I am not very experienced with CPP or TouchGFX. I have created a Custom Container with a TextArea, a ToggleButton, and a couple of ScrollWheels. I have created a list layout, and used .add() to add two new instances of the Custom Container to my list at run time. The purpose is to create a list of alarms with a title, and some settable parameters for the User to set and save. I have figured out how to load the saved values into the ToggleButton and ScrollWheels from the values saved in the Model in setupScreen.  listLayoutAlarmList.setWidthHeight(0,0); //Compensates for the list height that is set to 200 by the designer listLayoutAlarmList.setDirection(touchgfx::SOUTH); for(int i=0;i<2;i++) { CustomContainerAlarm *ac = new CustomContainerAlarm(); ac->setListElements(i, (int)!presenter->getAlarmEnable(i), presenter->getAlarmPriority(i), presenter->getLimitF(i), presenter->getAlarmRelay(i)); listLayoutAlarmList.add(*ac); } listLayoutAlarmList.invalidat

Hello. Every one.I've been designing using STM32MP151 series. Now, i just have changed the package from STM32MP151CAB3(0.8pitch) to STM32MP151CAD3(0.5pitch).And then, the current is consumed more than 0.4W.of course, the power pin count is fewer than 151CAB3.So, I added more capacitors with big capacitance.Do you have any experiences as for this?please, reply me.Thank you.Regards.

Hello,I have been running Ubuntu on the STM32MP157F-DK2, guided by the following resources:https://prog.world/stm32mp1-running-ubuntu-22-04gpu-and-wayland-graphics-server/https://github.com/cvetaevvitaliy/stm32mp1-ubuntu Previously, I successfully used the following configurations:U-Boot: v2020.10-stm32mp-r2.2TF-A: v2.8-stm32mp-r1.1Linux Kernel: v2020.10-stm32mp-r2.2Ubuntu RootFS: ubuntu-22.04-base-stm32mp1-armhf-16-05-2022.tar.gzHowever, I am encountering issues with the latest setup:U-Boot: v2022.10-stm32mp-r1TF-A: v2.8-stm32mp-r1.1Linux Kernel: v6.1-stm32mp-r1Ubuntu RootFS: ubuntu-22.04-base-stm32mp1-armhf-16-05-2022.tar.gzThe main change I made was replacing stm32mp15_trusted_defconfig with stm32mp15_defconfig when building U-Boot.Could anyone provide any insights or suggestions to troubleshoot this issue?Thank you!

I am using the USB port on a STM32U595 in device mode only. I am not using a type-C interface with a CC controller. I see that the NUCLEO144_Q with STM32U575 divides the USB VBUS input and connects it to PC2 for use as VBUS_SENSE.[Q1] Do I need to connect PA9/PA10 (USB_OTG_HS_VBUS and USB_OTG_HS_ID) on the U595?[Q2] If so, what is the recommended approach? For example, tie USB_OTG_HS_VBUS directly to the 5V VBUS input and tie USB_OTG_HS_ID to VDD to indicate device role?[Q3] How is PC2 used for VBUS_SENSE on the U575 NUCLEO board - just as an interrupt or general-purpose input?[Q4] Should I connect VBUS to PC2 like the NUCLEO board instead of using USB_OTG_HS_VBUS?Thank you  -Jason

An urgent problem occurred in stm32mp157. I used ksz9031 network chip, but it could not be used. Hello,I just wanted to inform you that there is a bug in the ST driver for the LSM6DSV16X v3.0.0, available on Github.Function lsm6dsv16x_fifo_batch_counter_threshold_set is wrongly setting the 2 register values, and for COUNTER_BDR_REG1 it is not ensuring that other bit fields are not changed.I stumbled upon this after some time trying to get the BDR counter threshold interrupt to work in a prototype, and thought to share it here.I changed that function implementation to the code below (basically a copy from the LSM6DSOX driver), and it works fine now:int32_t lsm6dsv16x_fifo_batch_counter_threshold_set(const stmdev_ctx_t *ctx, uint16_t val) { lsm6dsv16x_counter_bdr_reg1_t counter_bdr_reg1; lsm6dsv16x_counter_bdr_reg2_t counter_bdr_reg2; int32_t ret; ret = lsm6dsv16x_read_reg(ctx, LSM6DSV16X_COUNTER_BDR_REG1, (uint8_t *)&counter_bdr_reg1, 1); if (ret == 0) { counter_bdr_reg2.cnt_bdr_th = 0x00FFU & (uint8_t)val; counter_bdr_reg1.cnt_bdr_th = (uint8_t)(

