Hi everyone,We recently purchased a NUCLEO-WB55RG Dual Core EVK for R&D purposes. We later realized that in the STM32WB55CGU6TR MCU, the Cortex M0+ core is dedicated to BLE. Is there any possibility of toggling GPIO on the Cortex M0+ core? If so, can anyone share a sample code for this?Thanks in advance!

I plugged in a new nucleo-h563zi, but the st-link wasn't found. The demo blinky code is running fine.LD6 is solid green andLD4 is slow blinking forever On Ubuntu 22 LTSAny ideas?

I follow the guidelines in this articlehttps://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/scenarios/example-gpioand my Touchgfx program can react to a single hardware button pressed event.Now I need to add 1 more hardware button and calculate how long the user has been pressing a button in order to direct a user to the relevant setup screen.I have a few questions I would like to ask:1. The HAL class has a single pointer to a ButtonController-inherited class object: ButtonController* buttonController, does it imply that I need to write a single class to handle all pressed events of all hardware buttons?2. How often the method ButtonController::sample(uint8_t &key) is called andby which class?3. How should I calculate the duration of a button press with the current Touchgfx's classes (ButtonController for example) and methods?Thank you for your help.

Hello!I've been using STM32 uC for a long time, and I decided to try the STM32H503RBT6 microcontroller.Using the NUCLEO-H503RB I created a brand new project and set up the DAC (without any timers or DMA, just plain simple direct DAC) and nothing else - (config in the picture below).Using a scope, I noticed a lot of glitches on the generated waveform (a simple 10 steps waveform from 0V to 3.3V). Sometimes it worked as it should, sometimes it didn't work at all, sometimes it worked but the waveform was super random (Oh! And it even changed this behavior if I simply reset the board). I tried to change a lot of settings (except in the clock config tab), but nothing made it work 100% of the time. Only then I decided to try changing the clock settings.After a day of frustrating debugging, I noticed that the interface of cubeMX seems to be wrong. I checked a hundred times if I chose the correct microcontroller when making the project, etc, but it was configured correctly.In the picture b

Hi,I have a question about configuring NDEF messages on tags.Can I put multiple function records in one NDEF file?For example, I just want to connect uri link with one NDEF file and also wifi connection at the same time.Is it possible? If possible, please let me know how to organize the record of the ndef file. Many sites say that Android only recognizes one record, but I can't find anything like official specifications, so I leave a question.If you know any related official documents, please guide me. Best Regards,

Hello everyone, I am trying to debug a custom board with STM32MP151 with WM8988 connected with SAI2, the connection is just as  STM32MP15x-DK with except that there is no I2S to HDMI. The device tree configuration is a mimic of STM32MP15xx-dkx.dtsi. After bootup, the soundcard was created, and I can run alsamixer.The problem is whenever I try to play a sound, the driver complains about cannot get MCLK because the freq passed to wm8988_set_dai_sysclk() is zero. The log messages shown that the asoc try to configure the dai, but it passed the wrong MCLK freq to wm8988 dai. I don't know why? Is there something I am missing in the device tree? Also, I tried to enable DEBUG in stm32_sai_sub.c and find that stm32_sai_mclk_enable() may not be called because I cannot find “Enable master clock” in dmesg. I am using openstlinux eco system 4, the distro version is 4.0.11. Here is the snipet of the device tree. &i2c4{ pinctrl-names = "default", "sle

How do we configure the STM32L073RZT6 to produce a 1-second delay using Timer3 without using HAL libraries? Please help me understand the calculations involved, along with which registers need to be configured

Hi there all,I have been looking to power some LEDs which require 25mA supply at 3.3V. This is above the capabilities of this Nucleo-64 board as it is stated that the maximum GPIO supplied current is 20mA per pin (100mA total across all pins).For reference, this is the circuit I would like to connect which is part of the Bourns PEL12T rotary encoder. Pin 5 is supplied a 3v3 source and all other LED pins are held high. When the LEDs need to light, the GPIO pins should go low allowing current to flow.Would it be better to use an external 3V3 power supply to power pin 5 only, or desolder SB5 (which disconnects internal 3V3 regulator) and power the whole board by plugging the external 3V3 supply to the 3V3 pin on the arduino or morpho header.I have several questions:Would the above described method of using two 3V3 supplies be safe for the Nucleo board?If plugging in an external 3V3 supply and desoldering SB5 would it be possible to still use ST-Link if a USB cable is plugged in?Does using

