I have been trying to display continuous data on Scroll wheel container for the past 2 months but have been very unsuccessful. Could someone help or tell me if it's even possible to do that?? The example in the documentation does not help in that regard.I would like to display a counter that goes from 0 to 255 on a scroll wheel but what I get is the exact same value on each row of the scroll updating in real time. What I want is each counter value displayed on each row, e.gThis is my customContainer setup:void CustomContainer2::RX_UART(char* data) { TX_BufferArea.setWideTextAction(touchgfx::WIDE_TEXT_WORDWRAP); sprintf(USART_Array, "%d", data); Unicode::strncpy(TX_BufferAreaBuffer, USART_Array, TX_BUFFERAREA_SIZE); TX_BufferArea.invalidate(); }This is displayed via the View:void Screen2View::scrollWheel2UpdateItem(CustomContainer2& item, int16_t itemIndex) { item.RX_UART((char*)CounterTimer); //I feel itemIndex should be somehow added to this line here but I don't know how to

I am using STM32F302R6T6 MCU. I'm making a board. I will communicate with the MCUs via the I2C protocol. I am designing a card with a Master-Slave structure. Can I program the MCU if I add SDA, SCL, +5V, and GND pins to the board and connect them to the relevant pins of the MCU? Is it a problem? Or do I need to purchase a Programmer Adapter? The programmer adapter is not useful as I will be coding a lot of boards. And I use an NTC sensor. I will also add the necessary pins for the NTC sensor.

Hello community!I have updated my environment STMcubeIDE, TouchGFX to the latest versions. I have already some issues with the IDE and Designer team but after 4.22.1 update STM32CubeIDE doesn't recognize TouchGFX Generator 4.22.1 and got some pop screen shows message like CMSIS pack doesn't support TouchGFX Generator 4.22.1 version. I have tried multiple times to update TouchGFX generator in Embedded Software Packages and not listed 4.22.1 only 4.22 last I have viewed. How can I solve this issue? Thanks in advance!

Hi thereI bought two Nucleo-H755ZI-Q (NUH755ZIQ$AT3) boards.Non of them show up as USB devices on either of my computers.I have tried connecting through the IDE 1.13.1; STLinkUpgrade  3.12.3 and the newest cubeprogrammer. neither can find the device.I suspected driver issue and reinstalled the en.stsw-link009 driverStill no luck; also the devices are not shown as "unknown" there is no reaction at all from the PC when i plug and unplug the device. The MCU is running the preprogrammed program that switches between LD1,2 and 3 when user button is pressed. but except from that; nothing is working. They also do not show up as

Good morning community. I have developed a project with touchgfx on a custom electronic board. I am using STM32H735IGT6. The problem I'm having is when I turn the power supply off and on. Sometimes some streaks appear, which can only be fixed by restarting the board. Attached photo and video of the screen. As I said, it happens very rarely. What could be the problem? https://drive.google.com/file/d/11D_si5w0vC9acBfwNiP10S5IlYLLBngv/view?usp=drive_link

Where can I find an svd file for the STM32L4P5 with a full definition for TIM15?Everything I've found is missing Channel 2 definitions.Thanks,-Rob

Hello,I have 2 NUCLEO boards connected to my computer and I don't see any option to select the target device when I run my project in STM32CubeIDE. I want to be able to run a different program on each board, how can I achieve that ?

Hello!I need your help in finding a way to know if BLE advertising is active.Thank you

Even Arduino boards have schematics available, why is ST doing this? Do you want to wipe out the few users who buy the development boards?

