Hello,I've implemented secure bootloader on STM32H753ZI using SBSFU examples and it's working very well. To secure the board I use WRP + RDP Level 1 + Secure Memory Area for bootloader. I would like to have option to recover from this state and be able to switch board to Level 0 with mass erase. Unfortunately I cannot achive it. After switch from bootloader to main app I can only connect with hot plug moge (which is correct I think as Security OB is checked). I can't change RDP level from 1 to 0 in this mode using STM32 Cube Programmer. I click apply and nothing happens. I also can't set Secure Memory Area from Cube Programmer and it's only possible to set it from code in bootloader.I tried to include code in my bootloader on the beginning which checks GPIO state. When it's low it set RDP level to 0. Without Secure Memory Area it's working fine and memory is erased and RDP is set to 0. However when I add Secure Memory Area and setting GPIO to low level I can't connect to board in any w

I am developing some applications that use an STM32G431 MCU and have a question about one of the figures in the reference manual (RM0440). In the chapter descripting the FDCAN peripheral, Figure 664 "FDCAN block diagram" (MSv51819V2) labels the FDCAN peripheral block as "FDCANL". What is the significance of the "L" suffix here? Is it a revision code of some sort? Does it indicate a "light" version of the peripheral? Something else? For comparison, I looked at some other reference manuals:RM0456 (STM32U5 series) shows "CANFDL" as well (Figure 873, MS51817V1)RM0399 (for STM32H757) shows "FDCAN1" and "FDCAN2" (since there are two instances on that device) (Figure 775, MS51729V1).

My setting is a Nucleo F767ZI board with a IKS01A2 shield. I created a FreeRTOS project that periodically queries the temperature sensor, calculates an average of temperature data, and prints the temperature on the UART. It has three threads that work as follows:- The first thread performs a HAL_I2C_Mem_Read_DMA to read temperature from the sensor on the shield, stops on a FreeRTOS event (that is fired by the DMA completion callback), then acquires mutex A, puts the temperature data in a shared circular buffer, releases A, and then sleeps (period: 100 ms).- The second thread acquires mutex A, calculates the average of the temperatures stored in the shared circular buffer, releases A, then acquires mutex B, puts the average in a shared variable, releases B, and then sleeps (period: 500 ms).- The third thread acquires mutex B, reads the shared variable with the average temperature, releases B, prints on the UART and then sleeps (period: 1000 ms).The application fails in few seconds with

Hello,I need to implement AES-CBC 192 bits on micro STM32U5 serie, but hardware only supports 128 or 256 bits If i use XCUBE-SAFEA1, ST_Cryptolib is not available for U5 serie. How can i fix this issue?

Hello,I am planning to use IAR Workbench for development on STM32H745 controller.I have worked on STLDR file i.e. external loader program with ST programmer and STM32CubeIDE but not used external memory loader with IAR workbench.1. Can STLDR be used with IAR workbench or some other file is needed?2. How to go about programming the external memory through IAR workbench?3. What tools are used for programming the contoller ST link? , ST programmer? Please share details and links to resources if aThanks Anuj

Hello everybody,I bought a STM32G431RB Nucleo. I created code for it with the STM32 CubeMX and modiefied the code in the STM32 CubeIDE. I want to access "HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback" and "HAL_TIM_PWM_PulseFinishedCallback", I read that this is possible by calling "HAL_TIM_Base_Start_IT" for "HAL_TIM_PeriodElapsedCallback" and "HAL_TIM_PWM_Start_IT" for "HAL_TIM_PWM_PulseFinishedCallback". But when I do that, the STM32 seems to crash. Am I doing something wrong, or is this simply not possible?Thank you in advance!int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */   /* USER CODE END 1 */   /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/   /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init();   /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */   /* USER CODE END Init */   /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config();   /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */   /* USER CODE END SysInit */   /* In

Hello,        I am working in the Project to Communicating Custom hid in the High speed mode. Hi,I would like to develop a simple application to read/write internal EEPROM of a ST25DV device. Is there a porting of the ST25dv sdk to Flutter?