Hi, I am working on an Azure RTOS project, which requires jumbo frames capability. My current devkit is a MYD-YF13X to utilize 1 gigabit ethernet PHYs. My goal is to receive 9000-byte packets, but I am not able to receive any bigger than ~2000 bytes.Packets with size over 2kB are simply being ignored, as they wouldn't be transferred. The eth interrupts and respective receive complete callbacks are not being activated for them.  I performed the following configuration:I have also configured the YT8521-SH ethernet PHY to work with jumbo framesI have also adapted the size of the buffers respectively. At the end I worked with the OpenSTLinux with both STM32MP13-Devkit and MYD-YF13X. I wanted to resize the MTU of eth interface. With the ifconfig tool I wasn't able to set the MTU to 9000 bytes. Once again, it was constrained to 2000 bytes.Why is the constraint set to ~2000? I would be thankful for any advice and help. Best,J.Schneider

HiI'm using the OpenSTlinux starter package.I want to change the SSH port communicated by dropbear from 22.Setting a file in the device and rebooted, but it doesn't change from SSH port 22.file:  /etc/default/dropbearDROPBEAR_PORT=10022 *line added"DROPBEAR_EXTRA_ARGS" setting will take effect after the change.Is it possible to change the SSH port in dropbear settings?Best regards,

Hello,I designed custom board with STM32MP157 and LPDDR3 memory. Due to PCB manufacture restrictions I needed to connect to ground unused signal called DDR_ATO. I want to know if this is a problem, because if it is the case I can just remove 1 ball from the IC and solder it like that, but maybe it is not necessary? Thank you, Dominik.

Hello everyone, I have a weird problem. At my internship, I was given a SIM900 and SIM7600 module and told to make projects based on them, yet I cannot find these modules anywhere on the internet. The project I wish to do with the SIM900 is thus: Send an SMS to my phone. Here is the SIM900 module I was given:Here is the SIM7600 module, which is approx. the same:I have decided that the best course of action from this point onwards would be to try to use the pins of the chip itself to suit my needs. That is fine. What strikes me as odd is that I cannot, for the life of me, find these things anywhere. Are there any alternate sources I can try? I wrote the numbers on the cards into Google, I did Google reverse search, I tried to read the pins and figure out any distinct features but the SD card is the only one I can think of--which led me nowhere new. Is my research simply insufficient? Thank you for your time.

I everyone ,I'm working on a STM32WB35I've build a small custom server app with just a simple batt level service it works and advertise perfectly if I don't enable LPM as soon as I enable LPM it don't advertise anymoreit looks as if CPU2 and RF are down too as default BLE app disable OFF lpm mode it goes only in STOP LPR modeon my custom pcb I have no LSE so I rely on HSE when running and MSI or HSI when in stop or offwhen  comparing with BLE HeartSensor reference exemple I dont understand how it keeps advertising when  in STOP modemy main concern is on BLE HeartSensor exemple when going in stop mode it calls   static void EnterLowPower(void) { /** * This function is called from CRITICAL SECTION */ while(LL_HSEM_1StepLock(HSEM, CFG_HW_RCC_SEMID)); if (! I believe there is an error in the STM32G4 Series Reference Manual regarding the width of TIMx_ARR for timers 3 and 4.The reference manual shows a width of 20 bits for TIMx_ARR for timers 3 and 4, below.However, both TIM3 and TIM4 are 16-bit timers, as shown below.The following experiment on STM32G4 hardware aligns with the 16-bit understanding. Write pattern 0x12345678 to TIM3_ARR.Read TIM3_ARR, result is 0x00005678. Result should be 0x00045678 if width was 20 bits.On STM32G4 series, for timers 3 and 4, is the width of TIMx_ARR 16 bits or 20 bits?