Hello,I have been working in a project with the mentioned MCU and by now i have been working it with SMPS_SUPPLY and VOS3 to work at 100Mhz Both CM7 and CM4.By now days i need to boost it up to 400Mhz and 200Mhz, so i need to change from VOS3 to VOS1 but it is not available in my CUBEMx version 6.8.0 for all types of Supply i only have VOS3 and VOS2.Not only that issue, if i for example try to use VOS2, i get stuck at:while(!__HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_VOSRDY)) {} but when changing back to VOS3, it works fine.I tryed VOS2 to change from 100Mhz to 150Mhz in both, but got the mentioned issue.I found this thread: STM32H747 freezes waiting for VOSRDY - STMicroelectronics CommunityWhere some ppl said that is possible to not use this, but it feels strange...Also found this one: STM32CubeMX 6.8.1 and STM32CubeIDE 1.12.1 released - STMicroelectronics Communitywhere it is fixed an issue with the version of Mx and IDE i am working with, but not for H7 Series But F7 serie. Probably

Hello;I have the STM32H747I-DISCO card CPN: STM32H747I-DISCO, FG: DK32H747/SAT1, and on the MB1166-A03 screen A225300631. The problem is when I try to test the card with the BSP example, I encounter the following problem:I saw in the forums regarding this topic that an ST Employee suggests that the fix is available on GitHub:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH7/commit/1c84713102f8509deb79ae14db8dbb104c17c45e#diff-8a5b12f7040dfb560c495dc0a1213725ba939bf19d531dd1e97067b6a1a79ec0I tried replacing the files, but nothing is working, so please, I need an immediate solution.best regards

Once I posted the issue about 2 PWM outputs synchronize.https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/2-pwm-outputs-is-this-possible/td-p/587654 Now every 1st time after power on (or CPU reset if connected with IDE/Programmer) it works exactlly synchronized, but after 2nd start or afterward slave output timing is randomly skewed with master output. What's wrong here? -TIM2 = master  .. trigger on counter overflow -TIM3 = slave -codesI wonder that once timer start synchronous why timing is skewed only by PWM start or stop??I cannot find difference in dumped registers.. configuration, 1st start, and 2nd start.  ...see attached.I'm glad to hear someone can advise.kindly regards

Or in other words if we are triggering SOFT_RESET,  is this necessary after that also explicitly re-read the trimming parameters  via BOOT  in CTRL2 register? Or this soft reset does not affect the calibration registers. Background: We use different modes(ODR, with/without FIFO,LP/HP ) of lis2dw12 sensor and  when switching we are  triggering SOFT_RESET(CTRL2)  just to make sure that all configuration is in the default state before changing modes. The question comes up: is this necessary to trigger the BOOT as well on this stage to re-read calibration settings or is this not mandatory. Thanks in advance!

Hello. In my project, I would like to printf float type variables such as:   float t_degC = -45 + 175 * t_ticks/65535; float rh_pRH = -6 + 125 * rh_ticks/65535; printf("t_degC = %.2f \n",t_degC); printf("rh_pRH = %.2f \n",rh_pRH); Initially, I had the following error:So I have enabled the flag as suggested by the warning: After adding this flag, I can no longer compile my project as I am getting the following errors: c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.10.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.10.3-2021.10.win32_1.0.0.202111181127\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: SHT40_test.elf section `.text' will not fit in region `FLASH' c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.10.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.10.3-2021.10.win32_1.0.0.202111181127\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: region `FLASH' overflowed by 5416 bytes This is quite strange since my project is pretty much blank. I only have a coup

Hi, I have a question about the swipe operation in the TouchGFX Designer. There is a function called swipe container, but even if you check it on the demo screen, you can only find horizontal swipe.I would like to know how to enable vertical swipe.

I am using STM32WB5MMGH6 as a slave and communicating with the host using BLE.The question I would like to ask here is is there a way for the user to detect when data transmission fails due to BLE disconnection, etc. during data transmission? The tool I use is STM32CubeIDE, which automatically generates the FW using MX.Thank you.

