I have read quite a few threads about ethernet on the H7, along with several internet posts. I've followed this guide:https://community.st.com/s/article/How-to-create-project-for-STM32H7-with-Ethernet-and-LwIP-stack-working?t=1679361727348As well as this guide:https://github.com/AnielShri/STM32H745_Ethernet/blob/master/Documentation/lwip_nortos.mdThey are similar, with some slight differences with the MPU cache settings.My first test is just basic ICMP - which doesn't work. That is, until I comment out this line:SCB_EnableDCache();So, of course, that implies something with the data cache, and memory locations.So, my settings looks like these: LWIP settings:  I've added the following to the linker script: /* Modification start */ .lwip_sec (NOLOAD) : { . = ABSOLUTE(0x30040000); *(.RxDecripSection) . = ABSOLUTE(0x30040060); *(.TxDecripSection) . = ABSOLUTE(0x30040200); *(.RxArraySection) } >RAM_D2Sometimes, I get this error upon each ICMP packet that

hi every one . I want to program my stm32U5 microcontroller with a Bluetooth module that connected to Uart 1. I decided to Use "STM32 microcontroller system memory boot mode"also I use stm32cube programmer software for programing the MCU. at first I tried to program the microcontroller by connecting the uart1  RX/TX directly with a usb converter to the pc. and it was successful. below you can see the programing process . for the next step I connected the bluetooth Module to my microcontroller and try to do it again but I faced a problem .so I decided to monitor the serial port to see what happened . in the normal situation the serial monitor is like this  but when I use the bluetooth module it will be so: so I realised that the problem starts from the second command(02 fd).I tried to send the commands with a serial port to the MCU but when I send the command "02  fd" it will return 1f to me and that is wrong. as I know from the apl

Dear all. I stumbled across something I don't really understand. I'm trying to detect a signal using SPI1 on STM32f723 as fast as possible and fill a buffer. I configured SPI1 in SPI_DIRECTION_2LINES_RXONLY mode, set prescaler to SPI_BAUDRATEPRESCALER_2 hoping for 54MHz (I'm running 216MHz clock). Then I fed 6.75MHz square signal to the MISO. And when I configured DMA2 in DMA_NORMAL I get consistent values like 0x0f, 0x0f, 0x0f .... etc. However, when I switch to DMA_CIRCULAR i observe some kind of a shift in the data, like I was receiving more 0s than 1s. Is it even possible (I know it's a hack) to use SPI to consistently sample a signal at 54MHz? Maybe all it is able to guarantee is 54MHz during a single byte transfer, but it is adding some small delays between the consecutive bytes? My code: void spiDmaConfig () { SPIx_SCK_GPIO_CLK_ENABLE (); SPIx_MISO_GPIO_CLK_ENABLE (); SPIx_CLK_ENABLE (); DMAx_CLK_ENABLE (); GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct = {0}; GPIO_InitStruct.Pin

Hi, any provision to plot array data in real-time during debug using F439 Nucleo?Please guide

I have just started evaluating the STM32U575ZIT6QU for a project that my company is working on.While attempting to evaluate the I2C pins for I2C1 on pings PG13 & PG14, I noticed that the pins would not work correctly and would stay low, even with internal pull-ups enabled.After this finding, I switched the pins to be basic Push-Pull output GPIO instead, and still could not get them to work. All the GPIO on the other ports seem to work fine, except for port G. The inputs to port G do not seem to work either. I am using the generated code from the .ioc file, but have followed all the code and registers to make sure that the RCC was getting enabled to the port as well as checking the GPIO registers to make sure it was configured correctly.I have also tried creating a new project to see if there was a configuration issue, but that didn't seem to solve the issue. Is there something specific I need to do to use port G on this part? Or should is it possible something happened to the part

Hi,I have a custom board by STM32H743 and have some problems by RTC. I've used LSE with a 32.768 KHz external crystal. I have 2 or 3 seconds more in each minute. There is no reset within 3 minute and I see about 15 second more.I've used 6.8 pF for CL1 and CL2...Please help me.

