Please help me confirm whether my understanding is incorrect or if there is indeed an error here?
Hi,I am currently making a custom pcb that includes an stlink-v3mods in order to program two stm32's.I am encountering a problem in which the stlink keeps failing and drawing a large amount of current. I am struggling to understand why this could be?The stlink is powered through its usb port and a switch is used to swap the clock line between the two mcus in order to select which one to program. Both stm32s are on a separate pcb which can be plugged and unplugged from the main pcb (which contains the stlink).I have attached my schematic regarding the stlink.Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated,Thanks.
Dear ST,I'm developing a project to send ADC data via USB high-speed to an external device (PC) with STM32H7S78-DK. I'm trying to establish communication via USB, but I'm having trouble with the CDC_Transmit_HS function, which always returns busy. Additionally, the callback CDC_TransmitCplt_HS() is never called, and the USBD_CDC_DataIn() function is not invoked. The hcdc->TxState = 0 is always different from 0. I don't understand why it is happening.The USB init, I think it is ok, because I can identify it at an external computer with the correct description and 480 Mbit/s of USB High speed.These are my configurations of USB:The Global Interrupt for USB is also available.This is the clock configuration: This is my code at the main, I just developed a code to send "hello" every second, and if it is Busy, it will print an increment value on the LCDThis is my USB init function:Do you know what the solution can be to the CDC transmission issue with USB high-speed d
I am trying to read ID and to write and read the data from the flash W25Q16JV with SPI2 of stm32L452CE connection, I am not even getting the ID from flash but SPI tx rx is getting HAL_OK. This wiring is working other code and providing unique ID from flash, but it is not working with my code. Please find the issue and update the corrected solution. In this I am using Mode 0 for flash. I have tried not SPI tx project and also FreeRTOS SPI task, but both are not giving ID or values. I will attach the project file with this, kindly check both and update the correct solution.
I am using a scrolllist that contains 6 items, 4 of which are visible. It is a horizontal list and non-circular. I'd like to have a couple of indicator items, one to the left and another to the right of the scrolllist to show whether there are items that are not currently visible. Maybe I'll even make these clickable and then auto-scroll left or right. I don't currently see a way to know what items are in view at the moment and @shark has already asked this here:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-touchgfx-and-gui/how-to-get-index-of-first-visible-item-in-a-scrolllist/td-p/213644 scrollList2UpdateItem() doesn't do anything useful here because it just tells you that you need to update something that is shortly going to be visible.
I am using an STM32F7 Nucleo Board with SPI/I2S to get audio data from this MEMS microphone.https://www.adafruit.com/product/6049?gad_campaignid=21079227318gad_campaignid=21079227318 I am having issues with none of the signals triggering: WS, CLK, or Data.I call the HAL_I2S_Receive function, and neither the clock nor the select signal is triggered. I enter the timeout checker and only leave once I have timed out.If anyone has any suggestions? I have my DAD connected, and I see nothing.