Hi,I'm somewhat new to STM32. I need to use DMA to collect data from a tempreture sensor over I2C.My sensor is an Adafruit MCP 9600 and I'm using a Nucleo F446RE board. Following is the code I use. Can someone help as I've been stuck here for days without knowing what to do.  uint8_t TMP_ADDR = 0x65 << 1;uint8_t TMP_REG = 0x00;uint8_t TempReading[100]; void MCP9600_ReadTemperatureDMA(void){TempReading[0] = TMP_REG;if (HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit(&hi2c1, TMP_ADDR, TempReading, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY) == HAL_OK) {if (HAL_I2C_Master_Receive_DMA(&hi2c1, TMP_ADDR, TempReading, sizeof(TempReading)) == HAL_OK) {HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LD2_GPIO_Port, LD2_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET);}}}// I2C DMA Transfer Complete Callbackvoid HAL_I2C_MemRxCpltCallback(I2C_HandleTypeDef *hi2c){HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LD2_GPIO_Port, LD2_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET);}

Heyho,and one more problem with my custom board with a STM32H733ZGT6 (LQFP-144, almost same as H723 on Nucleo).I'm using TIM5 for input capture, with CH1 (GPIO A0) and ETR (A4) as external clock input.The setup code is the same as on H723-Nucleo and H735-Disco, although I'm using another input capture channel, on these boards all is working fine.Problem:the 50 MHz input clock on ETR drops to < 2Vpp at the STM32 pin.Clock signal comes from VCO with 3.3Vpp, has 33R at output, and the ETR pin also has a 33R serial resistor.Voltage drops at each resistor.The same clock signal is routed to other IOs, also via 33R, no voltage drop there.All connections and resistor values checked and okay.Here's the timer setup, same as on working ST boards:void TimVcoSyncInit(void) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = { 0 }; /* set handle and pointer * ### THIS depends on used TIMx ### * eTAS8: TIM5 */ __HAL_RCC_TIM5_CLK_ENABLE(); pTimVcoSync = TIM5; hTim5.Instance = pTimVcoSync;

I want to build my stm32cubeide code from CLI, and thought STM32CubeCLI https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32cubeclt.html#documentation would be useful. However, its user manual https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um3088-stm32cube-commandline-toolset-quick-start-guide-stmicroelectronics.pdf only provides some simple examples in the case of Windows.Does anyone know the information about the usage of STM32CubeCLI?

Hello, I am trying to develop an application capable of communicating with the STR3911B-Disco discovery kit. To do this I have downloaded the ST25SDK001 software and its API. I'm developing my application in C++ on QT creator, the final goal is to create a library that can interface with the kit. I'm making this library to embed it but I'm unable to find the serial commands to send. ST25SDK001 is developed in Java and not in C. Is there a way of finding the sources and commands for the lower layer, or are they protected? Thanks in advance.Regards,MelDubs.

The 'HAL_SDRAM_Write_8b' and 'HAL_SDRAM_Read_8b' functions were confirmed using STM32H723ZGT6 and IS42S16320D-6TLI.(Check variable value changes with STM32CubeIDE's Memory Viewer and LiveWatch, no hardware problems)All internal RAM has been used to implement the current application.Additional feature implementation requests require variable allocation and access to external RAM.I reviewed the STM32CubeH7 example and applied it to my project, but encountered a HardFault Handler.(Modify STM32H747XIHX_FLASH.ld file in my Project)Please let me know if there is anything else I need to check.- Example path: \STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.11.1\Projects\STM32H747I-EVAL\Examples\FMC\FMC_SDRAM_DataMemory\STM32CubeIDE\CM7 Build Analyzer - Memory Regions HardFault_Handler Debug MessageSTMicroelectronics ST-LINK GDB server. hello expert:I encountered a problem when using the ST25R3916B evaluation board. The GUI displays 'not connected', but I have already entered USB mode using the blue button and reset button, and JP14 is in the normal state. The Micro USB and miniUSB are also connected.How can I connect it with GUI？ Is there any mistake in the above operation steps?

I using OLED I2C display and its interface with STm32F091VBT6 MCU. My application is fuel dispensing i face issue while dispensing the OLED display is stuck. i cant find any error. can any body know me the solution.i also attached the OLED & I2C file for reference which i made in keil IDE.
