Hi :I have a custom board, the mcu is STM32L4P5RG, I also connect Flash W25Q128(OSPI1) and APS6404L(OSPI2) to it.But I can't reset them and hal status always return HAL_ERROR. Can someone help me?The hardware schematic(Sch.png),Clock configuration(Clock.png),OSPI configuration(OSPI1.png, OSPI2.png),Reset code(Code.png)  are as below:I also attach my project.

Hi,I am having trouble downloading the I-CUBE-LRWAN pack for the STM32CubeIDE.Trying to download from the product page (https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/i-cube-lrwan.html#get-software) by clicking "Get latest" and agreeing to the license agreement redirects me back to the product page with no download. I have tried both Chrome and Firefox with ad-blocking extensions disabled. Downloading packs for other products works fine.It also currently seems impossible to download from the IDE's built-in pack manager because the login functionality appears to be broken (there are other threads on this, though). Is there an alternate way to download the pack? Thanks,Matthew

hi community,                      I am using the "Avas Compact - Test Application" example code which is provided in the AUTODEVKIT. hear I enabled the CAN communication and it is working fine. but i want to know CAN BUSOFF is implemented or not in the given example code. if not how to implement the CAN BUSOFF.regardsshiva

Hi community,I have implemented AVAS, I am getting the output as expected but with one issue that even after I stop communication in the CANoe , I am getting the sound continuously.I wanted to know two things1. Do we have any API that stops the sound just after stopping the communication in CANoe?2. I thought of using the timeout functions that gets called after some time after stopping the communication so for this I wanted to know do we have any API or do we have any configuration settings? Thanks,Aishwarya UM

Summary: I'm seeing a situation where the CAN frames are repeating when they should only be sent once.  However, the receiving device is receiving them just fine.  Details:I'm running an STM32U545 on it's Nucleo Board, and using a simple CAN transceiver chip.  I'm sending pre-made dummy messages to spoof an external device, and have verified those messages work using an STM32L431.  The frame is being sent once every 200ms, and the code is sitting in HAL_Delay() the rest of the time.  The number of repeated frames is not consistent.  I'm looking on the scope/Saleae, and it can be anywhere from 1 to several (like 7 or 10), and anywhere in between.  The Saleae interpreter is reporting an ACK being received, so that shouldn't be the issue.  Bit rate: 250kIs there anything else I should check?

I am programming SPC582Bxx-RLA WKPU Test Application for Discovery using the SPC582860E1 development board! But when downloading the program using OpenOCD steps, the following error message will appear! As shown in the following picture! And I also took a screenshot of my configuration settings. I hope everyone can help me analyze the solution! Thank you.

I bought the AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK kit! But after following the operation steps in manual UM3303, I encountered the problem shown in the picture! Can you help me?

We are using ST IMU LSM6DSL in to our chipset/PCB.We are looking for ready to use software or algorithm to implement in to our firmware to determine the speed/acceleration & distance from IMU data.Is there any example code available for share?

i need to add the stm32h743 in to the proteus , bcz i dont have the hardware.can anybody tell how to download stm32h743 library file for proteus  or  direct link to download file . thanks.....

Hi!As i know, there are differents modes of spi: Single(or standard), dual and quad SPI. On stm32cubeIDE/CubeMX i can see there are different selections: SPI and Quad-SPI. But i was wondering how can i differenciate between standard and dual SPI. I have these code lines, which mode am i using and how to configure the other way? hspi3.Instance = SPI3; hspi3.Init.Mode = SPI_MODE_MASTER; hspi3.Init.Direction = SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES; hspi3.Init.DataSize = SPI_DATASIZE_4BIT; hspi3.Init.CLKPolarity = SPI_POLARITY_LOW; hspi3.Init.CLKPhase = SPI_PHASE_1EDGE; hspi3.Init.NSS = SPI_NSS_HARD_OUTPUT; hspi3.Init.BaudRatePrescaler = SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_2; hspi3.Init.FirstBit = SPI_FIRSTBIT_MSB; hspi3.Init.TIMode = SPI_TIMODE_DISABLE; hspi3.Init.CRCCalculation = SPI_CRCCALCULATION_DISABLE; hspi3.Init.CRCPolynomial = 0x0; hspi3.Init.NSSPMode = SPI_NSS_PULSE_ENABLE; hspi3.Init.NSSPolarity = SPI_NSS_POLARITY_LOW; hspi3.Init.FifoThreshold = SPI_FIFO_THRESHOLD_01DATA; hspi3.Init.TxCRCInitia