HiI am trying to make an analog synthesizer, and for this is using a STM32G431 with some 8-channel DAC’s (connected via SPI) for generating control-voltages for the VCA’s and other circuits.I would like to use the SPI with DMA, and have looked at the RM chapters, understood some of it, but feel I need some working code example to lean against to move forward. When looking I only have found examples using either the internal DAC + DMA (without SPI), or SPI DAC but without DMA.The F4 Discovery boards (e.g STM32F407G-DISC1) does have an audio playback & recorder example using a CS32L22 stereo codec with I2S and DMA, but uses I2C instead of SPI for sending initialization settings to the codec.F4 or F3 examples could also be useful. I mostly chose G4 since it’s newer than F4, and hopefully some DMA and SPI quirks have been corrected in the new silicon (I may be naive though). At least it seems the errata mentions fewer ‘specialties’.Anything using an external DAC (no matter which) with S

I have a container with a switch on my screen. On the screen there are about 20 other containers that should change their appearance depending on the switch in the first container. How can I refresh a whole screen with all elements from one container?Best regards, Roger

Hello,I will make some probes for reading electrical values (AC, Analog, digital,...), but I'm not sure what happens if I insert a signal to a GPIO when MCU is powered off.I read time ago that all GPIOs are in high impedance state when MCU is not powered but I don't see this information in datasheets. It's the most logical, but I need to be sure for the safety of MCUs.The MCUs that I will use areSTM32F446 (Nucleo board)STM32G030 (Homemade boards)STM32F103 (Blue Pill) Thanks

We have following configuration in CTRL1: ODR[3:0]: 1001b (High-Performance / Low-Power mode 1600/200 Hz)MODE[1:0]: 01b(High-Performance Mode (14-bit resolution))And the value in the  "LP_MODE[1:0] " might be different depending on the state we came from. The question here does the value in the "LP_MODE[1:0] " have any affect in this configuration when high performance is selected in MODE[1:0]?

Hi! I have built a project in CubeMX for STM32U5A9ZJTxQ and generated the code for Keil uVision5.When rejecting the generated project, Keil does not find the pack with the desired device, offers to manually select the device and gives an error:Error #550: Requested device STM32U5A9ZJTx(STMicroelectronics) not found for target 'U5A9_LTDC' I can select STM32U5A9ZJTxQ myself. However, this has to be done after each code generation, which takes a lot of time.

Hello? As the title states, I would like to inquire about the settings of STM32CUBEIDE(V1.13.1) of the STM32F730V8T product. If you select USB_OTG_FS (Dual/OTG, Host Only or Device only) for the relevant MCU, it will be activated in the clock, but USB_OTG_HS (Dual/OTG, Host Only or Device only) will not be activated no matter which one you select. This means that HS mode does not require an internal clock. Does this work properly?

Hi.I work on BMS. I want a master-slave topology. I want to use 300 slave cards and 1 master card. This BMS is for automotive. I check ST MCU. I guess, The card should be 10-bit I2C. Because I want 300 Slave cards. So, Can you Help me this subject? Which one I will choose?

hi all, I am using STLINK/V2 ISOL which says ST_LINK, No MCU device found, just replacing with STLINK/V2 works keep all setup intact.what could be the reason.

Hello all,I recently ran into this problem where the MCU would instantly stop working after enabling the DAC. The behavior is that from the debug view of STM32IDE the program is still running, but all variable values are reset to 0, and once the program is paused manually, instead of showing where exactly the program was paused at, it shows a blank window with some HEX address. Below is the DAC connection schematic:The DAC output pin is connected to an op-amp and a bjt to drive the 5 turns coilBelow is the GPIO and DAC init codes: /*TOUT GPIO Configuration PA4 ------> TOUT */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = TOUT_PIN; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = LL_GPIO_MODE_ANALOG; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = LL_GPIO_PULL_NO; LL_GPIO_Init(TOUT_PORT, &GPIO_InitStruct);static void DAC_Init(void) { LL_DAC_InitTypeDef DAC_InitStruct = {0}; /* Peripheral clock enable */ LL_APB1_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB1_GRP1_PERIPH_DAC1); /** DAC channel OUT1 config */ DAC_InitStruct.TriggerSource = LL_DAC_TRIG_SOF
