Good morning,I'm trying to program the user option bytes of the STM32C011 using the HAL. The objective of the test is to toggle the BOR bit.  static HAL_StatusTypeDef testOptionBytes() { FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef obInit = {0}; FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef obProgram = {0}; FLASH_OBProgramInitTypeDef obCmp = {0}; HAL_StatusTypeDef status = HAL_OK; HAL_FLASHEx_OBGetConfig(&obInit); status = HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); assert(status == HAL_OK); status = HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock(); assert(status == HAL_OK); obProgram.OptionType = OPTIONBYTE_USER; obProgram.USERType = OB_USER_BOR_EN; obProgram.USERConfig = (obInit.USERConfig & OB_USER_BOR_EN) ^ OB_USER_BOR_EN; status = HAL_FLASHEx_OBProgram(&obProgram); assert(status == HAL_OK); HAL_FLASH_OB_Lock(); HAL_FLASH_Lock(); HAL_FLASHEx_OBGetConfig(&obCmp); assert(obInit.USERConfig != obCmp.USERConfig); return status; } When I step through the HAL code everything looks fine, the FLASH->OPTR register is wr

Hello, i've been using a couple of VL53L4CX tof for a month with no problem so far, but recently i bought a few more and none of these work. (These new ones are the same model that the ones that worked).Analyzing with a digital osciloscope the I2C commands i saw a difference between this two.Apparently the two tofs seems to be sending without a problem the init commands, but when it tries to access this register (VL53LX_GPIO__TIO_HV_STATUS 0x0031), the one that works answers with a 0x02, meanwhile the bad one responds with a 0x03 (I attached both screenshots).This happens in the driver's function VL53LX_GetMeasurementDataReady, when it calls VL53LX_is_new_data_ready in vl53lx_wait.c (I attached also a screenshot of this function) Does anyone know why is this happening? Could it be solved by software? Or it's a hardware issue?

Please tell me the brightness range of sunlight that VL53L5CX can be used with.

Hi everyone,I am using a STWINKT1B and I am trying to evaluate its power consumption while operating. The Wifi communication always works well when I power the board by the battery or the USB port but never when I plug it to my voltage source (5V on J5). To be precise, I'm using the STWIN BSP drivers available here  and es_wifi firmware by freertos available here. For the Wifi module to be initialized it requires that it first raise a data ready signal which is on PE11.Unfortunately when the board is powered though the external source, this signal is never raised and the Wifi connection never occurs.  Im wondering how changing the power source can change the code behaviour, maybe the code has some unpredictable behaviour, but it's mostly drivers, almost no custom code is executed before it gets stuck. Thanks for your help.

MCU: STM32H725FLASH: Internal SDRAM:External The driver used is the one used in H735-DK.I am experiencing an issue where some images (pixels) are not displayed correctly on the LCD and I am trying to debug it.I have two questions:How to verify if data has been correctly stored in the framebuffer (0x90000000)?In debug mode, after the screen appears, I paused the operation and checked the framebuffer address (0x90000000) using the memory monitor provided by STM32CubeIDE. I would like to confirm if this method is correct.For Box widgets, I confirmed that data is stored in the framebuffer address using the above method. However, for Text widgets, data was not found in the framebuffer address.I used the method mentioned above because it seems that the pause function during write in the memory monitor is not working for SDRAM using MDMAI would like to know the data path from the framebuffer through TouchGFX to LTDC.Before exporting data via H/W RGB interface, I want to ensure the data is cor

Hi there, I may ask something **bleep** or impossible, but I want to try. Is there a way to debug (or at least look at the fault registers) a running MCU in a Fault state? In my case, I have an STM32H735g (so Cortex M7) which runs a FreeRTOS-based code (quite a complex project), and now I'm facing the splendid situation of random system crashes, not replicable, on on-field running devices that, of course, don't have a debugger plugged in. I'm wondering if there's a way to use tools like STM32cube Programmer in order to read the registers of a running MCU, or some magical trick done with other tools...  Any help or suggestion is warmly accepted, thanks a lot

How can i use the ST25R3911B-DISCO without the GUI of ST? Maybe with the help of the Framework, but how can I use the code or is there any documentation, because i can not found any.

