Hi all,I'am wondernig about the max XTalk level in kcps which various FlightSense products can compensate. I found only for the new VL53L8CX Sensor a  xtalk compensation limit of 300 kcps - mentioned in application note  AN5939 in section 7 : Guidelines for the cover glass of the VL53L8 Time-of-Flight (ToF) multizone sensor family - Application note (st.com).What about the max xtalk compensation limits for the products VL53L1X/CB and VL53L5CX  ?Thanks in advance.

Hello to all, I create a new project using STM32CubeMX for the b-u585i-iot02a board. Then I added to the project the software and the library for the gesture recognition STSW-IMG035, specific to M33 processor. Compiling, I have this error:Description Resource Path Location TypeC:\Users\USER\Contenitore\b-u585_VL53L5_Gesture\STSW-IMG035_M33\libGesturesMZ.a(gwmz.o): in function `setPolarLevelController': b-u585_VL53L5_Gesture C/C++ Problemmake: *** [makefile:68: b-u585_VL53L5_Gesture.elf] Error 1 b-u585_VL53L5_Gesture C/C++ Problemundefined reference to `taylor_atan' b-u585_VL53L5_Gesture line 0, external location: c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.8.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.9-2020-q2-update.win32_2.0.0.202105311346\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: gwmz.c C/C++ Problemundefined reference to `taylor_sqrt' b-u585_VL53L5_Gesture line 0 C/C++ Problem It seem to me that taylor_atan and taylor_sqrt, called from setPolarLevelControl

I am currently using STM32WB5MMGH6TR for product development. It is in STOP2 mode while advertising and RUN mode while pairing. I would like to make it so that when it is disconnected it goes back to STOP2 mode, but I am having trouble finding a good example. Is there any good way to do this?

I'm creating a new project for STM32G030F6P6 in STM32CubeMX. It says 32 kBytes flash. But when I look at the generated project in the file stm32g030xx_flash.icf it says:     /*###ICF### Section handled by ICF editor, don't touch! ****/ /*-Editor annotation file-*/ /* IcfEditorFile="$TOOLKIT_DIR$\config\ide\IcfEditor\cortex_v1_0.xml" */ /*-Specials-*/ define symbol __ICFEDIT_intvec_start__ = 0x08000000; /*-Memory Regions-*/ define symbol __ICFEDIT_region_ROM_start__ = 0x08000000; define symbol __ICFEDIT_region_ROM_end__ = 0x0800FFFF; define symbol __ICFEDIT_region_RAM_start__ = 0x20000000; define symbol __ICFEDIT_region_RAM_end__ = 0x20001FFF;   So it says to the linker that the flash memory is 0x08000000 - 0x0800FFFF (this is 64 kBytes flash).I have tested saving data on address 0x0800f800. This works. And STM32CubeProgrammer is also able to read the data. The data sheet says this MCU shall have 32kByte flash but it works as a 64kByte.

In LPLTIM_IER register, the ARRMIE bit is SET by software and LPTIM_ISR register the bit ARRM bit is SET by hardware but this LPTIM4_IRQHandler() function is not calling. what might be the reason of not calling this function LPTIM4_IRQHandler() ?

Hello! I have two components (in SMB package probably). The markings are:1) ME G3 202 (no polarity stripe on package)2) EE G3 223 (with polarity stripe)Can you help me decipher what these elements may be and what may be the difference between ME and EE and the fact that one has polarity stripe and the other does not? RegardsC. Hello ,I recently bought the STWIN.box core system board (STEVAL-STWBXCS1), so I don't know everything about it. I would like to carry out a predictive maintenance project. I followed the steps below:1- flash the binary file with STM32CubeProgrammer2- acquire the data with hsdatalog_GUI.py, the DATALOG2 firmware script. So far, so good.3- Generate the IA library via NanoEdge Studio. In this step, I wanted to acquire the data directly on NanoEdge Studio AI, but the COM port of the STWIN.box is not recognized, so acquisition is impossible.I understand that the firmware uses a DFU mode and not a CDC so windows 10 doesn't recognize it. Is this correct? If so, how can I change this? But I did it another way, and managed to generate the NanoEdge IA library by importing the data files.4- integrate the generated library into the project. How do I do this? Are there any tutorials? After this step I'd like to know how to connect the STWIN.box to tera term to read the acquisition data. I understand

Is there any IC available to convert 4~20 mA current signals to 1 to 5V DC Voltage signals in the SOIC package?

