I was able to flash the board successfully many times but it suddenly stopped working when I changed something in the write protection settings. I think it was "WRP1B_END" which is currently 0x0807f80, but I don't remember the default value, maybe someone can tell what it is?I am using STM32CubeProgrammer v2.14.0, MXCube 6.9.0 and STM32CubeIDE 1.13.0, which all seem to be up to date.For example, when I try flashing the firmware via STM32Programmer (using newest formware from github master), I get this:  14:17:21:361 : Reading data... 14:17:21:362 : r ap 0 @0x1FFF75E0 0x00000004 bytes Data 0xFFFF0140 14:17:21:362 : Old Firmware delete ... 14:17:21:362 : PROGRAMMING OPTION BYTES AREA ... 14:17:21:363 : Warning: Option Byte: nSWboot0, value: 0x0, was not modified. 14:17:21:363 : Warning: Option Byte: nboot0, value: 0x1, was not modified. 14:17:21:363 : Warning: Option Byte: nboot1, value: 0x1, was not modified. 14:17:21:363 : Warning: Option Bytes are unchanged, Data won't be

Hello,In my project I just sometimes need to read ADC values. I figure I could simply connect two of my signals to ADC1 and ADC2 respectively.What it strange that it does sometimes working, but sometimes it is stuck at constant value ( maybe first read i think)ADC is clocked from PLL at 100MHz  void ADC_Init(void) { uint32_t timeout = 0xFFFFF; LL_ADC_InitTypeDef ADC_InitStruct = {0}; LL_ADC_REG_InitTypeDef ADC_REG_InitStruct = {0}; LL_ADC_CommonInitTypeDef ADC_CommonInitStruct = {0}; LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; LL_RCC_SetADCClockSource(LL_RCC_ADC_CLKSOURCE_PLL3R); LL_AHB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB1_GRP1_PERIPH_ADC12); GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = LL_GPIO_PIN_11|LL_GPIO_PIN_13; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = LL_GPIO_MODE_ANALOG; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = LL_GPIO_PULL_NO; LL_GPIO_Init(GPIOF, &GPIO_InitStruct); LL_ADC_SetOverSamplingScope(ADC1, LL_ADC_OVS_GRP_REGULAR_CONTINUED); LL_ADC_ConfigOverSamplingRatioShift(ADC1, 1024, LL_ADC_OVS_SHIFT_RIGHT_6); LL_ADC

Hi @ST Community GreetingsI'm trying the TF-M Application package v1.2 released by ST and am following the instructions in UM2851.I'm currently in the step shown below:in windows im unable to run the TFM_Update.sh script that is provided in the following location(my installation path)C:\TFM\en.stm32cubeu5-v1-2-0\STM32Cube_FW_U5_V1.2.0\Projects\B-U585I-IOT02A\Applications\TFM\TFM_SBSFU_Boot\STM32CubeIDE.To enable the installation of shell scripts i used the cygwin tool and tried running the above mentioned script from the path and the following error is returned:Is there any changes that i have to do(as i m not much familiar in shell scripts). Is my method correct? There is another path that contains a batch file TFM_UPDATE.batch in the path(for EWARM IDE). Can i use this batch file with STMCube IDE. C:\TFM\en.stm32cubeu5-v1-2-0\STM32Cube_FW_U5_V1.2.0\Projects\B-U585I-IOT02A\Applications\TFM\TFM_SBSFU_Boot\EWARM.Is there any manual sequence by which i can upload the code?

HiI am using HAl_I2C_Mem_Read library to read data from a register. But the HAl-I2C_Mem_Read does not add the LSb bit for read bit. For example if the device adress is 0x6C, the 8th bit shout be 1 for reading but it is 0 and I get an Ack failer. Even if I do like 0x6C|0x01 to make the 8th bit 1 for reading it still is 0 and I get ACK failer. Hope that anyone can help with this.This is the code. HAL_StatusTypeDef MAX30205_readTemp(uint8_t dev_address){HAL_StatusTypeDef ret;uint64_t tempData[2];// read from the register sDeviceNameret = HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(&hi2c1, dev_address, 0x121, 2, tempData, 2, HAL_MAX_DELAY);if(ret != HAL_OK){return ret;}return HAL_OK;}Here I call the function  MAX30205_readTemp(uint8_t dev_address) and send the device address: while (1)  {    /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */  MAX30205_readTemp(0x16);/* USER CODE END 3 */  }And I also tried to decode it using ossilscop:

Hi, let us know, for this development kit,1. Linux customization possible.2. support for development