Hi,A customer is in the process of sending to manufacture a 5V, 15 segments and 8 planes, custom LCD. I wonder whether the STM32L073 mcu is going to be capable of driving such display. Put it in other words: whether 3.3V is going to be good enough for driving the segments and planes.I want to use this mcu because its integrated LCD driver, however, I'm affraid it can't. I'm attaching the specs.I'm just starting the hardware design, and I really don't want to use an external driver, like the ubiquitous HT16C22.  Thank you!

Hi,I would like to try the hello world program from Stem win on my discovery  board. Stem Win is not supported in STM cube ideCan anyone tell me how to proceed further to create and implement the project.Which IDE should I use.

I would like to use the Murata Wi-Fi/BT combo module 2BC on STM32MP1.Is it possible?If it is possible, I would like to know how to integrate 2BC on STM32MP1. I understand following.- Murata 1DX are mounted on STM32MP1 evaluation board.- Murata has the necessary FMAC and other files.  https://github.com/murata-wireless- CYW4373 description in the file below.  https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/include/linux/mmc/sdio_ids.h  Best Regards,Tsutsumi

Hi,I am using LSM6DSO32X using SPI communication in TI AM2634 Chip.By default, I made a packet of Ctrl1_xl and Ctrl2_xl to 0x10b0 0x1110, and the Accel data and GYRO data were output.I saw Datasheet, but it's too hard to understand what each register is playing.Can you tell me the appropriate Register setting example?Can you tell me how to use LPF?The figure shows the data output to my register settings.From the top left, Accel X, Y, Z, Gyro P, R, Y. Also, how do you correct each Accel value and GYRO value?Do I have to implement it in my own software? Thank you

Hi,I am using a PCM3060 codec connected to a STM32MP135 MPU over I2S1 and I2C, and compiling STM Linux (v6.1) (along with STM's version of TF-A, Optee, and U-Boot) using Buildroot.I had some trouble getting ALSA to output to the codec, it kept giving the response:  44004000.audio-controller-pcm3060-dac: ASoC: pcm3060-dac <-> 44004000.audio-controller No matching formats  I managed to work around the issue by changing the formats entry in snd_soc_dai_driver, in pcm3060.c (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/linux/blob/7928f69738d2e57ee2a0dba6e9e680a3bf75ded9/sound/soc/codecs/pcm3060.c#L189) to SNDRV_PCM_FMTBIT_S32_LE.  #define PCM3060_FORMATS (SNDRV_PCM_FMTBIT_S32_LE) static struct snd_soc_dai_driver pcm3060_dai[] = { { .name = "pcm3060-dac", .id = PCM3060_DAI_ID_DAC, .playback = { .stream_name = "Playback", .channels_min = 2, .channels_max = 2, .rates = PCM3060_DAI_RATES_DAC, .formats = PCM3060_FORMATS, }, .ops

Page I of this document contains the top and bottom views of the STM32U5A9J-DK board.BUT...Page 17 shows a 'different' picture when describing the configuration of the board for using STLINK-V3E.Is there an updated version of this document that fixes this mismatch?

I am trying to implement a SSI Slave Protocol on a STM32 Board. Since the STM32 Boards don't have a SSI interface, I used its SPI interface in Slave(Transmit only mode). The master SSI sends 24 clock signals and the slave reacts by sending its data(3 Bytes) over the MISO pins. The problem I am facing is that the data is always shifted on the left on every clock signal coming from the master. For example assuming I am constantly sending 0x010101 from slave.At first transmission the master receives 0x010101At Second transmission the master receives 0x020202At third transmission the master receives 0x040404Can someone please give me some hints on how to solve this problem?

Dear Sirs! I use in my design LMV321LICT manufactured by STMicroelectronics. And I faced very strange behavior.LMV321LICT powered by +3V in mode of buffer or non inverting amplifier.When for example there is +1.5V DC in plus input and gain 2, I see about +3V in output (no load).. It really work as rail to rail amplifier as expected.But when there is +3V DC in plus input and gain 1, I see about +2.5 V on output (no load) but I expected to see +3V.I have not found in datasheet any limitations about input voltage.Can you please explain?Is it a correct behavior for this amplifier or something wrong in my board?Best regardsMichael

