Hello,I fear I may be getting tunnel visioned, but I am getting an error when I try to manually add the BSP files for the STM32H7B3I-EVAL board. I am getting the following error: "Description Resource Path Location Typefatal error: stm32h7b3i_eval.h: No such file or directory main.h /Display_CubeMXBringUp_Test/Core/Inc line 34 C/C++ Problem"Now, the file is in the folder Drivers/BSP/STM32H7B3I-EVAL, which is part of my include path. See the picture below, including the file in the directory via the File Explorer. Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong?

I hope this email finds you well. I am currently working with the STM32 NUCLEO F429ZI and encountering challenges with Ethernet connectivity. Specifically, I am looking for example projects demonstrating how to connect STM32 to Ethernet, both using a fixed IP and DHCP.

Hi, we are using the STEVAL-CAM-M0I board to evaluate the 55G0 protomodule.I have it connected to a raspberry pi CM4 IO breakout board, to the CAM1 CSI-2 interface. There is a provided driver, etc for this from ST, but it appears the pinout is not 1:1. But most of the documentation shows the eval board connecting directly to a raspberry pi. So I am wondering where does the issue lie here? Is the RST controlled by the GPIO, or am I missing something about the compatibility? It was attractive because we didn't need to make an interface board.I see the Reset pin and the Cam GPIO pins are swapped, along with the data lines. Raspberry PI Pinout:and the STEVAL-CAM-M0I pinout:Thanks

Hello ST experts and everyone,I am a beginner on using the STM32WLE5CC series and need some support. When using the LoRaWAN_FUOTA routine to make a product on the STM32WLE5CCU6 chip solution, DEVEUI, JOINEUI, and APPKEY need to be burned into the chip. However, it seems that KMS is enabled by default, so the last 4KB of nvm in the chip flash does not store the corresponding key value. How can I make an interface for factory production burning?

I encountered an issue where an error occurs when only the image data is moved to NOR Flash in the linker. I have already verified that the NOR Flash works correctly in a separate project by toggling the LEDs.In my current TouchGFX project, I enabled the NOR Flash in the IDE, and I am able to read the data in the memory browser, confirming that the same data is present. However, when I choose my custom loader in the debug configuration and try to debug,  If I remove the ext_flash section from the linker, I am able to debug and see the data in the memory browser.but its just txbuffer data(0xD20F- increases) My question is, if this error is resolved, will I be able to see the image data in the memory browser? This would help me confirm that the NOR Flash is indeed storing the image data correctly. Any insights on why this might be happening or suggestions for resolving this issue?I get the following error:     ExtFlashSection : { . = ALIGN(4); *(.ExtF

Hi Team,After assigning NOR Flash space in the linker, I created an external loader, tested it, and debugged it in CubeProgrammer. @mƎALLEm  suggested to seek help regarding my TouchGFX-related query in a new thread. Is there any reference or guide available for implementing FMC NOR Flash in a TouchGFX project within CubeIDE? I added my own loader in the debug configuration and debugged it, but no data is shown on the display, nor is anything visible at 0x60000000 in the memory browser. Please guide me on how to achieve full access via Flash memory.Regards,jr_mbed_engr my linker file: estack = ORIGIN(RAM_D1) + LENGTH(RAM_D1); /* end of RAM */ /* Generate a link error if heap and stack don't fit into RAM */ _Min_Heap_Size = 0x2000; /* required amount of heap */ _Min_Stack_Size = 0x4000; /* required amount of stack */ /* Specify the memory areas */ MEMORY { FLASH (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 2048K DTCMRAM (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 128K RAM_D

Dear ST Community,Our whole team is really irritated by the behavior of a ST25 DV64K-I tag.We want to use the NFC tag to transmit a firmware hex file (.bin). For testing purposes, we used the ST25 NFC Tap Android App and after successfully scanning the tag, we went to the feature menu -> ST25DV Demonstrations -> FTM demos. After deactivating the error recovery (when having it enabled it doesn't work at all for us), clicking on the "firmware update" button and picking a firmware from the phones storage, the transmission starts. Interestingly, when we use a small file like 25 KB, everything is working fine and our bootloader also completely processes & receives the file. However: The actual firmware we want to transmit is about 95 kb big. Everytime we try to transfer those, it fails at about 35.000 - 45.000 byte. It's always around 50 seconds to 1 minute after the transmission starts. I've also debugged the app and the error code "tag not in the field" is written in the console,

Hi,How to use an inbuilt potentiometer? what are the steps (APIs) need to use?I have used the below-linked code. But it didn't work.code i used Thanks Mathan

Posted on October 13, 2017 at 14:10Hello,I am trying to make a rest api for my stm32f controller. I am using the lwIP library for the Ethernet connection.I looked at the STMCube applications with the lwIP library, but it works with .(s)html web pages.i want to make a web interface that can be used for remote IO, settings and reading pins/data.I want to send the data in JSON strings. The data of LED 1 has to be set my styping into a web browser: http://10.1.0.113/LEDS/1/1.Does anyone know how to make REST API's for the stm32?Greetings,Angus Schmaloer#REST # API #STM32 #lwIP

I am trying to use the low power detection mode now, I want to try to use the phase detection function to implement a low power detection card, the 3920B can configure the interval time between each detection pulse, but Apple has no control over the pulse width of the detection pulse (pulse duration time) requirement, I would like to know how to modify the duration of the detection pulse. This question is urgent. Who can help answer it in time? Thank you!   This post has been translated from Chinese to comply with the ST Community guidelines.

