In STM32CubeIDE, there doesn't seem to be any way to access the I2S and I2C interfaces for the CS43L22 on the STM32F407G-DISC1 board. There is nothing in the System Core, Analog, Timers ... Middleware and Software Packages configuration area of CubeIDE.I will be generating my own audio samples, and they will be sent to the DAC in a timer interrupt. I will not be using DMA.I have gathered numerous files that perform the higher-layer functions necessary, but I cannot find anything related to the low-level hardware control. For example, the schematic for the board indicates that the I2C address for the codec is 0x94. When I search through all of the files that I have found for "94", I don't find anything related to this address and I2C.There must something out there because many people are successfully accessing this codec. I just cannot find it.

Hello everyone,I am trying to establish a serial communication between a Teensy 4.1 and a Nucleo F401RE board. The Nucleo board reads data from some VL53L7CX ToF sensors (this part works) and send them via Serial to the Teensy (this one doesn't work).Indeed, the Teensy never receives any data, except after the end of the initialization of the ToF sensors: it receives a 0 integer. However, at this moment of the code, no data are supposed to be sent by the Nucleo. So I don't understand where that could come from and why I can't receive the actual data written on the Serial port. Do you have any idea about that please?I have made the following wiring:Pin 0 of Teensy linked to pin PA_9 (D8) of the NucleoPin 1 of the Teensy linked to pin PA_10 (D2) of the NucleoGND of the Teensy linked to the GND of NucleoAlso, here are my two codes (both were developed with the Arduino platform). The 1st one is the Nucleo's code and the 2nd one is the Teensy's code:NUCLEO /** ************************

I've used CubeMX to enable in PA4 as in input with EXTI interrupt enabled on a STM32F373.  It works well, but how to I enable the device with this interrupt disabled by default?  HAL seems to enable the interrupt and then allow the 'user' code' to be include just after but that will in fact trigger an interrupt in my case since a second device is toggling that pin quickly.  I only want the interrupt to be generated after some time after the device has booted to ensure it is ready. Thanks!

I am using stm32f407vgt6 mcu and sending data in canbus but I want to receive ack notification

ok so when i debug and step through my code the hse ready bit in the rcc-cr register sets to one but when i run it it hangs at my while loop waiting for it to set why does this happen

I am trying to send some bytes over an SPI via DMA on bare metal STM32G441. But there is nothing being sent and I cant find why. I only used DMA on ST32F devices that do not have the DMAMUX. Please note that SCK and MISO are not used here. I looked at a generated code from CubeIDE which does not seem to do anything else. I expected the SPI to send 1000 bytes. Here is my code. The comment shows what is happening in each line as I am not using CMSIS. The bit definitions are corresponding to the bits: bit5 = (1<<5) for example.     volatile uint8_t buf[1000] = {0b11001000}; // initialize RCC->AHB1ENR |= bit0|bit2; // enable DMA1 and DMAMUX clocks RCC->AHB2ENR |= bit0; // enable GPIOA clock RCC->APB2ENR |= bit12; // enable SPI1 clock GPIOA->MODER &= ~(0b11<<14); GPIOA->MODER |= (0b10<<14); // PA7 alternate function GPIOA->AFRL |= (5<<28); // PA7 SPI1 MOSI GPIOA->OSPEEDR |= (0b11<<14); // MOSI speed high DMA1

Hi every one ..I designed custom board for stm32h745xit6 .My TouchGFX working fine with internal flash .The core board has mt25ql256a and connected as under PB2 CLKPG6 NCSPF8 D0PF9 D1PF7 D2PF6 D3I generated STLDR as explained in ST videos tutorial.my generated STLDR file is visible and selected as external loader , but it gives error when programming 0x90000000 ...kindly help methanks in advance.IN

Hello, I want to take data from ADC input and store them on the internal flash memory of my STM32f769i-discovery board. Can you help me about the use of flash memory? Thank you.

Hi,I have troubles with the new version of SPC5Studio.I have made a bootloader with SPC5Studio V. 5.8.1 which is working fine but when I have remade it with the new SPC5Studio software it doesn't jump to application code. This is what happens: The bootloader starts correctly when I send the id upgrade message from CAN. It saves correctly the application code in Flash memory. After that, I turn off the device and then ,after few seconds, I turn on it. After few checks it jumps to the application code but here is when I saw two different behaviours : bootloader's code with SPC5Studio version 5.8.1 can jump to application code, the one with SPC5Studio version 6.0.0 fails. They have the same source code, same memory map and the only few changes are that which are generated with "Generate SPC5 Application" button. Any suggests? Could I receive SPC5Studio v. 5.8.1 version in order to compare the auto-generated code? Thanks in advance. P.S. Micro is SPC582B60E1

Hello together,I am looking for some time now fort an Application/Design note/guide for the injection pre-driver L9781 without too much success.Does anybody know if such thing exist? Thanks and I wish you a sunny day!Best regards.

Hi Team,    Any Transceiver IC support up to 3GHz range in STMicroelectronics? And how to interface with controller.!  Thanks and Reguad,Aravind

Hello, why is the MSC Host class not active in the Cube IDE configuration tool for STM32U575 series MCUs?I am developing a product based on STM32U575VGT6 and need the USB Host functionality for firmware updates and file storage to USB flash key. As I can see, the hardware of the selected MCU can ensure such functionality. However, the option during configuration is not selectable. Why is it so, and will it be available one day? Thanks!

I read from the OpenOCD docs in spc5 studio, I can only found sample instructions OpenOCD for spc58 family. But can't find any info about spc57 family support. Did spc5 studio openocd also working for other spc5 mcu family?