Hi Everyone,I have implement this chip on my device and now i try to find tags LXMS21ACMF-218 from Murata. I have ported software from:https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-st25ru-sdk.htmland now i'm trying it with STUHFL_DEVICE_MODE set but without luck.It is configure issue? If yes how to setup SDK for this tags?Best,

Hiwe are working with a STM32H7 project. Recently we upgrade the packages and the Keil.STM32H7xx_DFP.2.5.0 grow up to DFP 3.1.1.Since the upgrading, the SPI start to fail (some data bits were wrong in every reading). Downgrading to DFP 2.5.0 it works fine again. What could be the problem with DFP 3.1.1? It seems some issue with the project migration...

Hello,According to the reference manual RM0456 7.3.3:"Prefetch is enabled by setting PRFTEN in FLASH_ACR.PRFTEN must be set only if at least one wait state is needed to access the flash memory" Compared to that I've seen that in the U5 HAL, in the function HAL_Init() there is a call to `__HAL_FLASH_PREFETCH_BUFFER_ENABLE()` (when `PREFETCH_ENABLE` is defined). This means that prefetch might be enabled even when there are 0 wait states to access flash memory (because this is not enforced), contradicting what the reference manual says. Is it intentional? or might cause undefined behavior?Thank you

Hello Community,I have several really large const arrays (with graphics data for LCD displays) which need not to be copied into RAM at startup, as this overflows my available RAM (on STM32F411 Discovery board). As there is no way to configure such behavior in STM32 Cube IDE I have tried to modify the linker scripts but GCC linker keeps ignoring my modifications.:face_with_rolling_eyes:Does anybody have experienced the same problems or have some ideas how to convince the linker not to copy that sort of data into RAM? Data access speed is no issue as the speed bottleneck is in any case the display (connected via SPI).Thank you for any ideas or suggestionsHerbert

I have been developing a program for the Nucleo-32 (STM32L412KBU6) board in Visual Studio Code's Platformio, and I have run into an interesting problem. I am able to build my project with no errors and upload it successfully. However, whenever the code is uploaded to the board, the program does not run. The only way that I can get it to run is by using the debugger to walk step by step through the code. Does anyone know of a solution to this strange issue? (I can drop my code here in a zipped file if I need to). Thanks, in advance, for the help.

Dear ST Community, Currently using the M24C64-A125 as EEPROM. We have a performance challenge in which we need to write a certain amount of data in less than 100ms. We checked the datasheet and we found out that The Page Write mode allows up to 32 bytes to be written in a single Write cycle. Which reduce the amount of time to 4ms maximum for 32 bytes. However, we are confused about the relationship with /WC pin. When we want to use the Page Write Mode, shall we pull up the WC pin untill the stop command is sent and then pull that down ? or it shall be pull down at the beginning of the transfer of data ?  RegardsRachid

Hello It's been days now that I'm trying to work with the CAN Communication on the U5A5ZJ-Q. I couldn't find any documentation on it (aside from the FDCAN), Hence, I would like to get some documentation on the board since there are CAN Tx and CAN Rx pins on the board but nothing such as this is mentioned in the documentation i could find. Thanks.

Hello,I have seen that in the new version of STM32CubeProgrammer (v 2.14.0) there's a new API that can be used to program a flash using DFU bootloader (API which I didn't see in my previous STM32CubeProgrammer).In addition to the writeMemory() now we have the editSector() function. But the description (reported in the .chm file) is quite the same. Anyone knows what's the difference between these two functions? Thanks all

I have a Nucleo-l432kc board that I actually fried by accident touching one of the pins with my power supply probes while they shared the same ground during a risky test of mine anyway the problem now is I can't find a replacement at the moment in my region and a shipment of Aliexpress would take some time I have some  Blackpills and Clone stlinks lying around but using those clones have no mass storage or Virtual com port feature My Question is can I use the stlink on my fried board somehow ? I think the stlink circuitry itself is working fine since the mass storage and the openocd commands are working fine except that the cpu won't respond to uploading any code

