Hello,I need to restore the system clock to its default state, after it has been configured to generate 64MHz clock signal from an external 24MHz oscillator.I used the HAL_RCC_DeInit() function, that seems to do most of the job, but not all apparently. Some register, indeed, mantains the 64 MHz configuration value. For example the main regulator output voltage settings (PWR->CR1.PWR_CR1_VOS), and flash wait states are not restored to default values. Is it problem? Is it enough to call HAL_RCC_DeInit(), or I need to call some other functions to complete the clock restore operation?Thank you,Carlo

Hello,I'm trying the X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 in combination with the NUCLEO-L476RG. I have programmed the demo firmware NFC08A1_PollingTagDetectNDEF.It detects tags but reading distance is very poor.  ( less then 1 cm for small ISO-15693 tags). Is there a GUI tool like the "ST25R3916 Discovery GUI" for this setup?  Is AAT done in the demo firmware? How can i increase power?

I am doing current control with PWM. The switch provides a current sense pin which is going to my ADC.I am using STM32F4. I am also using FreeRTOS, not sure if this is important though. My ADC is set to run at 84MHz with 4x prescaler. The conversion is 10bit and the cycles are 15. ADC into circular buffer. The PWM frequency to be measured is 250Hz, very small. I am watching the ADC values using STM Studio trace using genuine stlinkv2 and I am unable to capture every PWM pulse when the duty cycle is below ~15%. This is clearly due to aliasing. I assume it's due to the ADC being too slow but I'm also under the impression that the ADC is supposed to be capturing 750k samples per second, 21MHz/(15+12)  >= 750k. Even 5000 samples per second should suffice so what could be happening? My problem is similar to this but I am not currently concerned with gating, just being able to capture the low duty cycle PWM pulses.https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32-adc-sample-rate/td-

Hi, I tried to use a broadcom lib (AFBR_S50, libafbrs50_m4_fpu.a)  on a STM32F401 nucleo board. This works quite well for the IDE 1.10.1. I can compile the example program and run the debugger. But as soon as I try to migrate it to a higher IDE version (1.11 or 1.12 or 1.13.1) the compilation / linking fails with the message: 'undefined reference to main' in 'startup_stm32f401retx.s' in this file:LoopFillZerobss:ldr r3, = _ebsscmp r2, r3bcc FillZerobss /* Call the clock system intitialization function.*/bl SystemInit /* Call static constructors */bl __libc_init_array/* Call the application's entry point.*/bl mainbx lr .size Reset_Handler, .-Reset_HandlerI did not find any hint how to fix this problem. It may be related to the migration of the .ioc file to a newer version / the new generated code. But how can I address this problem? Thanks for your help!Best, E

Hey all, I am attempting to use the CubeMX to enable and generate code for the WolfSSL middleware.   When I do, it seems to not generate all the files.  One that is missing for example is evp.c.  However, it seems that none of the .C files are generated, just the header files.  What setting am I not choosing?I downloaded the source from https://www.wolfssl.com/ and saw that there are many files missing from the code generation from CubeMX.  What do I need to change? For reference, I am developing on a STM32L476 using the Nucleo-64 development board. My compiler is GCC-ARM-NONE-EABI and I am using VSCODE and CMAKE.  None of that really matters at this point, I am just wondering why the C files are not generated.

I am planning to do a Over the air update for a tool. And I'm planning to use a stm32l431cc ultra low power MCU with one flash bank.So here we have an application which is some 100kb.I'm confused with lot of terms.OpenBootloaderIn application programmingCustom Bootloader.Default bootloader by stm32 in System memory.etc.Can you clarify these word's.I want some idea where in i can flash my new software to some flash sections, take backup of old software. Then move the new software to old software's location.is this possible?

I have been paying attention to the energy collection function of ST25, and I want to make ST25 collect energy to power low-power MCU through NFC. I want to know how this picture is realized, and do you have specific models and instructions?

