Hello, I am trying to program Can Bus protocol with two stm32 boards. I used MCP2551 and VP230 can transiciever but both of them doesnt work or my code doesnt work I dont know. I am programming normal mode. My purpose is when press the any button of boards the other board read the data of button interrupt and blink the led. This is for beginning. I am in progress of learning Can Bus protocol and this problem destroy me please help me :) Here is my code  /* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */ CAN_TxHeaderTypeDef pHeader; CAN_RxHeaderTypeDef pRxHeader; CAN_FilterTypeDef sFilterConfig; uint32_t pTxMailbox; uint8_t count=0; uint8_t rcount=0; /* USER CODE END 0 */         /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_GPIO_Init(); MX_CAN1_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ HAL_CAN_Start(&hcan1); // Activate Interrupts HAL_CAN_ActivateNotification(&hcan1,CAN_IT_RX_FIFO0_MSG_PENDING); // set transmit parameteres pHeader.DLC = 1; pHeader.IDE = CAN_ID_STD; pHeader.RTR =

I'm developing a board with an STM32L452 and would like to find out if I can improve power consumption while it remains connected via USB (as a device). I've tried putting the device to sleep using the following code: while (1) { // ... do stuff HAL_SuspendTick(); HAL_PWR_EnterSLEEPMode(PWR_MAINREGULATOR_ON, PWR_SLEEPENTRY_WFI); HAL_ResumeTick(); } My configuration for USB is CDC and has SOF, Low power, and Link power management enabled. I've tried changing these settings, but none of these seem to make a difference. The issue is the USB IRQ keeps the device from staying in sleep mode, so there's very little difference in power usage overall. I would like to keep the USB connection, otherwise the host pc software would have to poll and try reconnecting constantly. I know the host can tell the device to suspend, but is there a way the USB device can tell the host to pause and continue if either the host or device have something to communicate? Sort of like SDMMC can d

I am casting a Byte array (results from ADC) to a long, but occasionally - about 1:100000, it get the sums wrong.  I've got to the line in the code where it goes wrong, and it is when it is casting a byte array to a long (I use union Method). //Signed ADC Value - so 24-bit value can be shifted in union { uint8_t b[4]; int32_t l; }I32ADCValue;    //Populate the Raw mV Array for(i=0;i<8;i++)//Loop for each channel { I32ADCValue.b[3]=ads1298rData.ADCMsg.Channel[i][0]; I32ADCValue.b[2]=ads1298rData.ADCMsg.Channel[i][1]; I32ADCValue.b[1]=ads1298rData.ADCMsg.Channel[i][2]; I32ADCValue.b[0]=0; //Channels are not in sequence - create temporary array here. mVx[i]=(I32ADCValue.l*Gain_mV); }  When I run the debugger, it is having too bit a blue in I32ADCValue.l - in fact where I set .b[0] to 0, it is not after it has cast it.....any clues?

pls suggest a example for reader/writer/formatter for NFC03A1are there any writer example code for RPi similar to poller example ?https://community.st.com/t5/st25-nfc-rfid-tags-and-readers/x-cube-nfc3-for-stm32cube/td-p/591339i didnot find the source for the same..i did notice X-CUBE-NFC3 , Ver 2.1.0 is availablehttps://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-nfc3.html

Hi to all, I'm starting a new project with ST25R95 and X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 as demo board. I have two question about example usage:1) I can't find X-CUBE-NFC3 package in cube MX (only 4 and 6 are avaiable). How can I add this package to Cube MX configurator ?2) I downloaded the package X-CUBE-NFC3 from the site, but the import of the examples for the F401RE board is not successful (as for all the ST examples). I entered all the dependencies manually, but the rfal_dpoTbl.h file is missing. Where can I find it? Thanks to all.

For implementing our own hardware, I'm using the Board description of a B-G431B-ESC1 as a template. The "motorDrives" object declares some properties, like "maxRatedCurrent", "minRatedVoltage", "maxRatedVoltage" and "resistorOffset".None of those are described in the Motor Control Boards Description documentation. What are those properties for?

