Hi, I need 60370 class-B certification, but without incorporating libraries that we cannot check ourselves. So, I rather develop bare-metal tests than dropping the X-CUBE-CLASSB object into the code. Testing the Cortex-M0 core should be possible with just about 100 lines of assembly, much more efficient than a library full of functions we do not need. Is that code available, can someone help me? thanks, Henk

Hello,I'm working on artificial intelligence on STM32H747. I started my work with projects on FP-AI-VISION. First, I solved the display problem caused by NT35510 and tried the project again. When I tried it, I got the look in the first photo. At first I couldn't understand what was happening because I thought the problem would be solved when I fixed the screen. Afterwards, I debugged the code and saw that the BSP_CAMERA_INIT function branched to Error Handler. I looked into what error message I was getting and saw that I was getting the BSP_ERROW_UNKNOWN_COMPONENT error. How can I solve this problem? I just unpacked the camera so I hardly find the risk of the camera getting a hardware fault. Do I need any extra action to operate the camera?Best Regards,Bedirhan Köksoy I

if I make my own widget, can it be added to the palette among the supplied widgets? The second question is about the properties panel. I can somehow configure it for a custom widget and put my widget parameters on it.If it cannot be added to the widget panel, I would use a custom container. Can a properties panel be set for a custom container? thxJN

Hi All, I am trying to develop a loader application to load a firmware image on to the NOR flash memory using QUAD SPI. I am not sure about the NOR flash memory part available on the STM32H747I-eval board. There is only limited details on it as it obsolete. I am planning to use the "1-Gbit twin Quad-SPI NOR flash memory or two 512-Mbit Quad-SPI NOR flash" as in the user manual. Assuming the part is Micron - MT25QL01GB it tried to erase a sector. But it did not work. I configured the M7 core for quad SPI. Below is my QSPI setting also attaching my main.c and QSPI files. I am new with QSPI and NOR Flash memories. Am I doing something wrong?  Your help appreciated! Thanks,Senhqspi.Instance = QUADSPI;hqspi.Init.ClockPrescaler = 2;hqspi.Init.FifoThreshold = 4;hqspi.Init.SampleShifting = QSPI_SAMPLE_SHIFTING_NONE;hqspi.Init.FlashSize = 25;hqspi.Init.ChipSelectHighTime = QSPI_CS_HIGH_TIME_1_CYCLE;hqspi.Init.ClockMode = QSPI_CLOCK_MODE_0;hqspi.Init.FlashID = QSPI_FLASH_ID_1;hqspi

I use the NUCLEOH563-ZI board and I want to use RTC. I configured the RTC with the LSI clock. I loaded a default date/time. On the other hand, my time does not change...My Init code :My source code to retrieve the timeThank you for your help !Ghislain

I am making use of TIMERs in STM32 in interrupt mode, and my doubt lies in its settings. It is known the formula to calculate the update event is given by: UpdateEvent = Timerclock / (Prescaler+1)(Period+1)Considering that the TimerClock is 48MHz and I wish an Update Event of 0.5s. In theory, it can be achieved with different combinations of prescaler and period values. My question is, how does the choice of the Prescaler and Period influence the system, is it better to have a higher Prescaler and a lower Period or vice-versa or it does not have a relevant impact at all?timer

I'm quite new to STM32, and I'm trying to get LwIP up and running on my NUCLEO-H723ZG. No matter what I've tried so far, my board has always goes into HardFault, specifically during MX_LWIP_Init(), when the HAL calls etharp_raw(). Here is the full call stack for reference:Here are the lines of code in etharp.c in which the HardFault occurs:etharp_request_dst():etharp_raw():These are the steps I followed so far:Set up a new CubeIDE project for the NUCLEO-H723ZG board, and enabled:Speculation, ICache, DCache, MPUDebug with Trace Async SwUSB Device, CDC class (I need it)FreeRTOS with CMSIS_V2, USE_NEWLIB_REENTRANTETH, Rx descriptor to 0x30000000, Tx descriptor to 0x30000100LwIP, LAN8742 interface, heap pointer to 0x30000200Set my clock configuration to use the High Speed Internal RC (this NUCLEO board doesn't have a HSE crystal), 550MHz clock Set the SYS timebase to TIM6Followed the detailed guide by @Adam BERLINGER in this forum postSet up the MPU

Hi,I'm having a hard time to find a supplier for an o-ring to get the ILPS28QSW sensor waterproof. In AN5937 ST mentioned they use an o-ring with: ID 1.8mm, thickness 0.5mm (see picture below)Does anyone here know any supplier who make these, or have used another size with good results? For example if a thickness of 0.75mm would work? I'm afraid the o-ring might be to big?And FYI: The cylinder formed hole for the sensor is very similar to the one ST is using in AN5937  O-ring from AN5937:Dimensions of the ILPS28QSW from the datasheet:

Hello!I have an ART_PI board with STM32H750XBHX MCU and W25Q64 FLASH IC on it.I want to make my own loader, but it doesn't work as it should.Running until the memcmp cycle, I look at the memory map. But the content is not good. There are values 00000000, 11111111, 22222222 instead of 00, 01, 02. Thus, memory comparison is not good.I can't find the error.I am attaching the files and the picture showing the memory map. Thanks for the help!