The HAL_FLASH documentation is especially poor. There in no overview of what you have to do. You would think (because of lack of anything saying different) you have to HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock()HAL_FLASH_Program(...)HAL_FLASH_OB_Lock()The first command HAL_FLASH_OB_Unlock() crashes. HAL_FLASH_Program(...) says the format is HAL_StatusTypeDef HAL_FLASH_Program(uint32_t TypeProgram, uint32_t Address, uint64_t Data)Nowhere in the HAL Documentation's (UM1940) 1441 pages does it say what "TypeProgram" is, what it is used for, or what it should be. It says TypeProgram indicates the way to program at a specific address. The value can be a value of FLASH Type Program. What is FLASH Type Program? On page 234 it has FLASH Type ProgramFLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_BYTEFLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_HALFWORDFLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_WORDFLASH_TYPEPROGRAM_DOUBLEWORDI cannot program that with a byte or a halfword, or a word. it can only be a word.Looking into the code for HAL_FLASH_Program() in stm32g0xx_hal_flash.c it says /** *

I am working with STM32U073 and the LCD initialization code generated by CubeMx 6.12.0 (from STM32CubeIDE 1.16.0) does not work with LSI selected as the clock source.HAL_LCD_Init() returns HAL_TIMEOUT due to LCD_WaitForSynchro() timing out.The issue is caused by two problems:1. With only LCD enabled (i.e. RTC disabled) the LSI oscillator is not enabled at all when SystemClock_Config() calls HAL_RCC_OscConfig(): void SystemClock_Config(void) { RCC_OscInitTypeDef RCC_OscInitStruct = {0}; RCC_ClkInitTypeDef RCC_ClkInitStruct = {0}; /** Configure the main internal regulator output voltage */ HAL_PWREx_ControlVoltageScaling(PWR_REGULATOR_VOLTAGE_SCALE2); /** Initializes the RCC Oscillators according to the specified parameters * in the RCC_OscInitTypeDef structure. */ RCC_OscInitStruct.OscillatorType = RCC_OSCILLATORTYPE_MSI; RCC_OscInitStruct.MSIState = RCC_MSI_ON; RCC_OscInitStruct.MSICalibrationValue = RCC_MSICALIBRATION_DEFAULT; RCC_OscInitStruct.MSIClockRange = RCC_M

Hello.STM32G431CBT6Is it possible to route the output from the comparator to the input of the Timer input? The reference manual says that this is possible, but there is no description. And in the comparator register there are no options for choosing where to send the output.Previously, I used stm32f072, and in the comparator settings there is an "OUTSEL"  bit field where you can select where the output will be connected.I need to measure the signal period (timer in "input capture" mode).

I have a HAL/Cube based project where I am currently using TIM2 for counting edges, and TIM16 for timing.I am now trying to add more timers but have found that when I enable TIM1 orTIM17, and enable ALL the associated interrupts, that I never get any interrupts for these timers.  But interrupts continue just fine for TIM2 and TIM16.

Hello,  i'm wondering if it is possible to copy data from RAM to flash using DMA after unlocking the FLASH memory   static const uint32_t src[4] ={80,20,30}; static uint32_t dst = 0x080E0000; __HAL_RCC_DMA1_CLK_ENABLE(); dma_handler.Instance = DMA1_Stream0; dma_handler.Init.Channel = DMA_CHANNEL_0; dma_handler.Init.Direction = DMA_MEMORY_TO_MEMORY; dma_handler.Init.PeriphInc = DMA_PINC_ENABLE; dma_handler.Init.MemInc = DMA_MINC_ENABLE; dma_handler.Init.PeriphDataAlignment = DMA_PDATAALIGN_WORD; dma_handler.Init.MemDataAlignment = DMA_MDATAALIGN_WORD; dma_handler.Init.Mode = DMA_NORMAL; dma_handler.Init.Priority = DMA_PRIORITY_LOW; HAL_DMA_Init(&dma_handler); //__HAL_LINKDMA(&flashHandle, hdma, dma_handler); //HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOG,GPIO_PIN_13,GPIO_PIN_SET); HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); FLASH_Erase_Sector(FLASH_SECTOR_11, VOLTAGE_RANGE_3); HAL_DMA_Start(&dma_handler,(uint32_t)&src,(uint32_t)&dst,4); HAL_FLASH_Lock();   Nothing is happened and the value st