Hello,We received an EOL status notification for our current sensor VL6180 and I found the VL53L4CD as a substitute for this TOF proximity sensor. We would like to know how long this device will be active, as the VL6180 is now on EOL.Can you also connect us to one of your Field app engineers to discuss further the differences in application between the VL6180V1NR/1 and VL53L4CD? Thank You. Regards,Jerald

I know that this IC: ST10F252-ABG is old, but is there any cross or direct replacement for it?Thanks,Byron

Hi, I want to enable the global interrupt for TIM3 so that I can recognize when it becimes active (it raises the pin).I've added:if(htim_base->Instance==TIM3){/* Peripheral clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_TIM3_CLK_ENABLE();/* TIM2 interrupt Init */HAL_NVIC_SetPriority(TIM3_IRQn, 5, 0);HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM3_IRQn);}this to my void HAL_TIM_Base_MspInit(TIM_HandleTypeDef* htim_base) and can confirm that it gets executed and finally added void TIM3_IRQHandler(void){HAL_TIM_IRQHandler(&htim3);}into stm32f4xx_it.c but I still don't get a TIM3 callback in void HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim). What am I missing?I can see the PWM waveform on my scope but TIM3_IRQHandler() never gets invoked

Hello, I want to evaluate a solution using a SMT32 MCU with a TFT display (MIPI-DSI) and a camera input via DCMI.With these requirements I've restricted the MCU list to these 6 families:F469/F479F769/F779L4R9/L4S9U599/U5A9U5F9/U5G9if I am correct. The issue I am facing is that I have not found a Nucleo or Discovery board that carries those MCU and the relevant MIPI-DSI + DCMI connectors/headers or just bare GPIO pins. The only ones I have found are discovery boards, much more expensive, like the STM32L4R9I-EIAC Discovery board which prices 300 $. I would also accept, at this stage, a board with an already installed LCD display, as there are many Discovery boards, but the all lack (unless I misread the specs) the DCMI pins exposed.Am I missing something obvious in the ST.COM dev kits specs or list?Or does anybody know of some breakout boards that just expose the GPIO pins, and maybe a power connector (just like this one for example, it exposes all the GPIO pins of a Raspberry compute

Zigbee is used for wireless communication with reference to Zigbee_OnOff_Router_NVM. The problem I'm currently facing is when connecting multiple routers and sending data every 2 seconds, the APP_ZIGBEE_persist_save freezes for about 30 seconds at regular intervals. What could be the cause of this?

I'm working on stm32f103 I2C peripheral. I've one stm32f103 master and another stm32f103 slave. The master should send some text to the slave, but start condition never generates. The BUSY flag is set as soon as the peripheral is enable and the program hangs on a loop that waits until start condition is generated.( i.e // Wait until start condition is generated while(!(I2C1->SR1 & I2C_SR1_S){} )   #include "stm32f10x.h" // Device header void clockConfig(void); void I2C1Init(void); void I2C1Send(uint8_t* MSG); int main(void) { clockConfig(); I2C1Init(); I2C1Send((uint8_t*)"Hello, I2C1!"); while(1) { } }   void I2C1Send(uint8_t* MSG) { // Generate start bit I2C1->CR1 |= I2C_CR1_START; // Wait until start condition is generated while(!(I2C1->SR1 & I2C_SR1_SB)){} /* the program stops here*/ // clear start condition flag uint32_t dummyRead = I2C1->SR1; // Write slave address, and master transmitter mode I2C1->DR = 0x72; // Wait until address

Hi,This may be a newbie question as I'm very new to RFID tags/readers.I used one of the example codes for ST25R3911B. I am able to read the User ID/NFC ID but it doesn't show the Card Data. I'm not sure what kind of data to expect from the card but one of the requirements that I have is to be able to read the "Card Data".May I know if ST25R3911B is capable of reading the RFID Card Data?Thank you very much for your help.

Does anyone know how to remove the tags that show in the margin to the left of the line numbers in the editor when you have a 'TODO' in a comment on the line? They inhibit my viewing of breakpoints on the line. I guess I could get rid of side comments, but it is existing code. Regards, JL   PS, are there any hints to find post labels for IDE questions?