I want to know the wireless power supply principle of NFC WLC, can I verify the effectiveness of wireless power supply through ST25DV series? Where the listener has a power receiver, how to achieve wireless charging?

I understand that I have exited the NFC WLC function and I currently have X-NUCLEO-NFC07A1. How do I charge the WLC-Listener using the battery charging function shown in the legend?

I need to use NFC to obtain several hundred watts of energy to drive the MCU of L4 to complete other tasks, Can I use ST25 and antenna to achieve this? Can the energy obtained from it be used to charge NFC? Can I use the QI standard provided by ST Company to design and achieve the purpose of NFC energy supply?

Hello ST TeamI am working on medical project involving patient monitoringCurrently we are using the STM32H757XI-EVAL board and trying communicate the host monitor via ethernet TCP/UDP. The underlying operating system is Azure RTOS.I am not able to find the sample with the needed combination.I tried using the XcubeRTOSH7 repoand making adaptation based on it, but the end result is not successful.Kindly provide any working sample or direct towards the appropriate adaptation that are needed for the combination to work.Repo: ( https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-azrtos-h7.html)

Can the NFC WLC shown in the picture be purchased? I need to do the passive test project. Can use NFC to collect energy to power MCU to complete other tests.

Hey, I have the ST25DV64KC-DISCO discovery kit, and I want to program it such that whenever an NFC-enabled mobile phone comes in contact, the phone will connect to a Bluetooth address that will be given inside the firmware code. So in  NFC firmware code in the ndef_demo i have given my mobile  Bluetooth address as I don't have Bluetooth module embedded in my discovery board  and local device name  I have giv my mobile device name now if I go into ble read info in the discovery board menu and try to read it through nfc enabled mobile it giving me the option of pairing with the given local device name but pairing is not happening now how to program it so that it will pair the other nfc enabled phone with the given Bluetooth address when try to read it through nfc tag .I have also adding the part of the code I am changing for this problem any solution from you will be appreciated    #include "ndef_demo.h" #include "string.h" #include "stdlib.h"

Hi, I use RTC alarm to wake up from STOP mode I have STM32F030C8T6. During initialization I have set 5s and everything works as it should. But I would need to change the interval to maybe 30s while the program is running. The problem is that the change will not be overwritten. I found that I need to change the ALRAWF register set to 1 in RTC_ISR, but I don't know how to do it. I will be glad for help.Thank you.

I am porting ILI9341 code from Keil to Cube MX.The original code contains:  void LCD_WR_REG(vu16 regval) { regval=regval; //ʹÓÃ-O2ÓÅ»¯µÄʱºò,±ØÐë²åÈëµÄÑÓʱ LCD->LCD_REG=regval;//дÈëҪдµÄ¼Ä´æÆ÷ÐòºÅ }  vu16 seems to be __IO uint16_t i.e. volatile uint16_tmy question: regval=regval; seems obsolete code, but as the driver code seems to be written by somebody that knows what he or she is doing, I wonder what the reason behind this statement would be?

Hi all,I am using the Nucleo STM32U575ZI-Q and have been trying to get low level USART with DMA working. Transmitting data works fine as I can see the data using a logic analyser but when I try to receive data either from another Nucleo or putting the wire from Tx to Rx I get nothing.I have a Asynchronous USART with DMA channels for both Tx and Rx. In MX_USART1_UART_Init() I enable:  LL_DMA_EnableIT_HT(GPDMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_10); LL_DMA_EnableIT_TC(GPDMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_10); LL_DMA_EnableIT_TC(GPDMA1, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_11); LL_USART_EnableIT_IDLE(USART1); In my other init function for my code I set the DestAddress, BlkDataLength and also enable the channel:  LL_DMA_SetDestAddress(pDMATypedef, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_10, (uint32_t)RXBuffer); LL_DMA_SetBlkDataLength(pDMATypedef, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_10, mARRAY_LEN(RXBuffer)); LL_DMA_EnableChannel(pDMATypedef, LL_DMA_CHANNEL_10); In my Rx DMA interrupt I call a function which calls another function which will check if