Hello everyone.I want to connect a STLINK-V3MODS to a microcontroller STM32L031 using SWD protocol, I have tried the following the following conection:Is that enough to flash a program using stmcube mx?

Hello, I just upgraded my TouchGFX to 4.23.2. When I created a new dynamic graph, I can't show the X-axis label and Y-Axis label.May I know if I miss some settings? Thanks.

Hello Gentlemen!I have edited this question, former question below just for clarity.New question: the ITM SWO printF-ing works with frequency of 4 MHz. I have searched every little PDF regarding my board (NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q) and i have no clue where you can find this number. Can anyone help me? The frequency in question is this one:       Former question (ignore) Spoiler (Highlight to read)I am just trying to make printF work over SWO. on my board, over STM32 IDE  Board number: NUCLEO-U575ZI-QThings i tried on the internet:1. dont forget \n sign.2. Make sure you have Solder bridge or whatever, to SWO: Internet provides lots of images of some table, where you have this SWO pin explicitely mentioned and said if its soldered or not. I never found this, but i did look at scheme, and everything related to SWO was present, no DNF3. You have to have your CoreClock config synchronized: The only thing i found is in this image. I used both 16Mh

Hello,We are developing a product based on a STM32WB5MMG. We have configured the SBSFU with OTA (Asymmetric with AES encryption scheme). Everything is working great and I have only one question that came to my mind during the last commit...The CBC key for decrypting/encrypting the code is stored in the KMS of the CPU2. The SBSFU is supposed to read from there the key to decrypt new updates. So, why is the key also embedded in the binary of the SBSFU itself, in the se_key.s file? Basically, anyone who has access to the repository can have access to the encryption key (and in our case, being a team with more than one developer and with the potential to collaborate with external parties, this is undesirable). (I'm going to remove the se_key.s from the repo in the meantime). But most of all, what is the point of using the KMS if the SBSFU image itself contains the key?I'm sure I've missed something and would be very grateful if someone could help me understand it.Thank you and best re

I'm attempting to run an OP-TEE Trusted Application on the STM32MP157F-DK2 running OpenST Linux version stm32mp1-openstlinux-6.1-yocto-mickledore-mp1-v23.06.21. I've followed the guides here and here, but both end up producing the following error when attempting to run the application:TEEC_Opensession failed with code 0xffff0008 origin 0x3What could be causing this problem? I'm running a fresh install of OpenST Linux and haven't made any modifications to the system other than those required to get the example running.

STM32H7 SeriesI am trying to upload Ardupilot to my board. The co-processor works just fine with the regular procudure but no matter how much I tried, could not get the firmware on MCU.I have tried with the regular upload process documented on LINK  . However, even Windows 11 and ubuntu 22.04 do not seem to recognize the device. The output of lsusb shows no sign of a device while windows does not have any idea of its existence. The board features STM32H75 as its MCU and STM32F301 as co-processor.

Hello! I want to ask in this routine! I read it This application shows how to the use the WKUP driver. In particular, the WKPUis configured to wake up the core and generate an interrupt on a falling-edgeof the source INT28. This source is connected to the push button SW_1. After toconfigure the WKPU, the application toggles the LED_1 and the LED_2 for 1,5seconds, then will move the core in STOP0 mode. Now, if the SW_1 is pushed, thefollowing events will occur:1. The core will wake up and will return in RUN mode, and LED_1 and LED_2 willstart to blink again.2. An interrupt will occur. The related callback function will switch-on theLED_3. But I still don't understand that button SW_1 is not used in the pinmap editor ! How does it wake up the CPU and make the LED work!

Hi,My goal is to dynamically change the phase shift between two output signals. Ultimately I would like to do this by rotating an encoder knob, but for the sake of simplicity a software change will do to simplify things. I'm using a Blue pill (STM32F103C8T6).TIMER 2 is set to Master:Slave Mode: DisableChannel1: PWM Generation CH1Channel2: Output Compare No OutputTrigger Output (TRGO) Parameters:- Trigger Event Selection: Output Compare (OC2REF)Output Compare No Output Channel2:- Mode: Active Level on matchTIMER 3 is set to Slave:Salve Mode: Trigger ModeTrigger Source: ITR1Channel1: PWM Generation CH1Channel2, 3, 4: DisabledThe code is simple:HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim2, TIM_CHANNEL_1); // 1st output signalHAL_TIM_OC_Start(&htim2, TIM_CHANNEL_2); // phase shift valueHAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim3, TIM_CHANNEL_1); // 2nd output signalWhen hardcoded everything works great and I get a phase shift between signals. See the attached image. But to change it I have to reflash the MCU as I can

