HI,What is the definition of ranging frequency. Is it how fast it can make consecutive measurements?What is the highest ranging frequency (lowest inter measurement period) SPAD sensor that ur company provides?Thank u

Good afternoon,I am attempting to write a bare metal C driver for an interrupt specifically on GPIOA8 for the nucleo-g031k8 (Cortex M0+). I believe there is an issue with how I am changing the register EXTICR in the EXTI. According to figure 29 (pg 322 of RM) I need to adjust the EXTI_EXTICR1.EXTI8 mux to access the PA8 gpio.But when I view the cmsis header file for this chip (stm32g031xx.h) there is no cr1 for pin 8. The only available register is EXTI_EXTICR3_EXTI8. Why is this the case? I would expect the CMSIS header file to follow the RM0444 manual you provided for the chip and have an available EXTICR1_EXTI8 variable available but there is none. Things get even more confusing when I debug the chip and step through the program. According to the debugger, EXTI_EXTICR3_EXTI8 doesn't actually adjust CR3 but instead changes the CR4 register. If any of you could provide a detailed explanation about the EXTICR in this reference manual specifically what m and x mean in the manu

Hi,i am using ism330dhcx and lis2mdl on my custom board,i am able to configure and read data from accelero, gyro and magneto.i started the implementation of X-Cube-MEMS1 lib.when i compile the code, every thing is ok,but after running, when a function is called from the MEMS1 libraries, the code is blocked !i tried different example (fusion, magneto calibration, ecompas)i am usin the CM4 of stm32WL55. this core don't contain a hardware FPU. i tested with xxx_CM3_wc32_ot.a and xxx_CM4_wc32_ot.a files  here are the setting of my compiler :  it is blocked in the first call of any function from xxxxx_wc32_ot.a files any suggestion to resolve that ? Thank you,Sincerely.

Hi,I've tried finding a document that would describe what do the different error codes mean for the CAN FD module.Does anyone have a link or an idea where to search from?My CAN FD peripheral ends up in error status 516 at some point and I can't find what it means.

Hello,I am trying to use the USB HS on the Nucleo-H7S3L8 dev board.I was using the USB HS on the STM32H7A3ZI, it was using the physical layer but limited to FS, and it was easy to configure, but i need to change boards to have the HS USB.The ioc is configured with basics only:Rcc - HSE - Crystal/ceramic resonatorUSB_OTG_HS - Device_onlyUSB_Device - Virtual COM PortThe clock configuration does not show conflicts and USBOHS is 60MHz.The project was imported from a template and has Boot project only.When debugging the code the function  MX_USB_DEVICE_Init() gives timeout, more specifically on the USB_CoreReset function.Thanks for your help!

Hi,I am using the STM32L031F6 MCU and have configured the internal clock, which is working properly. However, I need to configure the external clock. We observed a pin conflict when changing to the external clock configuration because we are using the PA0 pin for another purpose. In this situation, is it possible to configure the external clock?Below is the RCC configuration:Clock configuration

Hi Testing CubeMX 6.12.0 and found a bug.  This may exist in other editions.   The code generator improperly places the user code comments in the final while(1) loop.  This causes MX (and its integration into IDE) to delete all user code.  While testing in IDE, the correct comments will prevent the code from getting deleted.  Please see a snip from CubeMX code generator below: ========THIS IS WHAT CUBEMX 6.12.0 GENERATES ========= /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE END WHILE */ /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ } /* USER CODE END 3 */   ===========THIS IS WHAT IT *should* GENERATE ======== /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */ /* USER CODE END 3 */ } /* USER CODE END WHILE */   ================== Can you please address this ASAP?  Thank you!

I have installed SPC5 Studio version 6.0 on my Windows 10 PC and compiled sample code.When compiling the project , i got below warning/issue "Type 'uint32_t' could not be resolved"Q1: Can you give the solution for this?

No ST-LINK detected in STM32CubeProgrammer or the IDE. My ST-LINK/V2 ISOL shows up in Windows 11 Device Manger with driver 2.2.0.0 dated 2021-04-01. I thought the version on the ST website was 2.02? I was able to update it's firmware this morning. I downloaded STM32CubeProgrammer 2.17.0 this morning as well. Not sure what to try next to get this working.

I'm using stm32H750B-DK and i'm trying to send a frame via LIN protocole every one second .but when i run the code nothing happen .when debugging i found that the code blocked in an endless loop in SCB_EnableDCache() function

I’m using an STM32 microcontroller and am trying to understand more about the flash memory endurance cycles. The datasheet mentions an endurance of 1 kcycle (1,000 program/erase cycles). I think possible Write and read  (1000 cycles ) or is there any limits about  program/erase cycles?Could  explain what exactly this means in terms of practical use? How are these cycles characterized, and what factors might affect the actual endurance in a real-world application?   Thanks!"