I have a uart peripheral whose baud rate can only be set to 3.125M. However, the baud rate of another uart peripheral with the same clock configuration in the project can be set to 12.5M. I want to know what the baud rate limit is based on？ How to increase the baud rate from 3.125M to 12.5M？

Hello all, As part of the evaluation of the 32MP15 series, I was trying to build the u-boot and TF-A binaries. I tried the u-boot SPL bring up and it seems to be working fine (except for failure to launch the Linux Kernel, as per your late updates). For U-boot, I used : https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/u-bootAnd Build commands:   $  make -j12 stm32mp15_defconfig   $  make -j12 DEVICE_TREE=stm32mp157d-dk1 allFor TF-A binary, I used : https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/arm-trusted-firmware/tree/v2.8-stm32mpAnd Build command of BL32 (SP MIN mode):$ make -j12 ARM_ARCH_MAJOR=7 ARCH=aarch32 PLAT=stm32mp1 AARCH32_SP=sp_min DTB_FILE_NAME=stm32mp157d-dk1.dtb bl32 dtbsand Build command of BL2: make -j12 ARM_ARCH_MAJOR=7 ARCH=aarch32 PLAT=stm32mp1 STM32MP_SDMMC=1 STM32MP15=1 DTB_FILE_NAME=stm32mp157d-dk1.dtb LOG_LEVEL=40 DEBUG=1 and to generate FIP binary from TF-A Makefile, I used: $ make ARM_ARCH_MAJOR=

I have a custom built  STM32MP131FAF7T board and can't set my VOUT2. The only line that is down is my VDD DDR Lines since I can't program my PMIC (STPMIC1DPQR) to have the VOUT2 to be 1.35 volts instead of 1.1 volts. My VCPU is at 1.2V, VDD is at  3.3V and VCORE is at 1.2V.

In the ScreenView(), Iam adding a handleTick function and trying to update the value for every one second. The value is updating according to the code I have written. But at the time of updation my screen is flickering.May I know what is the reason? And I am initializing the external SDRAM peripheral and not configuring the MPU related things.Thank you.

Hello everyone,  I'm exploring the feasibility of transitioning from 2x Teensy 4.0 boards to an STM32H755XI for a sensor-intensive application. The project involves interfacing with 16 VL53L4CX sensors and managing their data acquisition and processing. The Teensy boards have been efficient so far, but I'm considering the STM32H755XI for potential performance improvements and to consolidate the design. Also, this would implemented on a custom-designed PCB rather than off-the-shelf components.  I'm seeking guidance on whether the STM32H755XI is well-suited for handling multiple VL53L4CX sensors, particularly in terms of its I2C capabilities and ability to manage these sensors efficiently. If there are specific advantages or considerations to keep in mind when transitioning from the Teensy 4.0 to the STM32H755XI for this application, I would greatly appreciate any insights. Thank you in advance for any advice or recommendations.

Hello,We will development IoT panel platform. We are examining STM32MP135 product for use in the project. However, there is something we are worried about. Is it possible to use VOIP SIP directly with this linux image? It will be used directly through the PBX server (asterisk, etc.).In fact, we are wondering whether we will need to do additional development at the linux kernel level. Can you publish example works for us?

Hi people...I couldn't able to get live expressions on debug can anyone help me to find a solution

I am using Netx secure for TLS implementation.here my requirement is to establish a TLS connection with mutual authentication (client and server).I am able to establish the proper handshake with Mutual authentication but the problem is when I try to authenticate the client with chain of certificates (one client certificate + 2 intermediate certificate) when I’m using only client certificate for the authentication the handshake is happening successfully. But when I’m using 2 certificate handshake is failing. Here I’m using nex_secure_tls_local _certificate _add In order to add client certificate and intermediate certificate. Here I’m concatenating client certificate and intermediate certificate and passing through the above mentioned Netx api. Please suggest proper implementation method to establish client authentication.

Hi,as in the object I'm trying to create a new pack starting form an existing on a DFP (Device Family Package) for  SMT32L4 already published, specifically this one:   Keil.STM32L4xx_DFP.2.6.2downloadable here:   https://www.keil.arm.com/packs/stm32l4xx_dfp-keil/ We have already a custom PCB built on stm32l451rctx so my goal was to try create a custom package starting from an existing one and this is what I did:1. Start STM32CubeMX2. In tab "External Tools" start "STM32PackCreator"3. Click on "Create New Project from pack"4. Select the above mentioned pack and filled all mandatory field an start the project creation At this point the tool is correctly able to unzip the original pack but then it got stuck there:Checking filesystem the original pack has effectively been unzipped but don't unterstand why it got stuck: Any help would be appreciated. Regards,Silvio Taurisano

Good morningCould you please provide me with the part number of the component in the image ?I attach a linkhttps://1drv.ms/i/s!Ajq7wiTh-c6nhJsS3VS-GZIVd5U5lQ?e=dXQPAw Thank youRegards

I use old Viper design software v2.24 for Viper53 design. Last time the program generate an error at startup (see attach). Reinstall, registry cleanup do not help to fix this error. Please, help.