I am trying to use stm32f407 and w25q128 to get a usb drive, for this I wrote a driver to control the flash drive and initialized the USB MSC using CubeMX. When I connect the stm32 to the PC (Ubuntu) I see the new storage device in the Disks app but it doesn't mount, I tried to erase it but the process freezes until I reboot the boardw251128 has:PageSize = 256SectorSize = 4096SectorCount = 4096PageCount = 65536BlockSize = 65536CapacityInKiloByte = 16MbBased on this information, I set the defines in `usbd_storage_if.c`:```#define STORAGE_LUN_NBR 1#define STORAGE_BLK_NBR 0x1000#define STORAGE_BLK_SIZ 0x1000int8_t STORAGE_Read_FS(uint8_t lun, uint8_t *buf, uint32_t blk_addr, uint16_t blk_len){w25q_readSector(buf, blk_addr, 0, blk_len * 4096); // 0 is offsetreturn USBD_OK;}int8_t STORAGE_Write_FS(uint8_t lun, uint8_t *buf, uint32_t blk_addr, uint16_t blk_len){w25q_eraseBlock(blk_addr);w25q_writeBlock(buf, blk_addr, 0, blk_len * 4096);return USBD_OK;}```I added some printfs inside these met

Dear all, the problem has been described in the enclosed video, please watch and advise. Since shooting the video, I have flashed the software three times and no change. I suspect, software is fine as many users are already using this board and same display. I have also tested the same SSD1963 display with another same board, the display works fine. This means that SSD1963 has no issues.I suspect one or more of the signal lines from the STM32 MCU board to the SSD1963 display could be dodgy or some parameters in the software does not match with the articular display board but I do not have the tools or mechnism to investigate any further but if you do or you came across this issue, appreciate if you could advise. Thank you.

good morningi want to create a simple led blinking code. for that, i got the path of the led 8 of my aek-mcu-c4mlit1. it is pk1gpio1 and is connected to the branch 25. i connected it on the gui and wanted to code in my main. unfortunately, C recognizes port k but not the pin that i just pinned and the function that makes it blinks. so my 2 questions are: how to make it recognize the pin and how to get functions that work kind regards

Hi Every one.When i am trying to write CS bit of RCC_CFGR register of STM32G491RE MCU to select HSE as a system clock (i.e 10) it changes to 11 (01 is default so i guess i am not able to clear these bits before assigning new value). Can anyone tell me why this happening. Here is the code for your reference.if(pCLK->SysClkSrc == SYS_CLK_SRC_HSE){if((RCC->CR) &(1<<CR_HSERDY)){ // Set the system clock source to HSERCC->CFGR &= ~(1 << 0); // Set SW bits to 10 for HSERCC->CFGR |= (1 << 1);}else{error_handle();}}

Hi,I have recently encountered an issue opening my existing STM32CubeIDE projects on linux.  The IDE complains that there is no .project file, even when it is actually present. Here's screenshot with terminal showing the content of the .project file:The only thing I can think of that has changed is that I have recently replaced the spinning disk containing the projects with an SSD.  The spinning disk was set up as a single disk RAID array with an XFS filesystem, whereas the new SSD is a standard single disk with BTRFS file system. Does anyone have any idea what may be wrong?

I made a project with stm32h7 board, and use pemicro multlink to debug it under keil. I found it keep in systick handler pending but no active.I checked systick module register as:the counter is changed.and then I checked SCB releate registers asand the interrupt handler addr is asmatched with vector config as: I don't know where is wrong ?

