hi,The datasheet says "In this mode, the TCR flag is set when the number of bytes programmed in NBYTES is transferred"Does this mean that the flag will be set when the data is transferred from TXDR to shift register, Or, the flag will be only set if there is an ack from the slave after the data in the TXDR is sent ?   /* Send Memory Address */ hi2c->Instance->TXDR = I2C_MEM_ADD_LSB(MemAddress); I get a timeout randomly here in function I2C_RequestMemoryWrite(). Please note that no ErrorCode is set other than HAL_I2C_ERROR_TIMEOUT.  /* Wait until TCR flag is set */ if (I2C_WaitOnFlagUntilTimeout(hi2c, I2C_FLAG_TCR, RESET, Timeout, Tickstart) != HAL_OK) { Why does it take more than 25ms (default timeout) for a single byte to be transferred ?  PS It does work if increase the timeout.

I am currently working with a STM32G431RB and X-Nucleo-IHM08M1 and a motor with Halls. I want to drive 2 motors independently with the control board. Workbench seems to allow for 2 motors with FOC but not with the STM32G431RB.In fact, there appears to be no combination of control boards and power boards which allow me to generate a project from Workbench 6.2.1 for 2 motors with FOC. Could someone please give me some advice on how to do thisThanks

In this thread:2nd post by @andy_long  (between my 1st and 2nd post) is missing. Note, that in my 2nd post I am quoting from that missing post (> This is only reproducible if it is run continuously for an hour. and > Meanwhile, could you please answer the first part of the question ?)I don't remember seing post by @Luke_abc there (whatever's the reason it's empty now), but I may have missed that one.I don't like posts and whole threads disappearing, at all.Is this misguided work of moderators? Or are these the fist signs of the Khoros shebang starting to go down?JW

Hi, I'm using an STM32L053R6Tx chipI've implemented at TMR2_interrupt hander it gets triggered on ARR overflow and CC1FI'm using the interrupt to trigger a GPIO output to work like a PWM the- GPIO is high when CNT is less than CCR1- GPIO is low when CNT is greater than CCR1(I couldn't use the PWM hardware pin because its not wired to the correct pin on the circuit board hence i have to do it manually)the Timer 2 frequency with ARR = 200 is approx. 22khzThe code works as expected i.e. when CCR1 value triggers before the interrupt is completed e.g. for CCR1 values between 1-5 i.e. same PWM size for any value between 1-5. I expect this case. PWM is capped at approx. 2% (due to time it takes to execute the interrupt)For CCR1 value > 10 up to 200 the GPIO works normally as expected e.g. isCCR1 = 50 the PWM is 25% CCR1 = 100 give 50% PWMCCR1 = 200 give 100% PWM The problem I have is when I set CCR1 values between 6-8 I get 100% PWM output. Also note this only happens when I set t

Hello,I've been doing a small project lately and ran into a problem in one part. I have two STM32 microcontrollers and I want to communicate both of them with eachother over UART. One of them is designed to send a fixed array of 6 charactersuint8_t k[6]={3,7,9,12,16,19};The other microcontroller is simply to receive it. When I send a single byte over the UART it all works without a problem. When I want to send the whole array it only fills the first element. This first element is filled with random numbers from this sent array.I know for sure there is no problem on the sending side. I checked it on an oscilloscope. The problem lies in the receiving side.I suspect that the problem lies in the timing, but I don't know how to fix itIn both microcontrollers the baud rate is the same – 9600. The data frame is also the same 8N1. RX device code /* Private user code ---------------------------------------------------------*//* USER CODE BEGIN 0 */uint8_t buff[6];/* USER CODE END 0 */&

Hello, I would like to interface STM32U5G9 with SD Card. Looking at SensorTileBox.Pro schematic, I see that an SD Card Driver (st6g3244mebjr) is placed in the middle. What is the added value in using it? Thank you

Hello, My STM32F7 crash after Reinit the UART : - I have an UART for my RS232, and I can communicate to 2 devices by this RS232. So the customers choose on which device he want to send data, then I configure internals variables and the UART baudrate and flow control. - So I use the next fonction to reinit my UART : void RS232_Link_USART1_UART_ReInit(uint32_t BaudRate, uint32_t FlowCtrl) { HAL_UART_Abort_IT(&huart1); HAL_UART_DeInit(&huart1); huart1.Init.BaudRate = BaudRate; huart1.Init.HwFlowCtl = FlowCtrl; if (HAL_UART_Init(&huart1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } uint8_t buff; if (HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart1, &buff, 1) != HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } }   - This code works for 1 device but not for the other device. The thing that change is that the device which occure the crash send datas back after a transmit but we don't treat them. If I comment the part "HAL_UART_Receive_IT" it works, but I want to resolve the p

Hi,I tried to import the BLE Heart rate example from the Firmware Package (1.18.0), direct importing by the STM extension in VSCode (Cube IDE directory inside the project) seems to be not possible. If I choose 'Create a new appl. project' in the extension, open Ble_HeartRate.ioc in the project folder and change the project output to STM CubeIDE and generate the files, it is not compilable. Probably importing in Eclipse is more successful, but is there maybe a way to do it in VSCode? Greetings,Rémy Hurx

HelloSince the VN920D-B5 chip is not available, I am looking for a replacement. I am looking for another system with similar parameters. Please help me.