Hello everyone! I have difficulties to run the 2.8.0 Linux Demo (the latest one) the X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 with the ST25R3916B on Linux/Raspberry both with SPI as well as the less oftendused I2C. I don't have the interface board "ARPI600" to interface the Nucleo to the RPi, so I've made a manual connection. I have tried two different Rasperries (very old RPi 1 and a modern RPi 2 Zero W), with SPI and I2C, yet no success with either connection method with both RPIs. I am providing +3.3 and 5V from the Rasperry to CN6, PowerLED on the Nucleo is on.I checked after all my failed trials - others did make it the same way:https://community.st.com/t5/st25-nfc-rfid-tags-and-readers/st25r3911b-disco-to-raspberry-pi-not-working-using-same/m-p/228869 I am using the same mapping to the RPi pin header. Raspberry Pi Zero (latest Bullseye, Kernel 6.1.21-v7+ ) where "raspinfo" shows the SPI and I2C settings.GPIO 2: level=1 fsel=4 alt=0 func=SDA1GPIO 3: level=1 fsel=4 alt=0 func=SCL1GPIO 7: level=0

I used TOUCHGFX 4.22.1 to generate code and used IAR 9.40.1 to open the project. When build the project, it shows missing the the file 'Middlewares/Third_Party/FreeRTOS/Source/portable/IAR/ARM_CM4F/port.c' , Could you provide a patch to fix it ? Thanks for your help. @Osman SOYKURT

Hi,I want to use the BLUENRG-M2SP for an application and I want to test this BLE module before designing a HW. For this, I have a NUCLEO F411RE and a NUCLEO BNRG2A1.I wonder if it's possible to use STM32CubeMonitor-RF as a serial terminal in order to send ACI commands from a computer to the BNRG2A1 thorugh the USB dongle provided with the P-NUCLEO-WB55.Thanks in advanced,David

The LPTIM_TypeDef struct that is used throughout many of the HAL header files contains a few RESERVED fields that cover unused address offsets in the peripheral's memory map.The first of these, RESERVED1, is declared as uint16_t. I believe that this is incorrect and that it should be a uint32_t field to ensure that the address offsets of the subsequent fields are correct.Could someone please double-check and correct this if necessary?

Hi,I am looking for an appropriate RFID reader IC for reading multiple tags simultaneously. The reader should be able to read 50-300 RFID stickers attached to packages stored in a container. Also the reader should cover a distance of 1m - 3m. Is there any reader IC available from ST. I saw one ST25RU3993, but its evaluation kit is obsolete and not recommended for new design. Is there any reader IC available from ST that can read multiple tags at once?Regards,Shijo Thomas

Hey! I want to test the functionalities of EMW3080 wifi module using the given example. When I run http command as shown in the readme file, it should download the example .bin file. Where can I find the file's location? I looked into the http_file_download function and it seems to only store the file in a local varible called p_buffer and calls tx_byte release(p_buffer) when exits the function. There seems no action to store it in the flash or somewhere? Thanks! https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeH5/tree/66f1a02802658fd01a404e770252b5ffc63986dd/Projects/STM32H573I-DK/Applications/NetXDuo/Nx_Network_Basics_wifi

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.We downloaded STSW-ST25R017 library to use ST25R95 in our new product.The projects in this library are based on STM32L476RG-Nucleo board.Our MCU is STM32F405RG, Is there a straightforward way we can replace STM32F405RG library with STM32L476RG library or we have to generate new CubeIDE project?Thanks in advance.Best regards.

Hi, I tried the Hello World application on Cortex-A7, I want to try linking my custom application library in this example. Can I do that?I changed the print_hello function and calling another function from my custom library.I tried linking custom library in Makefile byLDFLAGS += $(shell pkg-config --libs gtk+-3.0) -lxxxxx.aThe library file is in the same folder. But Get the below error: arm-ostl-linux-gnueabi-gcc -mthumb -mfpu=neon-vfpv4 -mfloat-abi=hard -mcpu=cortex-a7 --sysroot=/home/usr-x/STM32MPU_workspace/Developer-Package/SDK/sysroots/cortexa7t2hf-neon-vfpv4-ostl-linux-gnueabi -o gtk_hello_world gtk_hello_world.c -O2 -pipe -g -feliminate-unused-debug-types -Wall -pthread -I/home/usr-x/STM32MPU_workspace/Developer-Package/SDK/sysroots/cortexa7t2hf-neon-vfpv4-ostl-linux-gnueabi/usr/include/gtk-3.0 -I/home/usr-x/STM32MPU_workspace/Developer-Package/SDK/sysroots/cortexa7t2hf-neon-vfpv4-ostl-linux-gnueabi/usr/include/gio-unix-2.0 -I/home/usr-x/STM32MPU_workspace/Developer-Package