Thissuggests that one cannot execute code from SRAM. Is that really correct?Also there is ambiguity on whether the OTP area (512 bytes plus the control block) is readable in RDP2. Why say "512 bytes" and not just all-OTP?The OTP area must remain usable under RDP2 and readable by internal code, but not accessible externally (with a debugger).Above is fromhttps://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an5156-introduction-to-security-for-stm32-mcus-stmicroelectronics.pdf

Hello ST,I’m a motor control fan and developed a few motor controllers in the past years for myself. I always worked with TI MCU’s because I liked their sensorless solution for PMSM control. At low speed the torque generation was not bad but at zero speed, there were some problems. I always started with HALL sensors and at a certain speed I switched to sensorless FOC.At the moment I’m building a 300A 100V motor controller for my master thesis and I wanted to use a sensored solution because of the startup problems with sensorless solutions. Then I saw your ZEST algorithm, which looks very interesting.Now I’m wondering if the ZEST algorithm could solve these startup problems, what do you think?Can I replace the encoder with ZEST without having any problems at zero speed?I’m using a 20kW BLDC motor which is inside a buggy car.Best Regards,Daniel

Hi, everyoneWhat does the letter G printed on the STmicroelectronics TDA7297 IC mean?See attached image fileThanks

Hi there,I am using STM32F429BIT6 and want to show the SDcard(connect with MCU by SDIO) as a Udisk on PC.I can normally read/write the SD card by MCU with FATFS.But after I added the USB config in CubeMx, the code is something wrong.My CubeMX config is as follows:As we can see, I enabled the USB log, but nothing output.After debugging, I found the MCU is blocked in the while loop in USBD_GetEpDesc().I don't know what that means, please help me. Thank you!

Please, where could I find ST REACH SCIP number?

We are using STM32H753I-EVAL2 evaluation board. We need to test SPI functionality of microcontroller. The board gives a provision to use CN6 & CN7 connector to do this. But the Samtec connector couldn't be connected with any jumping wires nor we could find a mating connector. How to use these connector pins to test SPI functionality?

Hi When HAL_Delay goes into uart interrupt, the program stops. Is there a way to work it out?  I tried to use NVIC, but I don't know how to set it up.  Please advise. Thank you. Here is my uart interrupt service routine. void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart){if(huart == &huart1){uart_receivebuffer[uartidx++] = rx_buf; if(rx_buf == 0x03){ HAL_Delay(100); UartReceive();} HAL_UART_Receive_IT(&huart1, &rx_buf, 1);  }}

I want to control GPIO output using DMA and Timer. The target is generating a CLK signal of 1MHz and control PB0 synchronized with the CLK.I am using Nucleo-F411RE as the development board. I have followed the instructions from the forum and configured the program.Configuration:HCLK: 100MHzTimer3:  Program in main.c: uint32_t dummy_data[7] = {0} ;dummy_data[0] = 0x00000001 ;dummy_data[1] = 0x00010000 ;dummy_data[2] = 0x00000000 ;dummy_data[3] = 0x00000000 ;dummy_data[4] = 0x00000001 ;dummy_data[5] = 0x00010000 ;dummy_data[6] = 0x00000000 ;HAL_DMA_Start(&hdma_tim3_ch4_up, (uint32_t)dummy_data, (uint32_t)&(GPIOB->BSRR), 7) ;HAL_TIM_Base_Start(&htim3) ;HAL_TIM_OC_Start(&htim3, TIM_CHANNEL_4) ;TIM3->DIER |= (1 << 8 )  ; I am expecting to see a pulse in PB0 synchronized with PC9 PWM. But as output, I am getting only 1MHz PWM in PC9 and there is no change in PB0.Am I missing something? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hello, So, I'm trying to display a 4 Digit number on 4 7-segment Display using multiplexing The issues are - 1. I'm using different Ports for Segments and Different Ports For common Cathode Pins ( I'll add the code below)                           2. I'm Directly using GPIO to segment Pins without having any IC in between Flow of the code is as follows :-  - Start -  for UP/DOWN button press  - If UP button is pressed then increment the counter  - Display the value of the counter on 7 segment display - check if button is still being held  - If yes continue incrementing  - If no then stop  - same for DOWN Button used for decrement  - End Here my increment and decrement function is working as expected but I'm not getting how can I display that counter values on 4 7-segment I wrote a code as follows In this

I am using STM32CubeIDE 1.13.0 with the latest firmware packs targeting a STM32H563 and need to include the CMSIS-DSP library.All of the forum posts/youtube videos/howto's etc say to copy a precompiled library file from the firmware repository to your project and then reference it.  The problem is that the current firmware repositories no longer contain pre-compiled libraries, only source code.  So can someone provide an updated set of instructions describing how to use the DSP code.CheersSimon

Hello,I am currently working with the STM32H7R7I8T6 and I am having issues configuring the Power. When HAL_PWREx_ConfigSupply(PWR_LDO_SUPPLY) is called in the HAL_MspInit function, it fails waiting for the PWR_SR1_ACTVOSRDY bit to set. I have measured the output of the internal LDO from the VCAP pins and it gives me a value of 1.187V which is within the acceptable voltage range for Vcore and so thePWR_SR1_ACTVOSRDY is supposed to set. I am starting to think that the registers can't be written or read. If this is the case how can I fix it and are there other reasons why this could be happening?

i am using stm3210e-eval board which has stm32f103zgt6 mcu and i trying to send data on its uart but i am not able to receive any. i am trying to receiving it through blocking mode   uint8_t rx[10]; HAL_UART_Receive(&huart2,rx,1,HAL_MAX_DELAY); HAL_Delay(1000);  now this is the code and i have put the breakpoint on HAL_Delay so that as soon as data is received it will next stop on HAL_Delay but it does not break it stays stuck into uart function there and is not data getting received. I am using FL232RL to send data from putty to mcu pins of uart i can ensure that data is being sent from putty because when i hit enter onto putty i can see the green led getting blinked with each send of data but i am not getting anything over there but i can send data from mcu to putty i can see that clearly so what is happeningPS: i have double checked the baud rate it correctly set and the uart is transmit and receive mode i have tried changing it to receive mode only but