Hello!      How can i send a SETDASA to bus with my H563ZI as controller?      Thanks for help!

Hey, I'm using STM32F303RET6 and need to implement UART communication via USART1 (PA9 as Tx and PA10 as Rx).I managed to print "Hello World" on my console,Which means Tx is working fine and my console is configured correctly, but couldn't receive bytes from the console.This is how I set up the USART using MXCubestatic void MX_USART1_UART_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE BEGIN USART1_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END USART1_Init 1 */ huart1.Instance = USART1; huart1.Init.BaudRate = 38400; huart1.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B; huart1.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; huart1.Init.Parity = UART_PARITY_NONE; huart1.Init.Mode = UART_MODE_TX_RX; huart1.Init.HwFlowCtl = UART_HWCONTROL_NONE; huart1.Init.OverSampling = UART_OVERSAMPLING_16; huart1.Init.OneBitSampling = UART_ONE_BIT_SAMPLE_DISABLE; huart1.AdvancedInit.AdvFeatureInit = UART_ADVFEATURE_NO_INIT; if (HAL_UART_Init(&huart1) !=

hello all,I do appreciate the 'free' stuff since I am a small/independent/yet-to-make-profit developer, I am disappointed with the  IDE in a couple of years so need to update, as far eclipse related updates work well (seem to download and install) but st.com related are finicky. The ide update process starts downloading from st,com update site it goes up t cca 90% download (a certain component, not all, not always the same) then is stops without a noticeable reason.Sine the decision was made to have an an executable rather than a script to start the .jar main we have no idea how and what is going on. debug info is scarce, command line options info inexistent (or hard to find. I did not fund them). slf4j is not bundled so no log hence no idea of what is going on.... blah blahI do not mind to be bashed if people feel like it although I would appreciate some help (I am not asking often)I have a couple of questions if somebody knows the answers.1) how to debug the IDE, get some meanin

HelloI have configured TIM2 CH1 with PWM Generation on my board STM32F412G-DISCO. I capture the rising and falling edges by other board NUCLEO-G071RB, using interrupt input capture for both edges (one channel for each edge). Now I try to change the period of the PWM in the F412G board. However, sometimes the signal stops (I capture it using an oscilloscope too). The code I use to change the period: fanCount=(int)(fanPeriod/1000*clock/(htim2.Init.Prescaler+1));__HAL_TIM_SET_AUTORELOAD(&htim2,fanCount); Do anyone have an idea what is the problem?

Hi,I' was looking at this board thinking it is one of the newer ones. I think of the STM32F7 as the older and STM32H7 as the newer ones.  The reason I'm asking is because I want a STM32H7 kit with an (micro) SD socket and an audio codec. This kit seemed ideal until I checked the audio codec ... Cirrus CS42L51... its datasheet says "discontinued" so I'm thinking this SMT32H7 kit may be old? I already have a SMT32F746 disco board and it is ok but I run into some annoying bugs (nicely documented here). Thanks

Hi,I want to use the DMA FIFO for UART2 on the STM32H753ZI discovery board.DMA in direct mode works, but sometimes I have almost concurrent events that need to be transmitted ASAP over the same UART (a few ms delay is no problem). It seems sometimes an UART message is not send because the last message was still sending. Each message is exactly four bytes, so I would try to use the FIFO function on the UART DMA. I would like to set the burst size to four bytes so each message of four bytes would be send immediatly, except if the DMA UART is still blocked by the former message, which would give a slight but not problematic delay. I'd rather have a slight delay than a completely missed message.I'm a bit confused by the DMA request settings As specified by AN4031 I would set:threshold: 1/4data width: byteBurst Size: 4 IncrementIs it correct that this would give me a burst size of 4 bytes and that each message of 4 bytes would be send immediatly by the function HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&hua

Hi anyone know where to find this BOM and schematic diagram?