I set my copy of the STM32CubeIDE to generate a hex file whenever I build my project. I want to make a portable file that I can give to other engineers so they can program their STM32F469I-DISCO devo boards for testing without having to install the full STM32CubeIDE toolchain on their PCs (which is quite involved and error-proned because of the various settings and packages required to get it to work on each PC).The problem is, if I start with a new board from the factory, it does not initialize and get past a black screen if I program the board with the STM32CubeProgrammer and generated .hex file. If I use the STM32CubeIDE first, the board fully initializes and I get a good screen.Now, if I program the board first with the STM32CubeIDE, I can program it with the STM32CubeProgrammer after and it works just fine and has all my updates.Can you please tell me what I am missing? Any tips/tricks to figure out what is different in the process of programming it with the STM32CubeIDE

Im using NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q. I used it together with plattformio and arduino framework. In order to get arduino to work im using this setup:   [env:nucleo_h743zi] platform = ststm32 board = nucleo_h743zi framework = arduino monitor_speed = 115200   This works fine using this board but suddenly it stopped working. And getting this upload error   Error: init mode failed (unable to connect to the target)   As well as the board is not connected stm32CubeProgrammer. It is however discovered at port 13 but cannot upload. The COM led is also red indicating there is a problem with the communication with the computer. I got a brand new usb cable and have tried others so it is not the cable. I have two possible scenarios what has happened. 1) since I have soldered the headers I have burned some component on the board. But maybe not so likely since it first worked and then stopped working2) something has happened with the communication after using "wrong" but working bo

Hi guysI want to generate a time base by a general purpose timer interrupt (TIM6) on a F334 with low level library. I do not know why, I get init functions fine but no interrupt request handler is generated, nowhere.It should be very simple, I thought, but I did nothing with STM32 for a longer time. I remember to did this (and more...) with old HAL library years ago, but even though if I select HAL in advanced settigs, I get nothing better. I use the last firmware package version (CubeMX says its version 1.11.5) and tried many things before, including that here:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemx-mcus/how-to-generate-callback-functions-in-stm32cubemx/td-p/130320So I come up here, maybe someone else know what is going wrong here? I attach the cubemx file, maybe somebody can ivestigate what I've forgotten?

Hello ST Community, I am connecting you because I am trying to use a Waveshare LCD/TFT screen (https://www.waveshare.com/2.8inch-tft-touch-shield.htm) which uses the ST7789 (lcd) and XPT2046 (TFT) chips. I can make it work with an Arduino Leonardo board. However, I cannot implement it with the NUCLEO-F401RE board. More precisely, I can implement the backlight (by driving a GPIO), but the SPI communication does not seem to be working. Would you be able to confirm that pins PA5 should be used for SCLK, PA6 for MISO, PA7 for MOSI and PB4 to PB6 for: SD_CS, TP_CS and LCD_CS ?  There are several git repo with different code drivers version, but not sure about SPI1 pinout. Do you have a link to a driver that can be used with the NUCLEO-F401RE board or any advices for debugging ? Thank you very much for any help you can give me. Best regards,

hi,I am trying to connect ili9341  - STM32F722ZE FSMC- TFT but i couldn't succeed .ili9342 16bit - is working in direct GPIO 16 bit data PORT drive with STM32F722ZE not in FSMC-TFT . Looks most of the ili9341 working with FMC-TFT STM32F4 Series   around the internet.Really ILI9341 will work with F7 Series ? and MPU is mandatory with FSMC-TFT ? .Plan to STM32H7B0VBT6 with LTDC display before start that can i test STM32H7B0VBT6 with ili9341- FMC ? .

I have compiled tf-a, optee, kernel and u-boot inside STM32CubeIDE.I have copy over the uImage from the linux build/arch/arm/boot/ and the .dtb file as well. They have been copied over to st-image-bootfs-openstlinux-weston-stm32mp1.ext4 file. I'm only changing the st-image-bootfs-openstlinux-weston-stm32mp1.ext4 file from the Starter Package form STM32MP1 series. The rest e.g st-image-weston-openstlinux-weston-stm32mp1.ext4, st-image-vendorfs-openstlinux-weston-stm32mp1.ext4 and st-image-userfs-openstlinux-weston-stm32mp1.ext4 are not changed.The kernel is booting, no problem there. But the login promt does not appear. It seems that I got no errors at all, when I look at the full log. My thoughts is that what if bootfs not booting up the software such as command prompt?The last snippet of the kernel boot log from UART4.  D/TC:0 pwr_scv_handler:56 PWR service: set 0x40000000 at offset 0xc D/TC:0 pwr_scv_handler:56 PWR service: set 0x10000000 at offset 0xc D/TC:0