Hi, I am trying to measure the Vref+ voltage using the ADC on the STM32G031K8. I looked at the latest datasheet saying that the VREF CAL value is the memory adress given below.   So, when I run this code through the debugger,1.) It gives me a hard fault handler on the dereferencing of the VREF_CAL pointer. 2.) When I remove the dereferencing code, the program runs without the hard fault handler. Can anyone please explain this or assist with this problem ?. As the supply voltage in my application varies and an accurate ADC is of critical importance and safey. Thanks, Daniel

Good morning everyone,I'm at my first experience with STM and between guides and tutorials I'm learning many things. But I wanted to configure a 32bit TIM5 timer on my STM32F446 board, I would like my timer to calculate a sample every 0.000001s, only if I configure the timer I expect 1000000 samples to correspond to a second, but the timer output seems different .Additionally if I configure the timer to 0.00001 sample at 100000 samples it gives me the correct result per second. For the TIM5 calculations I ran Prescale 1 and Overflow at 41 with 84MHz sampling time, it doesn't work.Conversely, if I set OverFlow to 419 I can get the correct timer but with fewer samples.I need a sample every 0.000001s, where am I wrong?I hope I was clear enough, happy new year to all of you.

Dear SIR,What is the max number of external inputs using interrupt at the same time?In my application, it uses 22 GPIO as external input as Fig.1.1. I use STM32CubeMx to set "PB1" to "GPIO_EXT1" then set "PC1" to "GPIO_EXT1", after setting "PC1", the "PB1" change to unassigned state? it seems not allowed to set PinX1 at the same time? (see Fig.0)I want to hook an interrupt for each external input, but it seems not workable after I see the document and codesee Fig.2, Fig.3 and Fig.42. The max external input using interrupt is 16, is my understanding correct?3. If it supports more than 16 external input pins, how to set it in STM32CubeMx?Fig. 0 Fig.1 Fig.2 Fig.3Fig.4

One of the practices of software design is to use volatile buffers when ISR and main loop access the data in the same buffers. This makes sure certain compiler register optimisations do not create unreliable code.If I look at the HAL code for the USART for example:   /** * @brief TX interrupt handler for 7 or 8 bits data word length . * @note Function is called under interruption only, once * interruptions have been enabled by HAL_UART_Transmit_IT(). * huart UART handle. * @retval None */ static void UART_TxISR_8BIT(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) { /* Check that a Tx process is ongoing */ if (huart->gState == HAL_UART_STATE_BUSY_TX) { if (huart->TxXferCount == 0U) { /* Disable the UART Transmit Data Register Empty Interrupt */ ATOMIC_CLEAR_BIT(huart->Instance->CR1, USART_CR1_TXEIE); /* Enable the UART Transmit Complete Interrupt */ ATOMIC_SET_BIT(huart->Instance->CR1, USART_CR1_TCIE); } else { huart->Instance->TDR = (uint8_t)(*huar

Hello,I am trying to use the RTC on a F401CCU6, but the values of the RTC don't change, and stay to what values I've set them in the IOC. I'm using the following function to get the time, and I read the values in the debugger. RTC_TimeTypeDef sTime;HAL_RTC_GetTime(&hrtc, &sTime, RTC_FORMAT_BCD);The subseconds increments, but seconds and minutes don't. When I add an alarm, the alarm works correctly, triggering every second. The alarm follow the code present here https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Getting_started_with_RTC. Removing the alarm does not change anything. I've also tried with a Nucleo f303k8, but even the alarm did not work.Thank you for your time, I've added my configuration below.  static void MX_RTC_Init(void){/* USER CODE BEGIN RTC_Init 0 *//* USER CODE END RTC_Init 0 */RTC_TimeTypeDef sTime = {0};RTC_DateTypeDef sDate = {0};RTC_AlarmTypeDef sAlarm = {0};/* USER CODE BEGIN RTC_Init 1 *//* USER CODE END RTC_Init 1 *//** Initialize RTC Only*/

Hi all, i'm experimenting using ADC  in STM32H743ZI2i managed to get the single channels working on ADC1 and ADC2,and i want to use ADC3 with multiple channels, oncourse i followed all the manuals in youtube etc.. but still no lucki am using ADC3 channels 1 5 6 8.i am transferring the data to DMA and i am waiting for the conversion to finish but it never does.any help or ideas will be appreciated. these are my settings and code (with all the insignificant parts cleared off)many thanks!  uint8_t convCompleted=0; void HAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback(ADC_HandleTypeDef *hadc){printf("convcmplt:  %d\n",hadc);convCompleted=1;}   int main(void){   HAL_Init();  SystemClock_Config();  PeriphCommonClock_Config();   MX_GPIO_Init();  MX_ADC1_Init();  MX_ADC2_Init();  MX_ADC3_Init();  MX_BDMA_Init();   HAL_ADC_Start_DMA(&hadc3, (uint32_t *)rawValues, 4);   while(1)  {  while(!co