Hello, I'm using a STEVAL-PLC001V1 card. It is based on a STM32F746ZGT7 that is linked to a CLT01-38SQ7 for inputs and ISO8200AQ for outputs, using SPI.I try to read datas sent through SPI by the CLT01-38SQ7 and then send it back to the ISO8200AQ.My board is configured as follow : SPI2_MOSI : PC1SPI2_MISO : PC2SPI2_SCK : PB13GPIO_Output : PB12GPIO_Input : PB9I have the following code (only my custom code):  uint8_t inputData; /* USER CODE END 0 */ /** * @brief The application entry point. * @retval int */ int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* Enable I-Cache---------------------------------------------------------*/ SCB_EnableICache(); /* Enable D-Cache---------------------------------------------------------*/ SCB_EnableDCache(); /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BE

Hi, I'm implementing a LoRa network (not LoRaWAN) using NUCLEO-WL55JC1 boards in a Master-Slave topology. I've scattered 7 end nodes, i.e., slaves, throughout 150 hectares and achieved successful data transmission. Each of these slaves and their related circuitry is placed inside small steel cabinets specially made for them, in which only a small hole was left for the antenna to pass through. The cabinets are attached to lampposts at about 4 meters high.As for the master, it will be located inside a room and permanently powered by a computer. However, it would be convenient if the antenna could be placed on the building roof, so I can achieve line of sight with some of the slaves and avoid many obstacles for the others. This way, I can transmit with less power and minimize the chance of any unsuccessful transmission. I have already installed a high-gain antenna on the roof that can be connected from inside, but I realized that the antenna that comes with the NUCLEO-WL55JC1 is glued in

Used STM32CubeIDE version: 1.12.0Used driver library: STM32Cube_FW_U5_V1.2.0I found a bug in the initialization of the LSI, when low-level drivers are used. The bug is located in the function SystemClock_Config(). Since the background domain access is not enabled before trying to enable the LSI, the loop which is waiting for the LSI to come up is never left....LL_PWR_EnableBkUpAccess();              // <-- this line is missing in the generated codeLL_RCC_LSI_Enable();/* Wait till LSI is ready */while(LL_RCC_LSI_IsReady() != 1){}...

Hi everyone, I am beginner of stm32. I was using arduino with other lora devices but they consume a lot of power. I was programming lora (ebyte) with HAL_UART. So it was really easy.Since I want to learn to program stm32 and I need really really low power consumption, I decided to use STM32WL55JC1 or STM32WLE5JC. I want to communicate 5(or more) end node devices to gateway and gateway will send the datas to api.So can I use P-NUCLEO-LRWAN2 as gateway and code it with AT command to achieve what I want easily?If I can't can I use ping-pong example for 5 NUCLEO-WL55JC1 devices as a ping and 1 NUCLEO-WL55JC1 device as a pong ? Pong will be connected the ethernet and it will post ping's datas to my server. Any example code? Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated as I am a beginner. Thank you.

Good day!Please tell me where I could see the connection diagram for controlling two brushless motors using STSPIN32G4? I couldn't find any information on the site. I saw a video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8NkogGR--s But i couldn't find info and schematics or developer board for two BLDC motors Thank you!

I have created a project on Touchgfx Designer and renamed my project according to:https://community.st.com/s/idea/0873W000000PAykQAG/detailso it does not conflict with other project with the same name in my workspace.I did it successfully and even was able to compile it. I then modified the project via the .ioc file in CubeIDE and was still able to build the project. But Running or debugging the project does NOT work!! I get this famous Error in final launch sequence. This is not the 1st time I got this and an ST employee (@Christophe VRIGNAUD) previously suggested me to revert back to the original project name. That is unfortunately a poor solution and not an option for me as all touchgfx projects bear the same name. Can anyone help with fixing that ERROR IN FINAL LAUNCH SEQUENCE??Attached is the log as well.I tried deleting the current debug configuration and made a new one but the problem is still there.

I'm using a STM32U5A9J-DK with TouchGFX. Smaller projects work just fine. But aufter integrating an Animated Image (approx. 37 MBytes of assets), the programming fails. I have seen a lot of videos for pin configuration. The one thing I have noticed is that whenever they configured the pin the chipset would be highlighted (Fig.1) but as you can see in the image my pin UI (Fig.2) is not highlighted and I guess because of this I'm unable to code. Fig.1 Fig.2

Hi. I am running out of ideas with this problem. I have an STM32H750VBT6 V on a custom PCB. A previous version of this circuit (v1) and PCB worked just fine. I made some minor circuit fixes and improvements and modified the PCB from a 2 layer to a 4 layer design (v2). I am unable to get any response from SWD on the v2 (confirmed down to electrical level).All VDD, VBAT and VDDA have 3.3V, all VSS and VSSA are connected to ground. Verified from circuit voltage levels and from meter continuity. All the 100nF and 4.7uF capacitors are in place very close to the MCU. I have reset and BOOT0 wired to microswitches. When I press reset, I can see activity on some pins - rising to near 3.3V shortly after reset, with some digital activity, for example on pin 92, PB6. I take this as proof that the bootloader is attempting to make contact with peripherals, which are mostly not wired in. USB however is wired in, though it never appears as a USB device for DFU on my host (that's not my main issue righ