Hi all,I am using the NUCLEO-H7S3L8 board, and I looked for the schematic or wiring diagram for this board in the ST website, but I couldn't find it. Anyone knows where that information may be available. Thanks,Amilton

Hii I'm currently working stm32h743IITx 176  pins stm32cube mx v 6.2.0 . i used ethernet in lwip middleware are used my currently using firmware version 1.9.1 but couldn't connect udp cilent in ethernet   .  No ping, no nothing. Currently I test with the Stm32h743IITx board. I compared .ioc files and various code source, but couldn't find any Any help welcome, thanks in advance

I stumbled across this problem:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/unable-to-read-reset-values-of-the-stm32h730vb-octospim/m-p/212094In the current rev 3 of RM0468 https://www.st.com/resource/en/reference_manual/rm0468-stm32h723733-stm32h725735-and-stm32h730-value-line-advanced-armbased-32bit-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf I see this register bit:But the same register looks quite different in the STM32CubeProgrammer: Also, there's a typo in the table on Bit 19, must say OCTOSPI2EN Am I doing/expecting something wrong, or ist it a bug. If second, is someone reading here who can address it at STM?

Hello, I am trying to flash the MCU with USART bootloaderI am using the command codes from below link, but are not working for meCan someone help me validate of the command codes are correct for STM32G4https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/cd00264342-usart-protocol-used-in-the-stm32-bootloader-stmicroelectronics.pdf Current setup:I have connected the STM32 USART4 to my R PI device. It gets enumerated as /dev/ttyUSB0Below is the serial code using python import serial ser = serial.Serial(        port='/dev/ttyUSB0',        baudrate=57600,        parity=serial.PARITY_EVEN,        stopbits=serial.STOPBITS_ONE,        bytesize=serial.EIGHTBITS,        timeout=10) # Command to select the USART bootloaderser.write(b'\x7F')ser.read(1) # Reading 1 byte of data to check ACK from the MCUTIA

Hallo everybody, I have a question about the FDCAN peripheral of the STM32G0B1VC.I’m using the STM32Cube_FW_G0_V1.6.0 library and I have initialized the bus with AutoRetransmission:CanHandle.Init.AutoRetransmission     = ENABLE; During the transmission of a frame, when the ACK is not received the peripheral automatically resends the frame after a minimum delay (about 50 usec). Is there any way to increase the delay between the frames? When I repeat the test with a different platform, STM32F072VB and STM32Cube_FW_F0_V1.9.0 library, I have a different behaviour: the frame is retransmitted after 1.7 msec.Is there any way to increase the delay between the autoretransmitted frames with the STM32G0B1VC?Many thanksThomas

Good morning,I have been following the stm channel board videos on the LoraWan examples. I was able to correctly configure and connect the board from the example provided in the MX “LoRaWan_EndNode”.But replicating the last video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYULivHQoNI&t=242sI get a current on the order of 350mA, far from its 2uA.Is there any practical and simple example on how to set RTC so that it goes into stop mode after TX?thanks for your help

Hi,While building the example FUOTA code from icubelrwan software expansion. I am facing "No rule to make target error" attached the screenshot. Tried to build after including the path of the folder but still facing the same error. attached the screenshot.Support me in resolving this error.Thanks.

Hello,I have a small problem when using a custom delay function as follows : void delay_us(uint32_t delayus) { uint32_t start_count = __HAL_TIM_GET_COUNTER(&htim2); while ((__HAL_TIM_GET_COUNTER(&htim2) - start_count) < delayus) { } }  The attached image shows the configuration of timer 2.This delay function should allow me to generate short pulses. except that sometimes it does and sometimes nothing happens when I use it. I don't know what the problem is. Could you please help me?