I have a STM32U595 with a 32.768kHz LSE oscillator.I wish to generate a 1ms/1kHz timebase with the accuracy/drift characteristics of the LSE, so naturally I went to make use of the "Hardware auto calibration with LSE (PLL-mode)" feature.Firstly, can I say that there is generally nowhere near enough detail for this feature in the STM32U5 documentation, which is probably a contributing factor to my issue. The L4 series has some random powerpoint presentations which shed a bit more light, but that's assuming this feature works the same in the U5 series. When I turn on MSI PLL-Mode, MSIK does not appear to lock to actual frequency specified. When I compare RTC calibration to MSIK fed to MCO on a 'scope MSIK does appear to phase lock in terms of drift. However, whereas the RTC calibration output is very very close to 1Hz, the MSIK frequency is actually worse then without the PLL-mode.To rule out the 'scope, I used my (supposedly) PLL'd MSIK as the kernel clock for a LPTIM (to avoid clock syn

ECO sources used (not git). Custom board based on STM32MP157AAA3.Both when using OPTEE in DDR and SRAM this issue occurs. The kernel reports an "cut here" and then reports:[ 0.273935] Unhandled fault: imprecise external abort (0x1c06) at 0x97638f7aThis seems to be a memory access violation. The 0x9 memory location seems to be in I/O space but information is hard to find. One slide from ST refers to 0x9000000-0x9FFFFFF as "STM".  Why would the kernel attempt to access this space. Hello,I'm use ST25R95. I'm facing problem with Tag detection in WEF mode. Its working fine with WEF from Time out and IRQ_In low pulse, But not get wake from sleep modewhen I configured it for a Tag detection.Observation: I seen during Tag Calibration that there is no change appear in result of calibration Idle command withTag or Without Tag, all time the pattern of response even without Tag or with Tag calibration is same. Obvious thatcalibration should be without Tag, but I tried with tag to check what changes happen in response from slave, but there is no change, I get always same response pattern.I'm use these commands for calibration and to put in WEF mode respectively, {ST25R95_COMMAND_IDLE, 0x0E, 0x03, 0xA1, 0x00, 0xF8, 0x01, 0x18, 0x00, 0x00, 0x60, 0x60, 0x00, 0x00, 0x3F, 0x01};{ST25R95_COMMAND_IDLE, 0x0E, 0x0A, 0x21, 0x00, 0x79, 0x01, 0x18, 0x00, 0x00, 0x60, 0x60, 0x74, 0x84, 0x3F, 0x08};Also with value of gRFAL.wum.cfg.indAmp.delta = 4U, Its woke up without Tag and r

Hello everyone, I try to connect the Nucleo-NFC08A1 board with a STM32F205VET6 via SPI. Hi guys:I had a project with a bootloader and an application, let me call them "BT1" and "APP1".I want to rewrite the "APP1" and already done, let me call the new app "APP2".Now the "BT1" can jump to "APP1", but can't jump to "APP2", I am sure the app address is the same.So I rewrote the "BT1" also, called "BT2". Amazing, the "BT2" jumps to "APP2" normally.I don't know actually why "BT1" to "APP1" and "BT2" to "APP2" is OK, but "BT1" to "APP2" or "BT2" to "APP1" failed.I check the bin file of "APP1" and "APP2" as below:(We can see both the APP start addresses are 0x08010000, and I also checked the Reset_Handler start address with the map file)Now, I want some help with why it happened, what should I try next, or how to debug this issue. Thanks!

Hello everyone,In my project i am using STM32F107VCT6 MCU. When i tried to control gpio pin it is not changing state from low-high/ high-low.  I am only getting issue with PB3. In hardware i have connected this pin to SCK pin of W25Q16. I have enabled gpio clock and set the mode of this pin to output_PP(Implementing SoftSPI).CODE SNIPPET:Note: Code generated in keil. I have enabled CMSIS core & selected required device files(Startup + GPIO,RCC & FRAMEWORK from StdPeriph Drivers)  I only want to use standard peripheral library(LL). I have tried it with other gpios & it is working absolutely fine. As well as PB3 is working fine if i use HAL. So please can you help what should be done in strandard peripheral library to make it work.

Hello Everyone,I tried the GFX02Z1 "HelloWorld" firmware example on the Nucleo H723ZG. Apparently the example does not work in DMA mode but alway gets stuck in DMA_TxErrorCallback. When switching to No DMA mode it works perfectly well.Did anyone encounter the same problem? Due to performance issues I'd really like to have the DMA mode running.I appreciate any help :)