Can you tell me what the Data field holds in ACI_L2CAP_PROC_TIMEOUT_EVENT?Photo out of AN5270:Thanks

Hi community,I have a problem where Ethernet does not work when VOS is set from scale3 to scale2 or scale1 on a customer board. Please help us solve the problem. Clock and peripheral settings use code generated with CubeMX v6.9.1. The CPU is STM32H745IIK6.The Ethernet driver used is one that has been confirmed to work by our company. For VOS scale3, the Ethernet driver works normally. (attachment file: "EthernetOK(scale3).ioc") For VOS scale1 or scale2, the Ethernet driver operates as follows. (attachment file: "EthernetNG(scale1).ioc")- Packets are being received fewer than usual and appear to be dropping.- When the packet sending function is called, the process completes normally, but the packet is not visible on Wireshark from the remote side. I previously encountered a problem similar to when the clock supplied to the Ethernet PHY was not appropriate. Is it possible that the ETH_RMII_REF_CLK (50MHz) clock becomes incorrect depending on the VOS settings?I would lik

Hello,We are using the STM32C0 in a low-power application.  We initially selected the part with 12K SRAM in case we needed to use more than 6K, but after development have found that we can make do with 6K.  I am curious if there is any power savings by moving to the 6K part.  The "Supply Current Characteristics" in the C011 vs C031 data sheets are cut-and-paste identical which leads me to believe that the extra SRAM has no impact on power consumption, in which case we would just stay with the 12K part.  However, if the copy/paste was somehow an oversight and we could save some power by switching to the 6K part then we'd consider doing that. Thanks,TG

Hi folks,I use MX to generate a code for STM32L4. I noticed, when I configure timer in one pulse mode, I cannot set OC CH1 in PWM mode with CubeMX. I could set it manually after code was generated, but it would be overwritten if I run MX one more time.Could someone explain, if it is a bug in the tool or "feature"? Cheers

I'm using STM32CubeIDE and targeting STM32H745IIK6.  When I was using the CubeMx plugin version 6.10.0, I was able to enable the temperature sensor input on ADC3:After upgrading to CubeMx 6.11.0 with FW package H7_v1110.zip, this option (as well as the two inputs listed immediately before and immediately after it) are now gone:With upgraded SW/FW:The three options that used to be listed towards the end of the page, between the "IN16" input and the "EXTI Conversion Trigger" are missing. Are they available elsewhere now?

Hello, actually, i'm using the bluetooth module BlueNRG-M2 , and i want to know the communication distance in meter please and the length of the antenna .Thank you

I've downloaded the NFC Tap app and on my Iphone 8 it is not possible to start the FTM Demo because directly when I try to start it the strange overlay appears and then the app crashes and is not usable. It is the newest version.Furthermore, I was not able to download the App from your Homepage. It is a endless loop of logging in and jumping back to the same page. I've tried 3 different browsers (firefox, safari and chrome). All behave the same.

Hello, Sometimes I have my stm32F7 going in hardfault_handler, so for my customers I have to display on a screen the last address where the software crashed, then I can analyse which problem occure the crash. So I want to get the value "pc" (program counter) like I can see in the Fault Analyzer of stm32cubeide. I tried many supossed solutions :__attribute__ ((__noinline__)) void *get_pc() { return __builtin_return_address(0); } orstatic __inline__ void *get_pc(void) { void *pc; asm("mov %0, pc" : "=r"(pc)); return pc; }but it only return the value of the current function called, and not the same value as in the Fault Analyzer of stm32cubeide. Is there a solution ? Thank you

I am using TIM+DMA, and the main problem is that the first value should be loaded into ARR before the timer starts, but it is not. Also, regarding length, if it should be set in bytes, it should be clearly documented in a comment for that function, which currently it is not. uint32_t val_tim[] = {1500, 1200, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000};HAL_TIM_Base_Start_DMA(&htim2, val_tim, 6 * 4);

While using memory mapped mode for APS6408L using STM32u585 on B-U585I-IOT02A, how is the row boundary crossing handled?* If I want to write across multiple Rows in memory mapped mode, do I need to handle this manually or is it automatically handled by the memory controller?* Is it possible to write at any even address with data of any length or is there any limitation on the maximum size of data that can be written in single instructions like using memcpy?

HiI use STM32 NUCLEO-H743ZI2 development board for my project. I'm considering purchasing electronic components for the first time, and I would appreciate a recommendation for an X3 crystal that could be used in this situation.Additionally,I understand that I should leave SB44 and SB46 as they are,Solder and connect SB3 and SB4 each,Solder 5.6pF capacitors to C69 and C70 each, andRemove the 0-ohm resistor at SB45, correct? My board is currently in this state, and I plan to solder as described in the following diagram. Thank you very much for your guidance.

The wizard procedure put in my project this file <STM32U575ZITXQ_FLASH.ld> and this file <STM32U575ZITXQ_RAM.ld>.When is used the first and when the second and where is written in the project which one to use?Because in the linker section, as for Debug and  for Release configuration, olny the first compares.Thank you.If necessary, I'll post the content, but I thing the same thing is done for the over micro.

Can anyone help me with debounce code in C for Rising and falling edge interrupt??