Hi I am looking for STM32F100 FIT or MTBF data can you please help me with this

Hi, i am trying to use USB VCP device on STM32F401. Is there a example available for this? Optimally, if it ends with something like the "Hello World" display in the terminal. My goal is to replace FTDI with internal USB in STM.Thanks

I have a SPI Master to slave setup and for some reason whenever the slave receive the full buffer from Master, it does not go inside the callback function.This is my code from Master:const uint8_t TX_Buffer1[] = "Hi Slave, wake up!"; uint8_t RX_Buffer[50]; uint8_t RX_Buffer_cpy[50]; volatile int counter = 0; volatile int TX_complete; volatile int RX_complete; while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ MX_TouchGFX_Process(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ while(HAL_SPI_GetState(&hspi2)!= HAL_SPI_STATE_READY){} HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_4, GPIO_PIN_RESET); TX_complete = 0; HAL_SPI_Transmit_DMA(&hspi2, TX_Buffer1, sizeof(TX_Buffer1)); while(TX_complete==0){} RX_complete = 0; HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA(&hspi2, RX_Buffer, sizeof(RX_Buffer)); while(RX_complete==0){} HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, GPIO_PIN_4, GPIO_PIN_SET); counter++; } /* USER CODE END 3 */ }And then code from slave:const uint8_t TX_Buffer1[] = "Hi Master, I am finally awake!"; uint8_t RX_Buffer[

Posted on May 21, 2018 at 17:07I want to use the ETH port to communicate with other devices. I started by creating a project in CubeMX for the STM2F769I-Disc board. I simply added the LWIP and the ETH port (as RMII) and set a specific IP address (which was not already taken by any other device, my pc included). I'm using IAR to comile the project and everything is fine: I also added in the while(1) the function MX_LWIP_Process();My problem is that I don't reach the board at its specific address when I ping it.Where am I going wrong?Thank you!#stm32f7 #lwip #eth

Hi, I used to work with a stm32h743 that had a QSPI, but now I work with a stm32h723zgt6 that has a OSPI. I don't know if I should continue with the MX_OCTOSPI1_Init function to use it for Memory Mapped for w25q256 program I wrote for Touch GFX.To use it for Touch GFX widgets ُThanks

I built a project from within TouchGFX and clicked the Run on Target button. Unfortunately, I forgot to plug STLink into my target board so programming failed. I connected STLink and clicked the Run on Target button again and it went and compiled ALL source code again before downloading it to my board - why does it do this ???Andy

See Attached Downloaded  from  web site as directed ;however download  looks nothing like folder in the  tutorial ;Placed comments in the comment section of the tutorial - so far no response - I asked for file structure as viewed in the tutorial . Download several times -same issue -Is this a corrupt  folder or is there a way of activating the file - Cube MX ( located in the workspace )does not respond  either using F103,F446,F750   hardware however  the issue is with the  Interface of cube IDE and the folder ( file )

I am doing a LoRaWAN project on the STM32WLE and so I want to power it down in Stop2 mode to lower the power consumption.Using the following code, this works fine : UTILS_ENTER_CRITICAL_SECTION(); // mask interrupts if (applicationEventBuffer.isEmpty() && loraWanEventBuffer.isEmpty()) { // If no events are pending in any of the eventBuffers... HAL_SuspendTick(); // stop Systick HAL_PWREx_EnterSTOP2Mode(PWR_STOPENTRY_WFI); // go into Sleep - STOP2 HAL_ResumeTick(); // re-enable Systick } // UTILS_EXIT_CRITICAL_SECTION(); // re-enable interruptsHowever, when some of my other code uses UTILS_ENTER_CRITICAL_SECTION(); to make things thread safe between the main thread and the interrupt-handlers, the device does not stay into Stop2 but wakes up immediately..Commenting out the UTILS_ENTER_CRITICAL_SECTION();  UTILS_EXIT_CRITICAL_SECTION(); it works as it should, but then the code is not thread safe anymore... Here's what those macro's are doing (utiliti

We want to compare the performance of LSM6DSV16BX and ISM330DLC,to do this we need bias instability and random walk of both gyro and accelerometer. Unfortunately these parameters are not specified in datasheet, Please sent us the parameters bias instability and random walk of both gyro and acclerometer to define or calculate the position drift.

Hi..  Im working on an application attempting to use the LPS22HHTR.  I see in the specs the table of absolute max ratings, but I wasn't able to find a parameter for the low end.  In this application there can be occasions where the line falls below 260 hPa for brief periods.  I am not concerned about being able to get a reading at these levels but rather an understanding how far into vacuum ( or below 260hPa) the device can go before failure.  Any guidance is appreciated.  Thanks.