Hello,I working with a motor that has very few info : motorBased on the picture, to do the profiling (in ST Motor profiler) of this motor. Pole pairs : 42Max speed : 600Max current : 5AVoltage : 24V but the application show 23V (therefore 12V as under voltage threshold and 28V as over voltage threshold)When I connect the device and start the profiling, after few moments, the profiling stops with orange over voltage error. I guess it's more a warning than an error but where this come from and how to not have it anymore?I'm asking this because it seems that ignoring the very first step in my project bring me more troubles

Hello,is it ok to use the __GNUC__, __GNUC_MINOR__ and __GNUC_PATCHLEVEL__ marcros, to check the toolchain version, at compile time?I am using the following toolchain version:In this case and the macros have the following values:__GNUC__ = 10__GNUC_MINOR__ = 3__GNUC_PATCHLEVEL__ = 1I have noticed that the first two values are the same of the toolchain (10.3).Thank you,Carlo

Hello guys :)I am programming with stm8s105k4it immediately exit halt mode with in about 10us When It enter the Halt mode. What is it?I knew the exit condition from halt mode is only EXT INT, But I naver enable any EXT INT.What happend with my MCU.There are not any Interrupts(include comm int.) and no reset.I don,t know What is it.

I am using STM32H7A3/7B3 to my project.Currently I use HSE as for the system clock. There is a process when press power OFF MCU will go to STOP mode.My question how to check that HSE has stop and enter the STOP mode correctly?

Hi team,I have followed the steps given (407) Disabling TrustZone on STM32U5 - YouTubewhile disabling trustzone on B-U585I-IOT02A Discovery Kit it shows below errors in snapshotPlease let me know any solution on this asap !!Thanks in advance !!

Hello guys,i try to use RTOS with my STM32H723, but i have some trouble with the RTOS Tasks and the proper definition of the task.As an example i want to push the blue button on my Nucleo board, which triggers an Interrupt, which executes a RTOS Task (https://www.freertos.org/taskresumefromisr.html)When you create a RTOS Task in CubeMX the IDE generates the following code in the main.c file:/* Definitions for BlueButton */ osThreadId_t BlueButtonHandle; const osThreadAttr_t BlueButton_attributes = { .name = "BlueButton", .stack_size = 128 * 4, .priority = (osPriority_t) osPriorityHigh, };The interrupt handler functions, that I want to use, are in the stm32H/xx_it.c file.In this file I have the following IRQ handler:void EXTI15_10_IRQHandler(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN EXTI15_10_IRQn 0 */ if(__HAL_GPIO_EXTI_GET_FLAG(BLUE_BUTTON_Pin)) { BaseType_t checkIfYieldRequired; checkIfYieldRequired = xTaskResumeFromISR(BlueButtonHandle); portYIELD_FROM_ISR(checkIfYieldRequired); //B

Hello,I'm using a custom board based on a STM32H735 with various GPIO inputs and outputs. The STM32 is packaged as a 0.5mil pitch BGA and the board assembly has been outsourced.I'm able to flash a program on the MCU and debug it by adding breakpoints and visualizing registers values. However, none of the GPIO is working: I cannot drive a LED nor read a button input state. The registers are set as expected when using the HAL to set/reset a GPIO output. I've tried to bypass the HAL and write directly on the registers MODER and ODR, and the IDR register value change as expected. On top of that, I have no trouble driving a GPIO output on my STM32H735 demo board, so I don't think the issue come from the software.I have 6 LEDs on different GPIO ports, and I cannot drive a single one of them. I also have three boards, I'm able to flash and debug all of them, but not a single GPIO.It looks as if the GPIOs of the MCU where somehow not connected to the LEDs and buttons of my board. It could be e