I have made a simple program flashing LED's from both cores and sending data between the two cores using a struct that resided on the same memory space for both.I used latest STM32CubeMX (Version: 6.9.2), STM32CubeIDE (Version: 1.14.1), and latest STLink firmware. It kept working reliable, until I added a few more peripherals to the project. After that I suddenly got programming errors, like:"No STM32 targets found"I needed to use STM32CubeProgrammer to erase the chip, where I only could connect using mode "Power down".After this, I could download (Download verified successfully), but the cores do not start anymore. After a few attempts, I get these errrors again:Starting server with the following options:Persistent Mode : DisabledLogging Level : 1Listen Port Number : 61234Status Refresh Delay : 15sVerbose Mode : DisabledSWD Debug : EnabledInitWhile : EnabledTarget no device foundError in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: No device found on target. I tried several settings in STM32

I'm tring to detect tag infomation by ST25R95.Main board is STM32L476RG.I got the sample code from https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-nfc3.html.Example commands are descripted in the datasheet https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/st25r95.pdf.However SPI commands that sample code actually sends are different.Do you have register map of ST25R95 or more detailed datasheet ?

Hello people, i am making a project using STM32F407VG and i am using a timer that drives a laser. The problem is, when debugging STM is probably pulling couple of its pins to High state before i start F8 (between pressing the 'Debug' button and F8 to stop the program waiting at HAL_Init() function after i run the code it switches back to LOW state ) and messes up with my laser circuit. I want to know which pins go to High state and why, and see if i can control it i really have to deny it pulling to high state. Thanks for the help. Have a great day !

so my project consists of : exploiting the serial communication to send the conversion data from ADC1 Channel 1 in ASCII format and considering a verification scenario for the program's functionality.about the verification scenario i visualize it in "putty" and it is right (i'm using a potentiometer like an analog input to my ADC ) (i also used a multimeter to know that adc is reading the input correctly)  and i get logique outputs is there any other thing i need to check that UART communication is set perfectly any verification scenario i should also implement???

when i downloaded the code from cube ide and then try to visualize it with putty it works perfectly but when i moved the project to keil and then download it from there i didn't got the same result ascii is stuck at number 8 and it's not showing the write output related to volatge what should i do ?? , do i need some new configurations on keil cause i'm not getting any error neither warnings !!!!   here's the function of to convert an integer to ascii :char* shift_digits(int input_integer) {// Convert the integer to a stringchar input_str[20]; // Assuming a reasonable maximum length for the stringsprintf(input_str, "%d", input_integer);// Allocate memory for the result stringchar* result_str = malloc(3 * strlen(input_str)); // Each digit is shifted by 3 characters, and 2 extra characters for spaces and null terminator// Shift each digit by +48 and join them with spacesint index = 0;for (int i = 0; i < strlen(input_str); i++) {int shifted_digit = input_str[i] ;index +=

I have two STM32 micros connected via CAN transceivers.  The sending unit is transmitting without issue, as evidenced by measuring both the CANH/CANL bus wires, as well as the CAN_RX/CAN_TX logical wires on the transmitter.  I did have to slow the bus down significantly due to high capacitance (troubleshooting at 20 kbps; hope to increase speed once I get the situation figured out).  I am using classic 11-bit identifiers, subdivided into a 7-bit message type and a 4-bit node ID.I can see the ACK bit on the CAN wire, so I know the receiver in the chip is correctly identifying the frame.  However, the receiver's two FDCAN interrupts never fire.  I have both set the non-matching 11-bit identifier action to FDCAN_ACCEPT_IN_RX_FIFO0 as well as set a id/mask filter with a mask of 0, as well as a filter set up the way I would intend for my application.  I will now let the code speak for itself: First, the MX-generated initializer is called: static void

I'm trying to use SPI to communicate with a display (BT817) and whenever it tries to send data, the while (!LL_SPI_IsActiveFlag_RXNE(EVE_SPI)) {} never returns.  I've attached my CUBE IDE project.  Could anyone possibly give some guidance?  Am I missing a setting, have the clock misconfigured?  The board has a STM32F030R8Tx.Kindest regards

Is there an example for the x-cube-azrtos-l4 usbx stack showing how to implement the additional string descriptions and GET_OS_FEATURE_DESCRIPTOR features to allow an HID device to appear as WinUSB?