Greetings,STM32CubeIDE newbie user here! I have the above eval board, and would like to jumper SPI-A (master) to another (different) eval board (slave),and run full duplex SPI transfers.I have played with the Example (SPI_FullDuplex_CommIT_Master), and having trouble making it work.I have so many questions but will start with a few of my most urgent. 1) In the manual for the NUCLEO eval board it says,SPI_A_SCK (PA5) is CN7 pin 10.The readme.md under the project saysCN6 pin 10I assume one of them is a typo? 2) All of the SPI example projects that I have perused, set the SPI_A interface as follows:hspi1.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_SOFT;I assume this means that I have to use a GPIO for the SPI chip select? Why don't the examples ever use HARD_OUTPUT, is there an issue with using this mode? 3) Have tried many times to create my own projects, and failed, mostly due to me lack of experience with the CubeIDE.Can someone suggest the correct procedure (please list all the steps)

Hi ST experts.I used the pingpong sample code with the tutorial I have found in the TechForum: Link of the tutorial in order to establish the radio frequency communication between two Nucleo-WL55JC2 boards and it works.  And then I tried to communicate with the device that has this configuration It didn't work with my code, I searched for the problem and I found on the configuration of the subghz: What is the role of the baudrate prescaler value for the subghz configuration?and what changes should I make?

Dear Sir.I am trying to test for rts/cts , I use a program that transmit a 16 byte dataevery 1 ms .Tying rts or cts to gnd or 3.3v  makes no impact on the TX output. How do I insure that the code  works with RTS\CTS ? Pleas advise

Hi community：      I'm using CANFD on stm32g431kbu6 board, but I find some issue that CANFD cant work normally with BRS ON，my config of CANFD show in the comments。Does anyone know about this？   Thanks

Hi all,I have a doubt regarding the while(1) loop in c based program for STM32MCU for both keil and STM32cubeIDE softwares. How can we get the cycle time of while(1) loop?I have program code for STM32g0 series of MCU and couldn't evaluate the cycle time of while(1) from it.Please help asap. Regards

I am trying to modify the NRST_MODE option byte for a STM32G030 MCU.I have changed the reset pin to GPIO using the GUI, but that is not very usefull for a production environment. The option byte in not available from the CLI. -> Please make it available (very usefull for production programming)On the GUI the option is hidden away in the Registers - BETA page -> FLASHPlease make it available on the option bytes page for the STM32G030For the STM32G031 it is there in the Option Bytes -> please make it also available for the STM32G030. Also the CLI has the NRST_MODE as an option byteBeste regards, Hans.

Hello,my nucleo WL55JC1 board is not detected by cubeide when I want to run (No ST-LINK detected). The com led lights up green and with the st-info --probe command I find STM32WLEx for the dev-type. I can also update the st-link via cubeide but as soon as I close stlink upgrade and open it again the version is Unknown.I'm testing with the LoRaWan_End_node example code.Cubeide Version: 1.15.1st-info Version: v1.8.0-18-g765ebdaThanks in advance

Hello,I'm having trouble with ADC2 and ADC3 on my NUCLEO-L010RB board. I've utilized all 16 ADCs on the microcontroller, and the code is functioning correctly except for these two ADCs. I am using LPUART.In this image, I obtained a reading of 40 from all the sensors connected to ADCs, corresponding to the ASCII character "(". However, ADC2 and ADC3 consistently display the same value, even when I modify the input to any value other than 40. These two ADCs persist with this issue. This is the configuration.

I have chosen the STM32H743 as the custom hardware chip to manage real-time applications, including displaying analog ECG data on a 1080x600 DWIN display with CTP and using a 24V thermal printer for printing. I need reference schematics for using SDRAM, Q-SPI, and the 208 LQFP package. Can I adapt the STM32H7-EVAL schematic files for our application by following the same connections? We will implement power sources as required, such as 12V, 24V, and 3.3V for the MCU..I noticed in the EVL-SCH that SDRAM, NOR flash, and SRAM are connected to D[0..31]. I'm unsure why they are connected this way, and I'm wondering if I need to use these memory components as they are not present on discovery boards (specifically NOR flash and SRAM)

HiI see sleep/awake cmd is implemeneted in HAL fpr STM32H7only.Now I ported it myself to Stm32f446 myself successfully. However instead of while loop below, i inserted a HAL_Delay(1);H7 has a SDMMC but Stm32f446 has a SDIO.In the H/ HAL bit SDMMC_FLAG_BUSYD0END flag is checked to check when device is ready.SDMMC_FLAG_BUSYD0END is bit 20 in SDMMC status register (SDMMC_STAR)This bit how ever does not exist in SDIO status register (SDIO_STA).How can I implement this on Stm32f446 ?Its is about this while loop which i need to rewrite:Thx /* Wait that the device is ready by checking the D0 line */while ((!__HAL_MMC_GET_FLAG(hmmc, SDMMC_FLAG_BUSYD0END)) && (errorstate == HAL_MMC_ERROR_NONE)){if ((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) >= timeout){errorstate = SDMMC_ERROR_TIMEOUT;}} /* Clear the flag corresponding to end D0 bus line */__HAL_MMC_CLEAR_FLAG(hmmc, SDMMC_FLAG_BUSYD0END);