Hi All,I've been using my ST-LinkV3mini for a few weeks now quite happily, until two days ago when it just stopped talking to my M3 MacBook Air (MacOS 15.0.1). I'm fairly sure I know what's happening, when I try to communicate between the laptop and ST-Link the ST-link crashes. Why I think this, the status LED stops flashing red and remains on constantly red as well as the error in Clion:libusb: error [submit_bulk_transfer] bulk transfer failed (dir = Out): pipe is stalled (code = 0xe000404f)After getting into this state If I try to reconnect I get this message:libusb: warning [darwin_transfer_status] transfer error: device not responding (value = 0xe00002ed)I then cycle power and the LED starts flashing again.I have tired updating the firmware but the update tool in cubeProgrammer reports corrupt firmware. The strangest part is that it works completely fine on another (windows) laptop, including updating the links firmware but that still did not help. Unfortunately, I don't own t

Hi. I discovered an issue on UM3292 while trying to get PCF8574 I2C LCD module to work with my STM32U083C-DK. On page 22, it is stated that D14 is connected to PB9. However, it is actually connected to PB7. I have the MB1933C version. When I replaced PB9 with PB7 my code it works flawlessly. KR,Ahmet Efe Akyazı

I have a Beaglebone Computer configured as SPI Masted, and an STM32F446 configured as SPI Slave. I am simply sending 'HelloWorld' from the Beaglebone to the STM32, and trying to send 'ABCDEFG!' from the STM32 to the Beaglebone. The STM32 receives the message from the Beaglebone as expected, but the STM32 MISO line never outputs the message to the Beaglebone. See the image for reference which shows the MISO output from the STM in blue, clk in yellow, and MOSI in green. I am using HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA(&hspi1, SPITxByte, SPIRxByte, SPI_BUFF_LEN); for setting up the communication. Can someone please help me out here? I've been scratching my head for days. Attached is my Cube Generated main.c file

I use touchfgx 4.24.1 Designer to generate a new project. After generating it, I use this stm32cubemx 6.12.1 to open the stm32cubeProject. It will say that my stm32cubemx 6.12.1 does not have touchfgx 4.24.0 installed, and it wants me to install touchfgx 4.24. 0.My question is, I obviously used the 4.24.1 version of the project, why do I need to install touchfgx 4.24.0 when opening the stm32cubeProject project in stm32cubemx 6.12.1? I am sure that my stm32cubemx has touchfgx 4.24.1 installed.

In attached datasheet  (it download from ST website) page 70-71 and 77-78, assign 4 pins to I2C1,In CubeMX, it assign to B6,B7.Is it typo?

Hello, I am currently working on a sound acquisition project using the STM32G473VET6 microcontroller and IMP34DT05TR microphone. I am encountering an issue while trying to configure the Serial Audio Interface (SAI) clock frequency. My target frequency is 2.048 MHz, but CubeMX is not allowing me to set this value. Currently, the clock frequency is set at 12 MHz. I would appreciate any guidance on how to configure the SAI clock to 2.048 MHz or any potential workarounds to achieve this configuration. Best, AiROT

I noticed, that in the RM for the stm32f446 (v6, 2021) the description for the number of slots in the SAI peripheral (NBSLOT) seems wrong?I am not quite sure, but the behavior on my device suggests that the bitfield represents the number of slots -1.Therefore, I write a 0b1 for 2 slots. The way it is formulated states that it would require a 0b11 for 2 slots. Is this an error or am i wrong?

Hello,I am using the NUCLEO-WBA55CG board with CubeIDE1.4.0 and the firmware package STM32Cube_FW_WBA_V1.2.0.When I flash the project BLE_p2pServer_ota, everything seems to be fine at first. But when I scan the BLE devices with the ST BLE Toolbox app, I can't find it.Then I deleted the first two sectors in the flash with CubeProgrammer and uploaded the binary file BLE_p2pServer_ota.bin. Nothing happened. Then I executed another flash process from CubeIDE and suddenly it worked. In this example, do I have to delete certain sectors in the flash before I upload it?

Hello everyone,I'm a fairly experienced STM32 Developer, and I use the STM32 line almost in all of my designs. However, I've encountered an extraordinary problem.I've followed this Application note: AN5290 in my schematic (see attachment). However, I cannot program it via SWD.I've supplied +5V and checked that all +3V3 rails are present and OK.When I try to program it via STLINK-V3 (official, not the clone) it cannot access the MCU and says "No STM32 Target Found".I've connected the MCU USB to my computer and showed that the MCU is in DFU Mode even though BOOT0 is pulled LOW.Another strange thing is that Option bits are assigned strangely.I've uploaded the code in the attachments via USB DFU mode and the Code has worked perfectly. However, I cannot program it again even via SWD or DFU which is very strange behavior. The board consumes around 10mA in DFU or Runs the code in the attachments.Thanks.