Hello all,I'm currently working on a project to detect multiple objects on a grid. I plan to put NFC tags on each object and use only one reader to detect all of them. One of the solution is to have one reader's antenna per cells. Is it possible for me to use multiplexers at the output of the matching circuit in single ended version of the ST25R3911B reader? Will the ST25R3911B reader be able to detect the signal coming from multiple antennas? Thanks and best regardsAzzam Zahra

I am developing an application for the STM32U575, and am currently testing on the Nucleo-U575ZI-Q. As per the reference manual (Rev. 4) Section 10.9 PWR Interrupts, Table 110 Note 1: "The PWR_S3WU interrupt is generated only when the device is in Stop 3 mode (not applicable in Run, Sleep, Stop 0, Stop 1, and Stop 2 modes)."However this is not the behaviour I am observing. I have found that the PWR_S3WU interrupt is generated whenever the Stop 3 mode is configured as the Deep Sleep Mode (i.e. PWR_CR1 LPMS[2:0] = 0b011), even if the stop mode is never entered. Can I please get confirmation what behaviour I can expect, for the nucleo and my target hardware (STM32U575VIT6Q)

Hii'm just sitting and messing with a few lora boards.I find that nucleo-WL55JC1 has approx 10dbm RSSI better than seeed LoRa-E5, and that nucleo-WL55JC1 also transmits with a more powerful signal, what is your experience ??with best regards

Hello,I would like to enable the dragged of the circle only in the horizontal direction for a customized container on which I only have a circle. I would also need to limit the left and right "stop" when dragging. I set up draggable and I can move the circle freely. Can you advise? Can I find a exaample somewhere?Thank youJN

Hi there!I'm experiencing a new trouble: trying to program a simple flash Word it results in an hard fault; moreover, also trying to read the same area gives an hard fault.Debugging the application I discovered that the HAL_FLASH_Unlock function fails.Since I already seen sutch code work, it's quite strange to me! b08t InitFLASHwrite(void) { /*.-.-.| Local variables: |.-.-.*/ b08t bIsError = FALSE; // Output error indication HAL_StatusTypeDef enuUnlock = HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); // Unlock state /*.-.-.| Execution: |.-.-.*/ // Unlock FLASH memory... if(enuUnlock == HAL_OK) { // No errors: __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_EOP | FLASH_FLAG_OPERR | FLASH_FLAG_WRPERR | FLASH_FLAG_PGSERR | FLASH_FLAG_WRPERR); // Clear pending flags (if any) // Needed after an update retry otherwise flash erase is not executed __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_ALL_ERRORS_BANK1); __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_ALL_ERRORS_BANK2); } else { bIsError = TRUE; // Else in

Hello members,I have problem with functionality of DMA data stream for ADC3 peripheral. I have H743ZIT controller. ADC1 with DMA is fully and properly working for each channel. I have placed ADC data array to RAM_D2 section for ADC1. For ADC3 I have used RAM_D3 section which should be proper for BDMA implementation. ADC3 seems to work good - because I see changes in DR register, but DMA transfer error occur immediately after HAL_DMA_IRQHandler is executing. Exactly this case is true:"else if (((tmpisr_bdma & (BDMA_FLAG_TE0 << (hdma->StreamIndex & 0x1FU))) != 0U) && ((ccr_reg & BDMA_CCR_TEIE) != 0U))"It leads to HAL_DMA_ERROR_TE error code. In attachment you can see some files with config. STM32CubeIDEVersion: 1.14.0Build: 19471_20231121_1200 (UTC) STM32CubeMX - STM32 Device Configuration ToolVersion: 6.10.0-RC9Build: 20231120-2037 (UTC)  Thank you very much for help.

Watching some videos online about FFT and trying to use (in STM32CubeIDE) the arm_rfft_fast_f32 function of the arm_math.h DSP library, it is not clear to me why the buffer output produced by that function is N/2 long and not NIs it something related to Shannon's theorem? To the symmetry of the spectrum? (i.e. is it symmetrical around the origin). You are welcome to share external links if there are detailed explanations that I did not see during my internet search.

Hi, do you have any suggestion of a mechanical test bench setup to verify (/evaluate) the chosen accelerometer parameters? I'm working with an LIS2DW12, but I expect my question applies to all accelerometers:I have configured the accelerometer to send me an interrupt as a certain threshold condition is fulfilled (INT1_WU enabled).I use my device in a situation in which, in my opinion, the threshold condition is fulfilled. Nonetheless, the accelerometer does not wake up. Note, the accelerometer can wake up, but only in the event of a stronger acceleration. In other words there is no electrical/mechanical problem with the device itself. Therefore, I see several possible culpritseither the acceleration in the real world situation is below my threshold (in which case I would have to lower the threshold(*)); and/orthe above-threshold value happens too shortly, so that the accelerometer didn't have time to react (a higher ODR might work(*)?); and/orthe housing(s) in which I've teste