My V2 is having communication link issues with my STVP.  It was running fine and then boom I get hit with a notification that"Cannot communicate with the device!Check the SWD cable connection and check all the needed pin connections on the SWD connector. Reboot the ST-Link with USB cable.If the device has been programmed with Protection Level 2, no more communication is possible."What can I do to fix the issue?  I am not sure how to reboot the ST-Link with the usb cable nor understand why all of a sudden there would be a protection level on the device.  I am sorry I am not very tech savy I have been thrown onto this project. I did have to install the driver once I noticed the connection issue on the device manager.Please help.

I'm trying to get STM32MP157F-EV1 board working with the STM32Cube ecosystem.  I have successfully followed the getting started guide., STM32MP157x-EV1 Lets Start   URL.  I get to the last step in  /Populate_the_target_and_boot_the_image, (Step 8), Boot the Board and GUI never shows up on Display.   After multiple reboots, reflashes, I thought let me go to next step, anyways, https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157x-EV1/Let%27s_start/Execute_basic_commands .  Well it turns out that I am able to login to device using Minicom.  I checked dmesg output, dmesg | grep display[ 0.117034] platform 5a001000.display-controller: Fixed dependency cycle(s) with /soc/dsi@5a000000[ 0.131004] platform 5a001000.display-controller: Fixed dependency cycle(s) with /soc/dsi@5a000000[ 0.131240] platform 5a000000.dsi: Fixed dependency cycle(s) with /soc/display-controller@5a001000[ 2.751026] stm32-display-dsi 5a0

Hello, I'm working on STM32H7B3I-EVAL with STM32CubeIDE. I would like to write in the OSPI, so I made the following code: void OSPI_Write(uint32_t address, uint8_t *data, uint32_t size) { OSPI_RegularCmdTypeDef sCommand; // Désactivation du mode mappé HAL_OSPI_Abort(&hospi1); // Configuration de la commande pour l'écriture en mode indirect sCommand.OperationType = HAL_OSPI_OPTYPE_WRITE_CFG; sCommand.FlashId = HAL_OSPI_FLASH_ID_1; sCommand.Instruction = MX25LM51245G_OCTA_WRITE_ENABLE_CMD; sCommand.InstructionMode = HAL_OSPI_INSTRUCTION_8_LINES; sCommand.Address = address; sCommand.AddressMode = HAL_OSPI_ADDRESS_8_LINES; sCommand.AddressSize = HAL_OSPI_ADDRESS_32_BITS; sCommand.DataMode = HAL_OSPI_DATA_8_LINES; sCommand.NbData = size; sCommand.DummyCycles = 0; sCommand.DQSMode = HAL_OSPI_DQS_DISABLE; // Envoye de la commande d'écriture if (HAL_OSPI_Command(&hospi1, &sCommand, HAL_OSPI_TIMEOUT_DEFAULT_VALUE) != HAL_OK) { //5s Error_Handler(); } // Écrire les données dans

We're working on a new design using the STM32H753, partly based on the fact the memories have ECC implemented, but the documentation does not mention what technology is used for the FDCAN message RAM.Can someone elaborate on what protections exist for data integrity between CRC validation and a read from message RAM?Likewise, is there any protection against or indication of memory faults for any other features supported by message RAM?

Hello,I am using the model from 'STM32 AI Model Zoo' located at 'stm32ai-modelzoo/image_classification/pretrained_models/mobilenetv2/ST_pretrainedmodel_public_dataset/flowers/mobilenet_v2_0.35_128_tl' for image classification. I have installed and tested the Device Application using the Template Application in X-CUBE-AI 9.0.0.I verified that the input data is correctly received, and I understand that the output should be quantized integer values according to the quantization results. However, I have found that all the output values in the first tensor of the model's data_outs are 0.- 1. Can this happen if I don't use the stm32h747i board?- 2. Did I misunderstand and write the post process function incorrectly?Thanks