Hello ST expert,I'd like to establish spi communication between my NucleoF401RE and an ADAFruit BLE module.https://www.adafruit.com/product/2633 While waiting for the BLE module, I found a USB SPI converter (like a FTDI for SPI) to create the following connectionMCU<->SPI<->USB<->ComputerThe problem is that I've already used this type of converter for UART communication with Putty and it works perfectly but for SPI communication I don't know what Putty-like I should use to send data from my computer to the MCUDoes anyone know how to do this?Best regard.Paulo971

Hello Community,According to data sheet of STM32H743VIT6 https://eu.mouser.com/datasheet/2/389/stm32h743vi-1760857.pdf1) Dual mode Quad-SPI memory interface running up to 133 MHz2) NOR/NAND Flash memory clocked up to 100 MHz in Synchronous mode Q1: Is it possible run NOR/NAND Flash in Asynchronous mode?Q2: Is it possible run NOR/NAND Flash, which has 120 MHZ (or 133 MHZ) Maximum Clock Frequency param?Q3: Is it possible run NOR/NAND Flash on Quad-SPI memory interface? Thanks.

Hello.I purchased a Discovery STM32F429-DISC1 development board to start applications involving LCD screen. However, I am having a problem with the touch sensor. I recorded on the board some applications that I developed with TouchGFX, simple applications like pressing a button and making an image disappear and reappear, the problem is as if the touch sensor was inverted, for example, to press a button on the lower side of the screen I have to touch the top corner of the screen..it's like the sides are reversed..I thought it might be a problem related to my application so I recorded an example provided by ST. I saved the .HEX file and the problem persisted..does anyone have any suggestions on what is happening? Thanks

I want to display a simple text on X-Nucleo0GFX02Z1 on STM Board Nucleo-F767ZI. I want to use TouchGFX for generation of code but neither this board nor screen is available in TouchGFX. I am new to these environments of STM32.Any guidance is much appreciated.

We started a project with Hyperflash and Hyperram (each on a separate OctoSPI port) with STM32H7A3. I will need to flash the Hyperflash (S26KL512) via 1) Keil ARM Programmer (ULINK Pro) <- Needs a programming algorithm2) By my own software parts for flashing firmware updates. Is there meanwhile a sample project which I can refer to for more details?Any help is very much appreciated.BR GS

I have been looking into Application Note AN3126 (Audio and waveform generation using the DAC in STM32 products) and in the document a demonstration source code project is mentioned which includes C-language files waveplayer.c and waveplayer.h. I was unable to find this mentioned demo project. Can you help me locate it? Thank you.

Hello! For some time already I cannot find this in manuals. Can someone point me if there is any table somewhere? Of course I can find it out experimentally, but it would be more convenient to know where it is listed.

I am working on a project which requires storing values in flash memory so that the values will be retained next time the device is turned on. I tried this on STM32F103C8T6 and it worked without any issues. But on STM32G030C8T6 I'm getting error while trying to erase a page. The following is the code that I wrote for erasing a flash memory page.if (HAL_FLASHEx_Erase(&eis, &pageError) != HAL_OK){ HAL_FLASH_Lock(); return HAL_FLASH_GetError(); } else { HAL_FLASH_Lock(); return 0; }But it is returning 0x80. I did some debugging and found out that it is "HAL_FLASH_ERROR_PGS". Which by the function's comment, it is a "Programming sequence error". What is this error? how can it be solved? why did it not appear while I was working on F103? This is the link for the project.