- STM32G0B0 USART1 receiving RS485 data via interrupt driven data collection.   Our micro is attached to a RS485 interface(38400, 8,N,1) receiving BACnet data. The data taken on the 485 bus is different from what we receive in the USART buffers. We have reviewed the USART config many times over and can not find anything obvious.485:        55 FF 01 11 0C 00 00 DCUSART:  55 00 7F 7A DE FF EB 00Notes: All the 485 packets seem to be 8 bytes in length and the micro received packets can be seven or 8 bytes. The scope trace is taken going into the micro after the 485 chip(THVD1410DR). The scope trace seems to show the second byte as all ones.We have tried different USART1 configs but the received data always seems wrong after the first byte. Any help is appreciated.   LL_USART_InitTypeDef USART_InitStruct = {0}; USART_InitStruct.PrescalerValue = LL_USART_PRESCALER_DIV1; USART_InitStruct.BaudRate = 38400; USART_InitStruct.Da

We are using the ADC on an STM32G4xx for a safety project. The safety manual requires us to read VSS or VDD for ADC diagnostics. STM32G4 has ADC channel 0 internally connected to VSSA, so we are trying to use HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel() to configure ADC_CHANNEL_0.Unfortunately, HAL_ADC_ConfigChannel() asserts on IS_ADC_CHANNEL(hadc, sConfig->Channel) because IS_ADC_CHANNEL() does not check for ADC_CHANNEL_0. I would assume this is a bug in stm32g4xx_hal_adc_ex.h since all ADC instances in the G4 do support VSS as valid input channel (see reference manual section 21.4.4).Can someone please look at this?Regards, Norbert

Hello, I have an STM32L010F4P6. I am using HAL libraries, STM32Cube IDE 1.10. And i wrote my program in language C. I must set optimalization to -Os. (Low space) My issue is little bit mysterious. I am using LPUART (115200 8N1) for communication. When I flash fw and run a code all work perfectly, but when i reset the STM32 (unconnected and connected power or terminate by IDE, unconnect ST-link, reset by ide) the MCU Transmit wrong data in response. I could not debug (because -Os) and also because it failed after reset

Hello, after upgrading from 1.12.1 to 1.13.1 I encounter the following problem when trying to download my (previously working fine) project onto STM32:Any ideas?regardsHerbert

I am a bit too new to this St universe, could someone please point ,me in the right direction?I would like to update the Firmware on my BMS L9963 board. I found a folder on the website for the GUI for download. It contains a ELF file and some .dllsHow do I transfer this onto the board? I have SPC5 Studio and the Autodevkit installed. There are no samples for that BMS other than an example for timers (?).How? Why? :) Comming from the Arduino universe I am very very lost right now. Maybe someone could help? Is there a noob guide somewhere? How to get all of this going?

Below i have attached a code which enables the PLL freq of 72MHz using HSI of 16MHz. The issue is if I give a Timer pre-scaler of 36000-1 (I am using timer2, which in case of STM32F401RE is on APB1 bus so using a pre-scaler of 2 for APB1 which makes it 36MHz, thus a pre-scaler of 36000-1 will generate a delay of 1 ms). Desired outcome is to generate 1 ms timer delay but it is not 1 ms when tested with timer ARR is set 5000. I have already checked clock using MCO1 pin with a pre-scaler of 2 which gave 36MHz on DSO. When  i call a delay function by passing 5000 as timer ARR value, then i hardly get 2500 - 3000 ms delay.Below is my RCC_Init() function, please let me know is there any other settings are needed for setting up timers using PLL. void tim_init(){TIM2_EN;//TIM2->TIMx_PSC = 36000-1;TIM2->TIMx_PSC = 16000-1;//TIM2->TIMx_PSC = 80000-1;//TIM2->TIMx_PSC = 72000 - 1;} void delay(uint16_t x){TIM2->TIMx_ARR = x;TIM2->TIMx_CNT = 0;TIM2->TIMx_CR1 |= (1

I'm sending a simple string to with HAL_UART_Transmit()  "Hello", and when I look at the Input on my COM-Port there is nothing showing up, just a blank plain text site. Yes I am transmitting at the right baud rate 115200 and I don't have an extra parity bit or anything of that nature. I'm using default settings on everything here. My Board is a NUCLEO-H563ZI with an STM32H563ZIT6. I am using UART 7 to communicate. I will also link my files here. I have basically tried every UARTx and USARTx. When I check the State with HAL_UART_GetState() I get HAL_UART_STATE_READY and as return on the HAL_UART_Transmit() I get HAL_OK.

Using Nucleo-U575ZI-Q (rev X) board I try to do a PoC - a very simple UCPD source app providing default USB 5V and 0.5A max. With undocumented onboard SB8-10 shorten this probably can be accomplished. I know this board does not provide output current control, but that is OK, it is just a simple UCPD test to check if I am able to control CC lines state and receive line state change events, no BMC communication. At first, I tried to use CubeMX middleware. Generated application requires two DMA channels, one advanced timer, uses proprietary ST library and crashes MCU so badly that probably no fault handler is even being called. So I tried to activate UCPD and monitor CC lines with my simple code. As soon as I activate the Rp resistor MCU crashes, debug communication is lost. Sample code below. Please Advise.Firmware package version: 1.3.0Update: I got success, but with Nucleo-H563ZI Rev W. Using the same code (w/o trimming) I was able to correctly read SR.TYPEC_VSTATE_CCn, UC

I would like to find out the if the following assumptions are correct. It offers 16 bit (65K) level resolution. The sensitivity in mV/g would about 3000/2g for the 2g range? That seems rather high because typically you see 500 mv/g values. Also I am not sure how the 26.6 K data rate translates into 6 KHz bandwith specified in the datasheet.
